Chapter 30: Chapter 30

Other's pov:

It was proudest moment for him as it's the first match he won after marriage and in front of his other half. He was proud was able to give something more precious to his wife. Yes, he thought of dedicating his victory to Anvitha.

In spite of being disappointed with the fact she didn't give much attention to the match once Kishore had come, couldn't help as his eyes betrayed him by searching for her but found none.

The anger he tried to subside started resurfacing. He could see his friends and ex-girlfriends but not the person he desire to be. With the trophy in hand he left the stadium like raging bull.

Anvitha wanted to crush him in deep hug but she tied herself cause last time rejection has still imprinted at her face and she doesn't want the history to repeat itself. She saw him dash out of the stadium and she wondered what has got in him? Nevertheless she left to seek him with John and Ricky trailing behind her and Kishore left as work called him telling her that he would meet him at their place.

Once out, she saw him in between his ex's. She felt a strange pinch in her heart shrugged off thinking it might be gastric, secretly she knew the reason but too scared to accept it. She shook her head and raised. Their eyes locked. She could see anger swimming in the pool of his eyes.

"OH! BABY! YOU WERE GOOD THERE, LIKE ALWAYS. YOU ALWAYS MAKE MY HEART FLUTTER FOR YOU"

She saw Anaya hug him and plant a kiss on his cheek shamelessly right in front of his wife but she stood clueless.

Anvitha cringed internally but she had no emotion shown on her face.

Sagar purposefully let Anaya come close to him to take revenge but it backfired as she stood there unaffected.

Everyone one by one started congratulations him in their way with a hug and kiss lingering on his cheek more than required as they stood looking deep in to each other eyes. Him challenging her to take some actions....her, challenging him to stoop too low in her eyes. It was killing her inside to stand there like zombie but what can she do other than that?

Finally her turn to congratulate him occurred. She moved front and raised her hand for a shake with smile as she mustered all along the time.

"Congratulations"

She...

was again....left hanging.

"Let's go girls. We got to party hard and wild" he turned his back towards her, his arm clunged around their waist tightly and left in his car not even glancing back.

She felt sick looking at him leave her for other girls.

Tanya, Anaya and Ria other girls had victory smirk plastered on their face while they were leaving.

She felt humiliated...used..looked down...what not.

She stood there under the twinkling stars which trying to envelope in to hug to soothe her bleeding heart from their bright light but even it knows their light is from the other planet and realised her light to brighten her up is him.

She didn't calculate the amount of time she stood there in the cool breeze shivering badly until John and Ricky covered her with something warm, she came to her sense.

"Let's get going, it's freezing outside." She meekly nodded her head.

"Wipe you tears, Ma'am. Someone might think we snatched your chocolates" John said to lighten the mood and he was successful as Anvitha laughed a bit wiping her tears carelessly with the cloth they covered with making Ricky cringe as it is his jacket. John laughed internally looking at his face.

Anvitha looked over her shoulder and found Ricky eyes on the coat where she had rubbed her nose. She saw John controlling laughter. That's when she realised her mistake. Immediately, she removed the coat and placed it on Ricky hand which he held with two fingers.... that too the other end and had a terrified look.

"I'm so sorry. I should not have wiped my nose in your coat. I will wash it up for you" She said snatching back. Up until he looked like he held a snake and once she took it back he calmed a bit.

If it was in other situation , she would have laughed her ass off rolling on television flood.

Her eyes again drifted back to the place from where the car left.

"You okay?" A slight touch on her shoulder broke the emotions.

I'm not ok...in fact I'm feeling terrible...

She wanted to shout but kept quite.

She might shout to the world, she is okay but she couldn't change her heart which is not at all at peace.

Her husband left with many girls God knows where leaving her behind. How can someone expects her to be OK?

She is surprised with the fact, just a relation attached with no sting can create a emotional bond between them. As they had never spent time together, she couldn't believe her heart bleed at the thought of him leaving her... for other.... with others.

Unexpectedly a feeling for him has bloomed in her heart. She couldn't accept it and she couldn't neglect it.

They drove back to home. She was engulfed by darkness as she entered the house. Oddly, she compared it with her life. She shook her head to stop from thinking negative and moved in the dark to kitchen to fetch water. Her eyes fell on the lonely soul.

Barky, sat there in the dark facing garden. Barky didn't even turn as she stepped towards it. Her steps could be heard but he didn't turn or attack her.

From the view she could tell it's sad.

She could feel his feeling as she was there....being ABANDONED ....

'THE WORST AND SADDEST FEELING ONE CAN GO THROUGH IS NOT BEING LONELY, BUT ABANDONED AND FORGOTTEN BY THE ONE YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN OR ABANDONED.'

She went and sat next to barky this time close unlike last time. Few minutes passed both sat silent feeling the unsaid condolence.

You know, even the silent gives you headache.

Anvitha couldn't sit there seeing the sulking barky as she had always witnessed the opposite to it. So she thought of making conversation with Barky.

"Had your food, my sweetie pie?" Last part she said with extra sweetness dipping each word. Barky just looked at her through 'are-you-serious' look. Her stupid brain realised that she forgot to place the food.

She gave barky a sheepish smile and hurried inside the kitchen in search of barky food. Once got she filled it in a bowl and placed in front of it.

Slowly, the barky made its way to the bowl and munched on the food. She didn't realised what had got to her as she brushed it's head while eating surprising both barky and herself.

