The first sonogram had been done which had Bianca excited that they were having a boy and he was growing well.

She had dedicated herself to make sure he stays that way. Cooking nourishing meals with extra greens for blood and body growth.

The bell to Alvin's bedroom kept ringing irritating him. He stirred uncomfortably to see a sleeping Kate with her hands on her growing bump. She had five months to go. He tucked fringes of hair behind her ears then placed a kiss on her lips. The bell interrupted him.

Begrudgingly, he stood up and trailed off to open the door and saw a trolley of food rolled into his room.

" Good Morning Mom, you're early. She's not awake yet " he informed but she ignored him serving the food.

Kate woke up sniffing the air the minute the aroma hit her nose. Alvin and Bianca chuckled at her behavior.

" Good morning Mrs. Kang, good morning Alvin" she yawns sitting up.

" Morning dear, come here. Breakfast is served. I hope Alvin didn't give you a sleepless night? She winked helping her up.

" Wow. All this for me? This is too much. I don't want to get fat" she pouts but Bianca wasn't listening as she served her refilling her bowl when she was done. Kate gave Alvin a pleading face urging him to help her.

" Mom, you're going to fatten her up that she won't be able to walk. That's enough now or she'll puke " he said and that did the trick as she gave it a rest settling for meds and vitamins for her.

" Thanks, Mom"

Bianca handed her a cup of milk.

" Have your bath. We're shopping for my grandson today and you need maternity clothes or should I bathe you? Kate immediately refused grabbing a bathrobe.

" I'll take care of that. Thanks, Mom" said Alvin helping Kate with the zipper.

" Don't stress her Alvin. Keep your hands to yourself" she warned pushing the trolley out of the room.

" Your mom wanna make me fat. Alvin, am I fat? She asked dropping her nightwear on the floor nude in front of him. His eyes wandered around her body settling on her bump then a full chest.

" Nope. You're perfect. You won't get fat besides I'm here to give you sleepless nights"

" Don't be silly Alvin. Sleepless nights mean high blood pressure and it's not good for my baby. My lucky baby. I can't wait to have him. A child of my own" she smiled putting her hands on it and felt him kick her. She squirmed. Grabbing his hands to feel it.

" What's wrong? He asked touching her bump then something quickened. He furrowed his brows ' is that normal? He's just four months old. Is something wrong with him? Is it the sex? She laughed at him hushing him with her index finger

" It's our baby's first kick. It means he's healthy. Ask mom if you doubt me" he sighed rubbing her bump.

" Good. That scared me" she giggled reaching for her bathrobe

" You look good in pregnancy Kate. Really good" he tells her stopping her from wrapping the robe.

" With a swollen belly? It's not funny Alvin. I can't wait to be a mother. I'm going to love him with every fiber of my body. I wish he was a she. Blockbuster" she twitched her mouth then entered the bathroom to brush her teeth and bath.

Alvin shrugged eating his breakfast then heard a muffled groan from the bathroom and ran out.

' Kate, what's wrong? He asked worriedly checking for damages then sat her down on a couch

" I saw some spotting." She spoke pointing to her panties. He looked at it.

" We're going to the hospital now. Let's get you dressed" he stated. He washed her then carried her to the room sending for his mom.

" Kate are you okay? Are you craving for ice cream or milkshake or whipped cream' she urged sitting beside her?

" I saw some spotting. Is it normal? Bianca heaved a sigh of relief patting her back.

" It's normal okay? Just keep a close eye on it. It's nothing to worry about" she announced but it didn't sit too well with Alvin who insisted on going to the hospital

Bianca volunteered to take her there while the doctor added meds to her vitamins. Kate wasn't happy with the turn of events but she took it for her baby's sake.

Bianca took her shopping for the baby shower, buying different kinds of stuff like baby rollers, blankets, clothes, and a lot more she hadn't seen before. She was certain they were worth millions. Her son was going to be a mommy's boy . she just know it.

