Zach POV

Madison fell in my hands unconscious. I had no other way to shut her up than to do that.

“Liam, take her home while I finish this up with Adrian.” I said to him and he walked to me to carry her away.

“Take good care of her, you know I don’t joke with what's mine.” I said with a cocky side smile. He lifted her to the car and laid her down at the back seat while he sat in the driver seat to drive.

“Why would she think its nice to walk alone by this hour of the night.” Adrian laughed lowly beside me and I gave him a warning look.

“Sorry dude.” He laughs lowly and turned to the guy we were dealing with before Madison interrupted us.

“There you are, still laying half dead and half alive, why don’t we just end you?” Adrian asked him. He is one of Greg's men and Greg sent him to spy on us, how pathetic.

“I’ll finish this man.” Adrian winks at me and I shrug

“He’s all yours.” I chuckle.

Maybe this is when I will have Madison back, although drugging her wasn’t a good option. She will understand, just maybe.

THE NEXT MORNING

Madison POV

My eyes lift open despite how heavy they felt. I felt the white silk sheet that is laid on top of me and immediately, I realized this is not my room.

My bed sheets are purple and not white, I sat up on the bed with my hair all over my face. My eyes are wide open as I look around the room, “Where am i?” I ask myself lowly.

Last night came rushing back to my head, I remember walking back home, the alleyway, Adrian, Liam, Zach, and the handkerchief he wrapped around my nose.

“That!!” I exclaimed as I grabbed my head with both of my hands and groaned aloud, “Ugh!”.

I jump down from the bed and ran to the door banging it countless times, my fist went against the door hardly and frantically, I tried to open it even though it is locked.

“Ugh!!”

“HEY!!” I yelled banging it again

“Could you please let me out of this goddamn room??” I demanded and in less than a minute, the door flung open revealing Zane with a bright smile on his face.

“Oh, Zane.” I paused as I blink rapidly

“Good morning beauty, how was your night? I don’t need to ask, you slept well and I know.” He smiled. I have no idea how him and Zach are brothers, they are the complete opposite of each other. Even though at times, it is supposed to be so.

"Yeah, uh g-good morning, Zane.” I stutter.

“It’s breakfast time. Trust me Madison, you wouldn’t want to miss our five-star meals” he said with an assuring smile as he crossed his hands around my shoulder and pulled me out of the room.

Well, I do not blame him. Zane is taller than I am despite his age. What a good thing ~

He walks me out of the hallway down the stairs to a big and fancy dining room where I met Liam, Adrian and Zach seated on the table. Zach is seated at the head of the table with a magazine in his hand and a stick of cigar in his hands. Well, the rest of his members are also holding magazines.

Zane pulled me to seat after pulling a chair for me to seat directly opposite Zach.

I raised my head up and saw a wall clock hung on the wall, my eyes went wide immediately I saw the time.

It is minutes past 10, I am supposed to be at work 4 hours ago.

Adrian put down his magazine and turned to me with a wink, I blink rapidly at him and looked away at Liam who also placed down his magazine and smiled at me.

Now, Zach is the only one acting like I am not here. Is he trying to ignore my presence??

Zane walks back to me with a cup of coffee in his hands, milky coffee, just the way I love my morning coffee.

“Long time no see” Zach finally speaks up with an emotionless tone, not making any eye contact with me.

“Good, may I go now?” I ask impatiently, Dr. Melvin would kill me if I even go. I mean this is more than late. Zach sets down his magazine and got up from his seat as he walked to me and pulls out my phone from his pocket, handling it to me.

“Call that doctor of yours and tell him you won’t be coming today, not this week either” he said and I scoffed with a carved brow

“Can you hear yourself?”

“I am a doctor and I have patients to attend to, why would I tell Melvin that?” I added and he said nothing but to stare at me blankly.

“Madison…” he called out

“Yes Zach?” I scoffed and checked my phone to see he even placed it on airplane mode and I turn it off immediately.

“That won’t be happening, I have to be in the hospital and you need to leave me, how simple!” I sighed.

He smirks at me and takes slow steps to me. As soon as I saw that, I got up from my seat and walk backwards and my back hits the wall. He had a cocky smile on his face as he closed the gap between us, I could feel his soft breath against my face and his cold blue eyes staring into mine.

I gasp as he lifts me onto a table beside the small wine cellar and stood between my thighs, my legs automatically wrapped around his waist and my eyes went wide.

His fingers move the hair away from my face behind my ear and he rubbed his thumb on my cheekbone.

“How was your space?” he asks me.

“You drugged me and kidnapped me, mister!” I scoffed as I shove him away and jumped down the table to walk away.

“You witnessed something you shouldn’t have; I couldn’t let you go like that. Besides you hit your head pretty hard. If I wasn’t there who would have taken you away if you fainted?” he asks and I roll my eyes.

“Quit rolling your eyes and do as you are told.” He said in a demanding voice and I end up texting Krystal I wouldn’t be around this week that I am pretty sick and she should help me tell Dr. Melvin.

I am sure after she does, he would call me to hear from me.

I slid my phone into my pocket as soon as I was done and glared ay Zach, “Good girl.” He smiled and I roll my eyes, again.

“Now we have some things to discuss.” Zach said as he tucks his hands into his suit. Will he ever not look handsome?

He is dressed in a grey suit looks manly hot. I must say, Zach is really a hot one.

“What could we possibly talk about?” I asked after blinking rapidly

“You disappeared for a month, how was your space doctor?” he asked and I roll my tongue in my mouth.

I must have treated him terribly; it shocks me he still wants to put up with me.

“It was good, I had enough time to think.” I replied with a shrug and he scoffed.

“Yeah, it is obvious you found out you needed me, and I will not listen to you deny it.” He said with a smirk

“What? I am going to deny this young man.” I exclaimed

“Go get ready, we are going out. I won’t bicker with you” he chuckles as he walked away to sit on a couch and crossed his legs.

“To where?” I asked with a ‘duh’ facial expression.

“Italy”