Her stomach grumbled, that's when she realised she had nothing post breakfast. She thought of feeding barky first and fill her stomach next.

"Come, I'll tuck you to sleep" she said once the barky finished his food.

"Where is your room?" She asked looking around. Barky just lay on the carpet sprawled in the hall and closed it's eyes.

She realised that barky has no room to sleep in. Her anger made it's entry. She isn't someone to get angry on pity things but here the things are beyond to be neglected.

To start with, Sagar just bought the dog and left him alone all the time where the dog is so loyal to him and loves him a lot. As far as she noticed, barky gets happy just for a mere attention from Sagar and he never had time to look at it.

Secondly, he doesn't freaking feed it on time and provide the comfort which any living creature deserves.

From this she can tell how self-centred he is.

She isn't someone to leave Barky unwanted, unattended.

An idea stuck at her.

She rushed to his room and changed in to pyjamas and collected her clutch and returned to Barky.

She told the barky to wait for her and stay awake, with that she left in hurry. Barky looked over her once she moved past her curiously with ears perched upwards.

She stepped out of the house and found John and Ricky at the two sides of the door.

Great!

"Let's go" She held both of their arms and pulled them with her.

"Wait, where are we going? " Ricky asked surprised at her sudden stunt.

"Shopping" she said looking all excited.

"At this hour?" Came his annoying reply.

" Shopping,? Wow! Let's go to orion mall then" John said matching her excitement. Ricky looked over John in unbelievable manner while he shrugged off.

"Perfect. Let's not waste the time. It's already late" said Anvitha completely avoiding Ricky as she know he would he against to it. So she thought it's better to drag him without looking at his side.

Soon they were on the road with Ricky and John in the front and Anvitha took the whole backside.

"What do you want to shop?" Came Ricky curious voice from the front.

"A dog house and some decorative items" Anvitha excitement has reached to level of a kid.

"For barky?" She bobbed her head excitedly, for a fraction of second Ricky thought she might be a kid.

"You know Barky has no room to sleep and I thought of gifting him one to cheer up his sulking self" Ricky and John looked at each other and over her for being so thoughtful.

"You know, it's boss dog. So let him take care of it. Why are you worrying about it?" Ricky wanted to why she is doing so much... to just a dog.

"Me or he doesn't matter. It's our duty to make sure, everyone is comfortable around us, provide them needed basic requirement. So I'm providing it" Ricky and John were surprised by her thoughtfulness. Their perception over her increased in good way.

As soon as the car stopped both Anvitha and John jumped out of the dark leaving behind Ricky to park the car, pretending to forget him.

"Stop. Are you going in like this." Ricky told Anvitha by looking at her attire.

"Why? What is wrong?" John could feel what was coming but as usual, his detective side shut him up to listen to her reply.

"You cannot go like this. Sir has image. He will get mad at you in the end." He said every word seriously. Anvitha looked over her pajamas, it looked good to her. She remembered Sagar shouting at her for the way of dressing sense. She doesn't want to change for anyone. She lived like this for 25 years and she doesn't want to change herself....for him.

"Let him maintain his image. Let me handle mine. Come let's go" she interlocked her arm with John and pulled him inside. Ricky closed his eyes as he knew what would come next. He can protect Anvitha from others but he knows he cannot protect her from Sagar. Can he? Sighing he followed them who looked no less than a kid. Running here and there, dropping things, laughing loudly, whining and what not?

After what felt like one hour, the shopping success finished.

Who is kidding?

Anvitha again rushed inside to get toy of dog as a partner leaving John and Ricky in the car.

Anvitha got confused with no of collections. She wanted to finish it fast and buy a cute dog but her mind was telling her to buy every toy. She stood there contemplating which to buy and heard a baby cry. She looked around and found no one but only her in the whole floor. She just shrugged it off thinking she heard wrong. But again after few seconds she heard sobbing so near to her.

Alarmed, she looked keenly around her and found no one. Her heart raised it's beat thinking of all the worst possibility. She inched closer to the spot from where the noise is coming and hurriedly removed all the toys.

Her hand worked faster hoping nothing had happened to the baby as she heard the baby cry inside the load of toys.

Her heart cried looking at the girl red face from suffocating too long. Hurriedly, she picked the toddler out of the toys and held securely in her arms. Anvitha rubbed the toddler back in soothing manner.

"Mummmmmaaammmmmaaa"toddler was crying continuously taking deep breaths.

"It's ok we will go to mumma. Don't cry...hmm" she told soothing and hurried out of the shop for fresh air. Her eyes scanned to find someone or anyone who might be searching for baby but found none.

How do I find her mother? I don't even know whose the kid is?

"Mummmmmaaammmmmaaa"toddler started to whine even more as the time ticked.

"What is your mumma name?" She tried to get any clue.

" mumma...Disha mumma" she felt curious. She wanted to get information more to find her mumma and handover safely.

A thought stuck in her mind.

"Do you know your mumma mobile number?" She asked patiently but one could feel the desperation in her voice.

"She...gave me molile" toddler searched in her pocket and digged the phone and streched her hand to show the mobile to Anvitha. She took the mobile hastily from her hand. She held the toddler with left hand while the toddler was busy rubbing her nose with hand looking cute.

Anvitha couldn't help even in that situation she felt the toddler cute. She felt a strange anticipation to protect this child from the world.

She looked so innocent to this cruel world.

She unlocked the phone hoping to find any clue but left her staggered.
