Kate returned home, the first thing she did was run into the bathroom to get her pills. She calculated the possibility of her getting pregnant and sighed. Unfortunately, Alvin wasn't aware of it.
But it baffled her. Why would he want children from a woman he loathes? She wouldn't give him a child regardless of his intentions. She was ready to be childless.
" What are you doing? She heard his baritone voice and flinched turning around
" You scared me. Nothing. Do you need anything? She wanted to ask why he wasn't abroad handling his numerous business like he always does. At least she'll have peace of mind.
"No. I've something for you" he stated handing her a gift box
" What for? Alvin, I don't like the way you're taking this. I'm not your sub but your wife. You married me in holy matrimony. I was a virgin when you met me. Thanks to you for stealing my heart I never thought of getting married. I want to ask you to name your price. What should I do to be free? Perhaps be treated like your wife. I noticed you want kids from me. Why? She interrogated with hands-on her waistline.
He shrugged, closed the space between them, and chuckled.
" You're amazing. My price? Humm. Perhaps you could take me to that hotel three years ago. Perhaps, stop me from transferring you to my City and yes then you will stop me from being so rational to marry someone like you. I'm sure you can do it" he encouraged grinning
" So it's my fault you deceived me? For What's worth, Cynthia is eager to take you back. It's a win-win situation. As for the kidney transplant, I'll pay for it maybe I won't after you tossed me for an entire week. Scratch that. I don't owe you anything. I don't remember asking for a transfer. Did you ask for permission? Don't blame me for your naive spirit' she spat as he growled pinning her to the wall. She winced from the pain steering through her.
" It hurts Alvin, let me go" she stated loud enough for him to retreat but he kept still peering into her eyes
" I'll not tolerate insolence from you. You better behave yourself cos I'm not letting you go no matter what. I'll like to see you try though" he yelled enough to have her shut her mouth
" Good. Now open it.' he gestured to the gift box" To answer your question. Yes, you're my sub. Deal with it. Do I want a child from you? I don't know. You're just here to warm my bed and keep the title of being my wife. " He stated
" I'm not your sub. Don't touch me again. You're unbelievable" she muttered
" Like you have a choice. Your body is mine. You lost that right the day you deceived me with it. I should have what attracted me after all. " Then a slap landed on his left cheek red and blue
Kate grimaced, shocked then stepped back from him. She was frightened.
Alvin just shrugged then walked towards her
" I swear to God Kate, do that again and I won't be so nice. Bitch" he said holding her wrist tightly
" Get out Alvin. Get out and take your cursed gift with you. I rather die than give in to you. You're going to rot in hell. Do you hear me..." She didn't finish when he grabbed her jaw forcefully daring her to cuss him one more time
" Kill me. I know you want to. Just kill me, Alvin. Do it bastard" she cussed as he gritted his teeth exercising more force. He had the urge to snap her neck.
Her whimpering was heavy as she couldn't withstand the pain. He lets her go pushing her away.
" Shut up Kate. Not one word from you or I'll cripple you may be cut off that bitchy tongue" he threatened which had her. She gulps some saliva frightened.
" Don't ever use that tone on me ever Kate. Maybe I made a mistake by coming home to you " he said angrily grabbing her hands, twirling her pinning her to the wall on her front then trapped her hands with his big palm hovering her figure then whispered " maybe you've forgotten why you're here. I've been too lenient with you. Mind yourself" he warned letting her go
Her wrists were bruised so she applied friction rubbing it continuously wiping the tears rolling down her cheeks. Alvin hissed at her actions in disgust.
" Know your place. Stop doing that. It's annoying" he yelled then left slamming the door on his way out. She squat beside the bed hugging her knees whimpering then stared at her red wrist.
Her eyes darts to the gift box and pulled it closer unwrapping it and saw a car key. She scoffed then laughed hysterically with self-pity wiggling it between her fingers. Then her phone beeped, she saw a message from Naomi.
Meanwhile, Dante was contented at what he saw. He just needed more evidence against him though he was certain the current one was enough. He closed the laptop in anger as he couldn't watch her weeping in self-guilt.
