Lucy's pov
Abby and Laila kept trying to cheer me up with some jokes but what they don't understand is that my only wish is to see Ivan right now.
" hey Laila are you even listening to what we've been saying " Abby asked when she noticed that I wasn't even listening to them.
Laila also turn to look at me from where she was sitting. She is the joke teller.
" Don't worry Lucy, I'm sure that Ivan just went to cool off. He'll come back to you"
" Laila, you don't know how much I wish for what you just said to be true. I just wish to see him to ask for his forgiveness . I want him to know that I'm so sorry for acting that way. " I cried out.
Abby came forward to hug me.
" oh baby girl, don't you worry. Ivan would come back sooner than you think. But still he shouldn't have left like that, what does he mean by 'I'm outta here man' . That's so rude of him"
" Abby please don't blame him, all these is my fault. I shouldn't have said all that to him, he was only trying to protect me"
" I know girl and I'm so sad right now. I wish there is something I can do for you" Abby pat my back as I continue to sob.
" OK guys I got an idea" an excited Laila blurt out. I pray it's not one of her jokes again.
Abby and I look at her to hear about the unfortunate idea that just came to her mind.
" you all know that it's time to swim right" we nodded
" why don't we go out in our bikini together and you know what that means right" she wiggled her eyebrows while waiting for us to grab what she meant. When she saw that we still don't understand, she lightly hit her forehead with her left hand.
"guys that means, all eyes would be on us . Try to think about it. If Ivan sees her" she pointed at me.
" if he sees her in her bikini from whereever it is, he is hiding at, don't you think he would come out to drag her from unwanted eyes. That would make him jealous " she explained.
" what is the essence of doing it in the first place " Abby confusely asked.
" The reason why I want us to do this is to test and see if Ivan would get jealous and if he does ,that means he still cares for her" she pointed at me.
" so, he would come out from his hide out and I'm sure he is around the water side , So you see, seeing Lucy in her bikini would drive him crazy and he won't be able to sit back and watch guys swooning over his girl. He would be the Prince Charming he his and drag her to wherever it is he wants to drag her to. From there, they can now solve there problem" she finished with a smirk. " so..... " Laila trailed off, waiting for our response.
" what do you think about my idea" Laila asked again.
Abby thought about it for some minutes and nodded her head. " I think we should try it out and if Ivan doesn't come out ,it's all on you. So now, Lucy are you in on the game or out" she looked at me for response.
Should I or not
"I'm in if it's to bring Ivan out of his hide out " I reply while looking at each one of them.
" Yay, let's get the party started "Laila happily shouted.
Already, our bikini is beneath the short and top we wore. it's only left for us to pull off our short and top.We apply a little makeup since all would wash away in the water . We finally picked a thin scarf to tie around our waist to make us look fashionable in a good way. . After we were done we all looked at ourselves in the mirror . You'd be surprised when you see us coz we look like those Victoria Secret models. We walked out of our room and closed it behind us.
" girls it time for show" Laila yelled excitedly.
I was in the middle of them.
We walk straight to the beach and on our way people were gawking at us both male and females. Some of the students are in the water swimming while some are around the area talking with friends but when they saw us all eyes was on us.
We were stopped by different guys but we didn't give them a second glance as we walk to our main target which is the water.
We catwalk to the water and seem oblivious to some whistling of guys from other schools .
" don't mind them, we are out on a mission" Laila whispered to me in particular because I was now shy of all the eyes on us.
We loose the scarf and got into the water. The whistling began to increase.
" forget about them Lucy just be yourself " scolded Abby.
I decided to be myself, we began to play with the water by throwing water at each other playfully. The guys who were previously whistling swim closer to us.
" Don't worry ,Abby and I will handle them" Laila said.
" hello beautiful" one of the guys said to Abby with a smile that shows his pearly with teeth. He is handsome
They arr three in number .
The other went to Laila and the last one was trying to swim to my place when a voice stopped him.
" Don't even think about it, buddy" Ivan voice roared at the guy who was trying to come at me.
Ivan enter into the water and swim over to me. He wrap his hands around my waist and look at the guy.
" SHE IS MINE" he roared and I almost melted .
Abby and Laila were doing the kisses face at me. The both thumb up, indicating a job well done.
Ivan look at me and said " sweetheart let's get outta here " I eagerly nodded at him and waved at a smirking Abby and laila
