"What the fuck is wrong with your sight".
PRESENT
I look up at him from the floor . I still can't believe it's him. I need to stop checking him out , I really look stupid while checking him out .
Lucy concentrate
I cleared my throat and got up to glare at him, how dare him insult my sight when he is also at fault . Before I could reply him, he beat me to it.
" what ? you can't talk or what. Are you stupid?" he asked with a glare
"What is wrong with you?You are at fault here coz you pushed me , dumb ass" I retort with my own best glare.
"Who did you just called dumb ass?" he looked angry already
"You of course ,who else"I smirked with folded arms. He is seriously fuming right now .
He glared at me and I also glared back, two can play the game. We were in a kind of glaring competition, i 'll not backing down because I love challenges. He backed down first anyways.
" Stupid " I muttered to him and left
He is so annoying and arrogant. I guess he is one of those guys that think they own everything.
Anyways what is he doing here? I'm sure he doesn't work here coz from the way I see it, I think he should be around my age or a year older than me.
I went to the fifth floor to meet my mum.
" Darling what took you so long" she asked with a smile as she collect the files from my hand.
I wanted to say "a stupid arrogant jerk took me long" but Instead, I said " I find it hard to get here" it was also part of the truth.
"Yes that's right. The company is so big that one can easily get lost sometimes" she said chuckling .
" Hello miss, Ruben " a man greeted mom His face looks familiar to me.
" sir, Good afternoon. I have the file here with me. " mom said
" OK, that's good and I guess this is your daughter "
" yes sir"
" young lady, how you? "
"I'm fine sir"
" Good, Let me leave the two of you to your talking " he said and entered the boardroom. He seems nice.
" Who is he mom? "
" that's my boss"
" wow, he looks nice"
" yeah is a very nice man. I need to join them now honey "

I waited for mum till they finished their meeting.

School was boring today. we had math and I hate math with passion. if I had a choice I would have dropped it.
I went to my locker to drop some books in it. I spotted Abby coming from afar with her boyfriend Manuel. They were both heading to my locker.
If you are wondering whether Abby is now dating Manuel, its true , Manuel asked Abby to be his girlfriend on their third outing and she said yes.I just hope their relationship works out well, they look cute together.
" Hey girly, how was class?" Abby asked when they reached my locker.
"Fine I guess" I shrugged.
"Hi Lucy" Manuel greeted.
"How you doing Manuel, i hope Abby is treating you right" I teased
" sure ,we are doing perfectly fine" he said and kissed her on the forehead.
"That's good to know" I'm happy for them.
He later lean to kiss Abby on the lip ,at the corner of my eye I think I saw James shooting dagger at Manuel with his eyes.
Abby and Manuel didn't notice the glare James was shooting at them. Manuel later left because he had something important to do.
" Wow you guys are so cute together. Abby, I want this relationship to last coz I'm rooting for you two" Abby shrugged
" Time will tell if we're meant to be together" said Abby, yes that's true though .
That reminds me ,I haven't told Abby about the handsome jerk I came encountered with.
" Abby I got gist for you" I said to her
" That reminds me too ,I also got gist for you too" she grinned
"Okay,you tell me yours first" I said with a smiling.
" lets go get lunch at the cafeteria and I'll tell you what the gist is all about" .
We both head to the cafeteria to get our lunch, after that we went and sit at our usual table.
" . If you could remember ,I texted you the other day that I wanted to tell you something important " Abby said
" yes I remember. That day, I went to apply for a job at Collins special "
" really? I hope you got accepted "
" of course "
" I'm happy for you " she happily said
" please continue what you were saying earlier " I said eager to hear
" OK, as I was saying, their is this new guy in my class. Lucy, this guy is so handsome "
" ehnnn, how is that my business " I said uninterested
" see this girl o, wait until you see him then you'll know what is your business "
She kept ranting on and on about how handsome he looks.
"is it someone I might know?" I curiously asked.
" Nope, I don't think you'll know him coz he look new around here" she explained while gushing.
That's my friend for you, swooning over another guy when she already have a boyfriend.
"Why are you gushing over a guy when you have a boyfriend" she shrugged at my question and said " if I see something too beautiful for the eyes, I compliment ,Even if i can't touch it" she said
" Alright ,let's talk about my own gist " I reminded
As if she was expecting me to talk ,she beam at me and listened clearly to all I just told her about the handsome jerk.
"He is a jerk, how can he insult a lady like that. But since he is handsome, I guess he want you to fall on your knees and beg for bumping into him" she joked , despite her stupid joke I laughed too.
" but, their is something I wanted asking you" I said
" what is that? "
" there is this thing that had been happening to me and I don't understand it myself"
" please stop talking in parables and just tell what it is already "
" you remember the day I broke up with Thomas? "
" yes"
" OK, two weeks after that I have been having this dream about a guy I have never seen"
" it normal to dream Lucy, that's not something bad" Abby said with a chuckle
" That's not it. The thing is this guy I've been dreaming about is the same guy I just told you about. He is the same guy I saw at Collins special "
She looked shocked" its a lie"

" I can't believe this. How is that even possible"
" I don't understand it myself" I said with a sigh
The bell rang indicating that break was over.
" we'll talk about it after class is over
