" what are you doing here?"

Linda walk to the couch to sit with cross leg.

" what? Aren't I welcome again to visit my aunt? " Linda asked, feigning innocent.

Yes, she is my cousin from my mom's side. We never get along since we were little, she is always a bitch to me and I tried as much as possible to avoid any trouble from her. She knows how to play her card well

Anytime they come visiting with her mom, I always ask myself if she usually write down the harmful thing she is going to do to me when we were little . Because, it's as if I'm her experiment . But things has change now, I always stand for myself and that always makes her angry,She think I'm still the little calm girl of all those years, she better know what's coming for her.

" to what do I owe this visit of yours" I asked in my own intimidating voice. I also walk to sit on the couch facing her with crossed leg. I put on the most precious smile I could muster, that smile always annoy her.

She smirked as if my change of attitude didn't do anything to her " well, I'm living here now"

What?!

What does she mean by she is living here now

" what do you mean? "

" Lucy dear, as I have said, I am living here now" she said with a sickly sweet smile.

" wh-at? But h-ow? What ab-out your mom?" I hate myself for stuttering right now

She smirked at my confuse face . I know she is enjoying this.

One thing I hate most about her is that we look so similar. We both have the same facial features . It's as if I'm seeing a replica of myself sitting in front of mep. It so annoying. Some people always mistook us as twins.

But, I usually have the upper hand when it come to our body. I'm curvier than she is . She is more on the skinny side.

" well, my mom now works for a company abroad and I don't wanna go with her. I decided to come here instead to finish my high school and then I can join her when I'm done. Is your question now answered? "

" whatever. As long as you don't touch my things, it's OK with me" I said. I was only acting as if her staying here doesn't bothers me,but it does, it really does. She can be a bitch and when that happens I always snap. It isn't a good sight when we fight.

Out fight is more on who is more prettier?, my boyfriend is more handsome than yours,and so many other things. Trust me, she always started it. I don't even listen to her when her madness starts and that always makes her angry.

There was a time she came visiting and at that time, Thomas and I were dating. He came to see me at home one day and it was Linda who opened the door for him. I was upstairs that day and didn't know what was going on downstairs but unfortunately a sound of something breaking got my attention. I quickly rush downstairs to see what was happening and behold what I saw was so shocking. Linda was trying hard to seduce Thomas and him being the faithful boyfriend he was tried to free himself from her. She was throwing herself at him. I shouted her name and that stop her from her stupid behavior, she turn and hiss at me then went upstairs without saying anything. She was acting as if what she did was a normal thing, she wasn't even ashamed of herself.

Thomas apologize and explain what happened to me, I forgave him. After Thomas left, I made sure to confront her and she was like the only reason why Thomas was dating me is because he want to get into my pants. She said he is to handsome to be with someone like me, a goody two shoe like me to be precise. I didn't let what she said bothers me and I replied her with ' atleast I still got a boyfriend what about you, you don't even have a permanent boyfriend who really loves you. You only are good in bed that is why they don't last' and I left her room. We haven't talk since then and now that she is back she better not try that nonsense with Ivan b'coz I swear it, I will strangle her with my two bare hands.

" why would I even need your things? , you have nothing that can entice me. " she mock " Your rags which you call clothes aren't even quarter the amount I buy my dress so keep calm I'm definitely not going to touch your things" she added with a smirk

I wish I can just strangle her now, she makes my blood boil.

" whatever. Where is my mom?" I decided to change the topic

" She went out to see one miss Carla or something "

Oh, that's Abby's mom. Now my surprise just went down the drain. I stood up and went to my room to shower, I'm all smelly b'coz of the long ride . The time is 6:00pm already, Mom should be on her way by now. I really miss her and I have to ask her why she didn't tell me about Linda staying here.

Sometime my mom just tend to hide things from me,but why?

Just forget it Lucy, when she comes back she has a lot of explaining to do ...said my subconscious.