' Kate, it's your turn. Let's get you some clothes" she wanted to object but changed her mind. No one tells Bianca what to do. She picked the finest brand of clothes for her smiling from ear to ear.

' We need tampons and panties. Yes, underwears. Your boobs are fuller which means we're taking a bigger size. I wonder why you're not adding weight perhaps it's Alvin's fault"

" Not really," she said shyly. Bianca giggled pointing at her choice of clothes which the sales personnel picked. She's a vvip after all. " Kate sat down deciding to wait for her while surfing her phone then Naomi called.

' I thought you've forgotten me now that you're a manager' she joked.

" Manager my foot. The company is crumbling. It's about to close I guess. I think they pissed someone off. Carla is a mess. I don't know what to do about it. I can't lose my job. Kate, can't Alvin help? I know he's scary but he'll listen to you, right?

' I'll try. Is Dante alright? Naomi frowned

" We're going through the same thing. Don't tell me you can't help us. You know I don't go come there because of your scary husband right? Fine. I'll come over for a visit" she placated ready to do anything to keep her job.

" We'll talk better when I see you. Take care of yourself" with that she ended the call.

" Don't you like the makeup bag I bought you? I noticed you don't have makeup. Take a look" she said opening the biggest makeup box she has ever seen.

' Mom, who is going to use it? I don't know what they're used for" she admitted.

" Don't worry I will show you. I got a few months till my husband returns. I'm going to take care of you believe me" she smiled ordering the sales personnel to wrap it up.

" Here I bought you a cranberry juice. You'll like it" Kate muttered thanks for taking it from her.

" I bought you skirts as well. It's more convenient for you know...than trousers. " She giggled.

" Thanks, Mom. Wow," she exclaimed noticing the numerous shopping bags they were packaging. Like mother like son' she thought rolling her eyes.

She was true to her words taking care of her feeding, clothing, and nutrition. She would volunteer to take her to the hospital should Alvin insist. Kate didn't know how she deserved her love and care though she knew it was because of the baby. She felt really lucky.

The third sonogram was done and the baby was healthy. She was seven months pregnant and decided to hold a baby shower.

The house was literally boomy with the maids getting ready for the party.

Alvin couldn't wait to have a son and Kate was always sleeping. He couldn't bear to wake her thus, opted for the safest options wrapping his arms around her chest raining lingering kisses on her shoulder and neck which had her stirring. He scoffed then kissed her cheeks earning a satisfactory smile from her.

" Good morning Alvin, is it time yet? Can't I sleep a little longer? She complained with eyes closed

" I wish you could. I'll help you perhaps bathe you. My treat" he coaxed leaning for a kiss as she giggled welcoming it.

Lisa and Annette were helping Kate with the dress putting on everything for her including lingeries.

" I can't even see my feet. I never thought it'll get this bad? " She whined as they laughed at her making her hair.

" Well, it'll be over soon. Oh my, Kate's short hairdo suits you. I'm so happy for you" Lisa said hugging her by the side.

" See, I can't hug properly"

" At least, Sir Alvin is there to massage your waist and feet. I bet you love making him run errands" Annette voiced playfully as Kate blushes, she does enjoy bossing Alvin around not that he was complaining.

" Annette! You're not a little girl anymore" Annette shrugged giving her the puppy eyes.

" Is it two already? They hummed leading her to the big dressing mirror. She touched her face fascinated by her appearance. " Is that really me? Omg. I look different. Wow," she said in awe pouting her lips and checking herself out then rubbed her big bump.

" You look good in peach" Annette commented on the peach-colored silk-chiffon midi dress she wore and the full face makeover.

" We're done. Alvin is going to impregnate you again. I can feel it" Annette chimed as Kate chuckled stroking her wavy hair impressed.

" You guys dolled me up for Alvin, right? They made an innocent face as Bianca entered the room with floating balloons in her hands handing it to Kate.

" You look lovely my dear. Look at you. I'm afraid my son won't be able to keep his hands to himself" Kate blushed hugging her.

