Chapter 35: Chapter 35
Von POV
"Get some rest, Von." I looked at Leona who was looking at me while leaning against the door.
I just shook my head and looked at my daughter.
"Will it take long for Yezrah to wake up?" I asked. She didn't say a word. I feel sorry for my daughter. She has been unconscious for several days.
I don't even know what to do to wake up my daughter.
"She'll wake up to Von," Creed said having just entered my room.
He was with his wife while Clementine approached my daughter and held her hand.
"She's cold." She said that's why I looked at her.
"Is it normal to be this cold?" Clementine asked us, so I approached my daughter and held her. I was immediately nervous when I felt that Yezrah was cold.
"Leona, my daughter," I said nervously, so Leona immediately approached us and held Yezrah. Leona's eyes widened and looked at Yezrah's nails.
"Her nails are turning black," she said then looked at me.
"What does that mean?" I asked nervously.
"We can't wait for Leana, let's take Yezrah to the Devil's sea," Leona said making my forehead wrinkle.
"Someone can help us, my friend," she said.
"What's going on?" Fin asked having just walked in the door.
"Yezrah's body is slowly dying." It was as if cold water was poured on me by what Leona said, my siblings immediately took action while I was still standing and looking at my daughter.
What's going on? Who did this?
"Von act now." Said Rizden who was next to me. I didn't pay attention to her, I looked out the window of my room and that's when I realized that an owl was sitting on the window.
I frowned and slowly approached the owl, this owl was like a person because of the way he looked at me, I could see that she felt sorry for me.
"Shoo." I chased away the owl but it didn't act, instead, it looked in Yezrah's direction, which is why I was even angrier with the owl.
"Shoo." I drove away again and pushed the owl out of the window but it didn't flatten because it still flew into my room and landed next to Yezrah.
"Von where is the--" I looked at Leona who entered my room with a bag, she stopped when she saw the owl next to Yezrah.
"Are you taking care of that Leona? Let it out here it's distracting." I said but she didn't say a word.
That's why I raised an eyebrow at her.
"If you don't take care of it, I will kill it," I said and was ready to transform into a wolf-dog when Leona spoke.
"Don't," Leona said then approached the owl.
"That one is not an owl," she said then capture the owl. I was still surprised by what she did, but in an instant, the owl suddenly changed its form, it had hands and feet and long hair.
My heart almost fell when I saw who it was.
"L-Lit," I whispered while looking at Leona's strangulation, she was crying while her hand was holding our daughter's hand.
Leona slowly let go of her while I was still shocked by what I was seeing.
Isn't she in Bermuda? What is she doing here?
"What... are you doing here?" I asked.
"Hey, it's ready..... what the fuck?" We turned to the speaker, Creed while looking at Lit.
My heart almost broke when Lit hugged the cold body of our daughter.
My tears immediately fell while looking at them.
"Won't your husband be angry with you coming here?" I asked Lit, she just looked at me and shook her head.
She kissed her daughter on the forehead before standing up and taking out a bottle filled with red liquid.
She gave it to Leona.
"This is the medicine for my daughter." She said then smiled sadly at Leona.
"Make her drink that and she'll wake up."
"Wait a minute, are you the one who did this?" I asked, Lit turned to me and then shook her head.
"I never once hurt our daughter," she said then looked at Yezrah.
"Why do you know what medicine can cure her?" I asked.
"That's not important, the important thing is that you get her to drink it before the sun rises." She said so I looked outside and saw that the sun was about to rise.
"I have to go," she said then came to me, I looked into her eyes as she spoke, and I could see the pain and sadness in her eyes before she hugged me.
"Take care of our daughter," she said while hugging me. I also hugged her back and closed my eyes, she never fail to make my heart beat faster.
"Why do you have to leave when you can stay here?" I asked, she let go of the hug and wiped my tears.
"Because it's not possible yet, everything is too complicated." She said then held my hand.
"I'll be back, but not today." In suddenly her soft lips touched mine, it was quick but my heart almost burst with joy.
She moved away from me little by little and then turned into an owl again.
"Be careful," I said at the same time she flew out the window of my room.
"It's drama, damn it." I looked at the speaker, Fin with a smile on his lips. I just rolled my eyes at him and looked at Leona.
"Let's get my daughter to drink that before the sun rises," I said. Leona immediately let go of the bag she was holding and approached Yezrah, we also approached and watched how Leona dabbed Yezrah's lips with the liquid given by Lit.
"Nothing happened." I looked out my window and saw the sun gradually rising.
"Repeat it, maybe it's not enough," Creed said so Leona pour Yezrah on the lips again. Three minutes passed but still, nothing happened. I held my daughter and she was still like that, my daughter was still cold.
"We're late," Rizden said so I shook my head.
After a while, Yezrah suddenly sat down while catching her breath. My eyes widened when I saw what she did.
"Yezrah.." I said and immediately hugged my daughter.
"Uncle Daddy...." Yezrah whispered which made me cry even more.
She is awake, my daughter is awake.
