Ivan gave him another punch in the face, which would definitely bruise.

" if you ever say something like that about her I'd make sure you land in a hospital " he  roared and starts to pick his bag from the ground.

He stood up to leave but unfortunately met my shocked eyes among the crowd and he quickly walk away.

I can't believe this, Ivan defend me. I was still in my state of shock that I didn't even feel Abby and Laila's gaze on me.

Does that mean Ivan also likes me?

" I think you should follow him" Abby happily suggested which I also agreed with her and ran after Ivan.

I kept fastening my pace as I run after him I don't care about the people watching .

What I want now is to talk to Ivan, yes I need to do this for myself.

I saw someone like Ivan resting on the wall

" Ivan? " I called out unsure if he is the one. He turned and when he saw that I was the one ,he looked  surprised.

" you followed me? " he asked in surprise while  I nodded with a smile.

" Lucy, I'm sorry about what happened back there I was only-" I moved forward and kissed him on the lips before he finished what he was saying.

He saw that I didn't pull away, he drew me closer and deepen the kiss. He tasted like mint and I love it.

We decided to end the kiss because we need  to breath. I can't believe that this just happened.

I smiled at him and he did same.

" OK, I have a confession to make " i smiled as I said this.

" OK the truth is, Ivan I-" I  was cut off by Ivan's lips this time. He pull away from the kiss and he shushed me.

" I think I have an idea of what you're about to say. I thought girls love it  when a guy propose  first" he jokingly said while i pouted.

He went down on his right knee and held my left hand. What is he trying to do

He cleared his throat and looked me in the eyes" Lucy, I think I'm falling for you,

" No, I don't think, I know I like you. Anytime I see your beautiful face around class ,I just wish I could call you mine. I know I got no flowers with me right now but I promise to give you bunch of them later. Please Lucy,   would you please save my poor heart from this torture by becoming my girlfriend "

I giggled , it was funny seeing Ivan kneeling before me.

" yes Ivan, I'd definitely love to be your girlfriend " I said out loud , he is so charming. I know it might look too soon to some people but what I believe in is that when you like someone and you most definitely know that he likes you too, you don't need to prolong giving yourself a title.

"But" he looked nervous when I said this.

" please tell me whatever you want and I'd do it for you" he nervously said.

" you have to treat me out on a date first" he looked relieved.

" I'd do anything you want,if I have to take you to the moon and back, I'd surely do that. That is to show you how much you mean to me" I shyly awed.

Ivan got up from the ground and I pull him for a mind blowing kiss.

We both smiled at each other as we pull away from the kiss.

" I can't believe it ,this feel surreal  to me. " i said in amazement " so I'm now your girlfriend? "  I surprisingly asked and he nodded.

" A while ago I was jealous of seeing you flirting with Laila ,yes don't look at me like that. I admit , I was seriously jealous a while  ago and when you had that fight with Thomas  I was so happy that you defended me from him. My subconscious keeps telling me to speak out my feelings but I couldn't "

" so the fight was a booster? " he jokingly asked

" yes, you can say so"

" so tell me something Mr, when did you starts to have feelings for me coz last I checked you always bully me around classes this past few days"  We pulled away from the embrace and walked to the bench close to us.

He sat on it and pulled me on lap . I tried escaping his hold, but he wouldn't budge. I gave up and sat on my laps as he embraced me from the back.

" This crush I have for you started the first day I met you in school. Which was in biology class . I still remember that day ,when you saw me you were furious and angry at seeing me and I admired the fire in you. Then and there I knew you don't take shit" I confess to her

" really? " a surprised me asked while he nodded with a smile.

" but-bu-t you never showed it, you are always brooding at me or giving me the cold shoulder " i was amazed at this new info

" That was all an act"

" but why? "

" You remind me of someone and at that time, I was trying to forget that person. Then you came into the picture, I was preventing my heart from breaking for the second time"

" who is this someone " i asked.

" my ex" he said the word.  i saw that it was a serious matter, so we end the conversation there.

We heard the bell rings , we walked to the school assembly together. Students were giving curious at us because we were walking hand in hand.

The principal announced that it was time to leave for the " LOVE BEACH". We all went to gather by the school bus.

I told Ivan ,I wanna sit with my friends. He agreed and released his hold on my hand and pecked me on the lips.

I walk to a happy Abby and a surprise Laila.

" aww, you guys look good together, you should have seen Thomas face. He looks like he want to strangle Ivan" Abby excitedly uttered .

I laughed at her and turn to a still surprised Laila. She blinked her eyelashes several time before coming out of the shock.

" you liked Ivan all this while? " Laila was surprised and I nod at her.

" yes girl, Ivan was the 'handsome jerk'she has a crush on" Abby said and put more emphasis on the handsome jerk part.

We all entered the school bus and few minutes later we started our journey to the "love beach".

Lucy's pov

The school bus came to a stop at the entrance to the love beach, we all came down from the bus and our supervisors directed us all to were we would all spend the night. The environment is quiet and reserve,only few people were at the beach cos it was already late.

We all trailed behind our supervisors, the females were guided by a female supervisor while the males were guided by a male supervisor. Although, the male hostel isn't far from the female hostel ,it's just a few minutes walk.

" OK girls, we've come to a stop now. This is where you'll all be spending the night. Feel free to choose which ever room you want and dinner would be sent to  your room cos it's late. But from tomorrow you'll all be having your food in the dinning room which is not far from here. Make sure to lock your doors before sleeping and don't think of inviting the guys into your room" our supervisor instructed.

" if you have any further complains,questions or problems you can call the telephone in your room. Each room have a telephone in it, make sure you use it when important "

" You may all go in and settle" our female supervisors said. We all walked into the hostel to pick out the room which we want to settle in.

Abby, Laila and I  , settle in the same room. We are lucky cos the room has a nice view outside the window.The room contains, three mattress, a big locker, a standing mirror, a drawer, a joint bathroom and a lamb and telephone on top of the nightstand.

We all arranged our traveling bags at the corner of the small room.

" this place look a little comfy, at least we have a mattress each"abby pointed out

" yes you're right" replied Laila.

We all sat on each of our mattress while looking round the small room.

" But what if I wanna drink water in the middle of the night, y'all know that I love drinking water. There isn't any bottle water in the room" I said while Abby looks at me like I was a psycho.

" what?  What I said is true so don't give me that look "

" I always wonder which planet you came from with the way you love drinking water"  Abby hissed with a slight shake of head.

" you know she's right though, there isn't an ounce of water in the room. Do they want us to die of taste" Laila agreed with me.

" you two are something else, have you forgotten what the instructor said, she said dinner would be brought to our room which also includes water also. Water would be brought along with the food guys. So stop insinuating things" said abby with a scoff.

We changed the topic to a different one. We talked about Abby's boyfriend Manuel. He plans to take her on a date after this excursion.