" Thanks, Mom. Have you seen Alvin? I don't know why Tate organized a baby shower. We've everything prepared for the baby already" she whined seemingly fluttered to be the center of attention.

' he's at the venue. And it's a tradition. I'm here to take you. Women, they can't be pleased" she said playfully rubbing her palm tenderly ' your hands are really soft' she commented

" I appreciate your presence. Is my mom and Louis here yet?

" They should be. C'mon, we're running late. Let's not keep the guest waiting" Bianca stated

The ladies walked out of the house then boarded the limo to the event center.

Paparazzi was prohibited at the venue, most guests came to see for themselves if he was really serious and man, not only were they surprised, they were enthralled to see his wife looking all dolled up like a model that they couldn't help themselves but went forward to congratulate her but Alvin stepped forward instead shaking hands and giving hugs. He smiled and laughed the whole time.

" Wow, Kate is finally going to be a mother," Tate said staring at Kate's bump.

" What? Am I too big there? I guess I'm having a big baby" she said rubbing it.

David saw her big bump and frowned, this wasn't what he expected. Alvin and Kate were living happily. He wasn't happy with it. He noticed Alvin's possessiveness and the way Kate looked at him like he was the only one in the world. She had the look she had two years ago. He knew her feelings for him had resurfaced.

Alvin held her waist greeting the high-ranked guest with Kate whispering to him whenever she didn't understand a thing he said, he would laugh then whispered back giving her a peck. David watched everything and smashed his glass cup on the floor. None dared to look at him cos of the aura he was emitting.

Everyone knew he was a dangerous man.

They danced mostly then refreshments were served. Gifts were presented to the parents which didn't sit too well with Alvin. They were bringing what he had bought. He trailed off to pick a microphone but Bianca stopped him ' this is how it's done. You can't return their gift. C'mon. Simon can use it all or we can give them out. You've workers right? ' he hummed sighing calmly then went to Kate's side.

Tate picked up a glass to make a toast before the games commence: hitting it with a transparent lighter' can I have your attention here? Thank you. Just take a look at the perfect couple. Aren't they lovely? Baby Simon is going to get a lot of love from me you and me. I've been praying for this day to come. Waiting for my best friend and brother to have a son since he had grown up to be a man deeming me a little boy' he chuckled as they all laughed at his jokes ' Kate, I want to say thank you for coming into his life with warmth and comfort. Thanks for proving me wrong that true love doesn't exist. I pray I find one someday. Everyone pick a glass for baby Simon' he requested as they all picked a glass of different wine except Kate who held a glass of apple juice.

"To Simon" he raised his glass then took a sip of it " and to the beautiful couple. The birth of Simon will bring peace and harmony just like it has today. The will to nurture this baby will be like a mountain that can't be moved. This baby will be loved and cherished and loved and cherished. His presence will continue to bring joy and celebration. To Simon" he finished raising his glass

' To Simon' they all said in unison about to gulp their drink then he stopped them ' and Kate I wish you a safe delivery. Alvin can take care of himself' he laughed as Alvin chuckled sipping his wine.

' let's keep the game on. Who wants to play? He asked like an MC as most boys screamed running towards the game loft.

The women surrounded Kate inquiring about Cynthia who was pissed, she was glad she wasn't the only one cos David's face was like an erupted volcano. She wondered if he was jealous of Alvin or he wanted Kate. he wasn't friends with Alvin that she knew but what could make him that angry?

Kate chatted with them telling plights of her first trimester and all. The younger girls were intrigued to hear how sweet Alvin was: running errands for her.

Naomi just sat on a bar stool eating some drumsticks. She wasn't happy about the whole thing but couldn't find a way to outwit it so she was laying low for the time being.

Kate was exhausted by the time she got home which had Alvin doing the aftermath of bathing her and preparing her for the night he had to force her to take her meds.

He was exhausted by the time he was done. 'Being a father and a husband is exhausting' he thought lying beside her.