I pull off my clothes and walk to the bathroom to have a hot and relaxing bath, I really need it. Few minutes later, I came out of the bathroom and change into my night wear.

I walk downstairs to have something to eat, I'm so famish right now. Linda is still in the sitting room typing away on her phone,

Only God knows who she is texting, I shrugged it off and went inside the kitchen . There wasn't anything cooked in there. I decided to cook some noodles since it easier and fast to prepare.

Ten minutes later,my noodles was ready. I pour it into a plates and my orange juice in hand. I went to the sitting room to eat it, who cares if Linda is there. I won't allow her to make me uncomfortable in my own house. She eyed me and my food, I also eyed her back.

She better not try me , I'd definitely put her in her place. I change the channel to a more better one while eating my food.

My phone buzz beside me, I pick it up to see who texted and behold it was Ivan.

Just checking on my girl❤. How did your mom took the surprise?

I smile at the text and replied back

Mom isn't at home. I was the one who got a surprise instead ?

Immediately, he replied back.

What happened? ❤

My crazy cousin happened. She is staying with us now. My one and only worst nemesis ?

I'm always here for you babe? Don't forget that ?❤?

I laughed out loud at his text, he is so charming. Linda was shooting dagger with her eye and I also rolled my eyes at her. I replied Ivan's text

That's why I love you❤. I miss you already

His call came through immediately. I pick it up.

" hello handsome " I added the handsome just to make Linda angry ,man was I right

" hello to you too beautiful "

" I miss you so much, ivan"

" and I thought i was the only one missing you. I hope your crazy cousin as you've said isn't much of a problem to you coz I'm ready to come over to put her in her place"

He is pulling the overprotective boyfriend card.

" You should know me by now. There isn't anything I can't handle. "

" OK love"

" so, how is everyone at home?." I asked

" they are all fine. They were so happy to see me back home especially mom and Emilia. They kept bugging me to tell them about the excursion. I might have hinted that I now have a girlfriend, and now-"

he became silent.

" and now what? "

" and now, they are eager to meet you"

What? ! This is serious. His mom wanna know me, is this a dream ?

" sweetheart? Are you there? "

" Erm, yeah.... Yeah.. I heard what you said"

" what do you think about meeting them?"

" I'll love to. I'm happy they want to meet me"

" so, when am I coming to meet your parent? "

He hasn't known yet that my dad is dead

" when mom comes back I'll tell her about us "

"OK sweetheart, I'm eager to meet the woman who gave birth to the most beautiful lady I've ever seen"

" soon"

We later talked about something else, we talk about his hobbies and so on. We might have started dating for a week now,which might seems early to some people. I'm head over heels for him,that's the truth.

We both decided to call it a night and I hanged up.

" so, Ivan right?" Linda said with a raised brow

" what happened to him or haven't you ever heard the name or haven't you seen young couples talk over the phone?" I might sound rude, I don't care. "choose "

" hey, calm your horses. I was only trying to say that you've change your boyfriend to a new one. Last I checked, you were dating Thomas or so. What might have happened to make you two separate. Oh! Don't tell me he finally cheated on you with a more better girl" she finished with a smirk

" it isn't your damn business. You jus-"

" what is happening here? "

Mom interrupted as she closed the door behind her. She look at me and then at Linda, waiting for answers.

"it nothing mom. You're back" I went forward to hug her.

" yes, silly girl. You didn't tell me you're coming back today" mom pull the angry mom's card.

" I wanted it to be a surprise but you weren't even home" I pouted

She pull me for a hug

" I miss my baby so much. I was at carla's house when Abby came in , she explained to me that you both wanted to surprise us. I took my purse and came back home immediately. Now here I come only to find you and Linda arguing about God knows what" she glared at me and then at Linda also.

" it nothing aunt, we've both cleared whatever it is we were arguing about. Right Lucy? " Linda said and look at me to answer her question.

" Erm,yeah......we've cleared it up. Everything is over now" I said with a forced smile to mom.

Mom looked unsure whether to believe us or not but nod her head nevertheless.
