Madison POV

It’s morning and Krystal already prepared for the day and left. I would be going to work later today, now I have to go to Zach and tell him about Kingsley.

I step out of my bathroom and walk to the dressing table to get dressed as fast as possible. Today, I would be working with time.

I walk to my closet and pick out one of the dresses his aunt gave to me and wore them on as I walk back to my dressing table to use my body spray and perfumes.

I need to smell extra good.

I did a little makeup then stepped out of my room with my car key in my hand and my phone in my other hand.

As soon as I got to the living room, I was about making a turn to the door but turned around to the kitchen to get myself something at least to eat this morning.

I walk into the kitchen and pull the fridge open to see a bottle of yoghurt smiling at me, I pulled it out and made parfait immediately since I have other ingredients around.

I was done in less than 20 minutes then step out of the kitchen after eating as I made my way to the door after switching off the lights, a door knock interrupted me.

I turned around, I am not expecting a visitor.

I pick up my bag as I walk to the door to also leave. Opening the door, I saw Kingsley standing before me with an expression I can’t read.

“What?” I ask coldly and step out of my house, locking the door behind me as I walk to my car parked.

“Madison, we need to talk.” He said, His voice low and demanding.

“Oh, why? after you and your people almost killed Krystal?” I scoffed

“That is why I am here too, Madison you need to understand my actions are all because I am trying to protect you.” He said but I acted deaf and walk to my car, opening the doors after pushing the button on the car remote.

“Kingsley just leave me alone, would you?”

“I will, you just have to cut your ties with Zach. Greg would only want to hurt you.” He groaned as he followed me behind.

“Are you the good guy now?” I ask as I turn to look at him with a carved brow.

“I’ll tell you this straight, I prefer being with Zach to being with you. You make my everyday life scary now Kingsley and it’s all thanks to you and Greg that I am even scared of being in my own house.” I fired at him

“Where have you been? a month and few weeks?”

“I am not dumb, won’t answer that question.” I said as I turn around to walk into my car.

“You better go and cut ties with Greg now, rather than advising me to cut ties with someone I love. Even Krystal loves someone else.” I said to him

“I am over Krystal now, I know she is with Adrian.” He said beside me and I roll my eyes.

“Thank goodness, so who are you with now?” I sarcastically asked

“Madison, I am bisexual.” He said and I turn to him with a ‘wtf’ face

“Since when? So, you have a guy lover now?” I asked, clearly surprised.

“That doesn’t matter, just listen to me.”

“I have somewhere else to go.” I replied as I ignite my engine and drove away without waiting for his next statement.

Few hours later

Zach POV

Since I am back to LA, I decided to resume business.

Madison would be in my mansion in no time so I need to do one or two things before she gets here. A knock was heard on the door and I raised my head up, “Come in.” I said, my voice low and rumbling.

Two of my men stepped in with an unreadable look on their face, “Boss, you need to see this.” One of them said as he walks closer to my table with an envelope in his hands.

I hesitated for a moment before I emptied the content on my table and saw it was photos of Madison.

Not just Madison, but Madison together with Kingsley.

“What is it big bro?” Zane asked seated on one of the couches.

“Where did you get these photos?” I ask

“I have been trailing her since when you asked me to and I found her with him, also earlier this morning.” He replied and I shook my head in disbelief.

Adrian got up from his seat as he walks to my table and takes the photo in my hand too, “He was also with Krystal?” he gasps but I said nothing.

I clenched my jaw and my fist, anger boiling in me.

“What is her relationship with him?”

“He is her cousin boss.” He replied and I scoffed

“Interesting, I need to see Madison.”

Madison POV

The car pulled away in Zach’s mansion, I parked my car then step out to make my way into the mansion. His men around could recognize me and bowed their heads lowly as I made my way in.

I am really nervous; I have no idea of how he would react after I tell him. I need to still, even if he might get mad. I know he can never hate me.

I step into the living room and saw Zach making his way down the stairs with no facial expression on his face.

Adrian and the res followed him behind and sat down while I remained standing, staring at them confusedly.

“Zach, are you okay?” I ask lowly and he looks at me with an unreadable look.

“Hmmm, you are here. I was about coming for you.” He said, his face is making me more nervous.

“I need to talk to you.” I managed to say

“No, I need to talk to you Madison.” He said as he stood up from the couch and grabs a paper from one of his men standing beside him.

“This guy, you know him?” he asks, stretching a picture of Kingsley before me. My lips slowly parted, “I was coming to tell you.” I said immediately

“Yes or no??” he yelled

“Yes, I do. He is my cousin. Satisfied now??” I yelled back and he shook his head with a disappointed look on his face.

“Madison, how could you do this?”

“How long did you plan to hide it?” Zane asked, clearly hurt.

“I never wanted to; I was coming to tell you. Krystal too, I didn’t want you to find out before I tell you but now you have. I am really sorry.” I said, my voice barely above a whisper

“You know this guy all these while and said nothing until today?” Liam butts in

“This is why I don’t like women.” He added but I ignore him

“You know how this guy here has been a pain in my ass!”

“You know how brutal he is!”

“I never knew any Zach, I was being deceived and when I found out it was my cousin doing all these to you, I asked for space!”

“I couldn’t approach you, I know how much you hate him and can kill him. I was really mad at what he did to you and the rest of you, still I didn’t want him to die. He is the only family I have Zach” I cried out

“You have an idea of how much courage it took me to step out of my house to come to you today??”

“Of course, you can go ahead and hate me, I deserve it. But just know I never intend to hurt you, any of you. I was also thinking about myself and that is something you all would have done too if you were in my shoes.”
