Cindy opened the door and looked around.
It was dark already and the crickets were making their annoying noise already.
She made to close it when she saw someone sleeping against the doorpost.
"Oh my God!".
She looked at her face and it was Kapella.
"It's been hours, I thought she left already".
She carried her in a bridal style and left for her room.

Kapella yawned loudly as she woke due to the sun rays that pierced into her eyes.
She opened her them and jolt up discovering that it wasn't her room.
She sighed seeing it was Cindy's.
She made to carry her phone on the cabinet when she saw a piece of paper on it.
She took and opened it quickly.
"I've gone to school already, freshen up, there's food in the kitchen and avoid my brother, don't cause more damage to him".
"How can she go without me?".
Kapella quickly called Mrs. Elijah and cleared her throat.
"Hey Mom can you bring my bag to school when going to work, I'll go to school from Cindy's place".

Mrs. Elijah could be seen leaning against her Dodge Viper GTS at the entrance as she constantly checked her watch.
Shortly a cab stopped in front of the school and Kapella hurried out.
"Sorry mom, I never meant to keep you waiting".
"It's alright". She said handing over her bag and a thermos flask.
"I hope you eat well".
"Yeah, Cindy treats me well as usual".
"Alright then, I'll be on my way ". She said and drove off.
Almost immediately a Limousine halt where the car had left and she turned to leave.
She was shocked to see Lovely getting down from it.
She quickly hurried off but paused as he called her name.
He approached her full of smiles but she stood still.
"Hi, are you running from me?". He asked.
"Not really, I, you know, gotta go". She mumbled and took off.
"What's wrong with her?".
"Kapella!". He called out running after her.
Kapella almost bumped into Cindy and they paused.
"Hey". She said smiling but Cindy kept a straight face.
"I don't believe in Witches, Kapella but my brother can't remember he took your bracelet or that you even came to the house". Cindy said and she sighed.
"Kapella!". She heard her name and raced off immediately.
Lovely came running to Cindy and stood akimbo.
"Hey Cindy, where's your friend, she's acting weird".
"Why do I care?". She replied walking away.
"What's damn wrong with you girls?".
A man in black walked up to him with his bag.
"Boss".
"The letter I gave you did...You know what, forget it". He cursed and saw Nancy.
"Hey Nan".
"And what do I owe the greeting?".
"I know we've not been in speaking terms but what's going on, Kapella running away from me and Cindy seems not to care, I don't even understand".
"I don't know as well, before the flood happened, Kapella called me a lier and since that time she is avoiding me like a plague, like an enemy and Cindy doesn't want to talk about it like she has a beef with her ".
" I thought their best of friends ".
" Friends also have their conflict Lovely, I don't know but students says she had some talk with your brother before leaving the Cafeteria angrily yesterday and that was before she called me a lier, I don't have a beef with him so I don't understand what he told her about me ".
" Finn? ".
" No, Diaz, students says she was angrily that her punch on his table cracked it, I'm late for my class, Lovely ".
" Alright thanks ". He inhaled and turned to the guard.
" Stop following around and put my bag in the class".
"Yes boss". He bowed and left.
"Diaz". Lovely breath and called Ashley with his device.
"Wow!, I'm gonna screenshot this call, print and laminate it, it's been almost a year since you..".
"Just shut up and answer me, Where's Diaz?".
"Did he report you to mom again?".
"Where's he?". He roared.
"We're at the pool room".
He disconnected the call and head there angrily.
He kicked open the door and they turned to him.
They were eating around a table while the students swam in the pool.
"Would you love to join us?". Ashley asked.
"What the hell did you do to Kapella?". He asked angrily.
"What are you talking about?".He asked.
"Answer me". He roared drawing the attention of the students all around.
"You're causing a scene Candy". Ashley cautioned.
"Start speaking". Lovely raged at Diaz but Finn held him.
"Easy bro, do you have to fight always?".
"Stay out of this, Finn". He cursed and Finn let go
"What I did to her?, Maybe we had a nice time in your bedroom while you were gone". He said with a mocking smile.
Lovely punched his face angrily and Diaz attacked with a punch on his face causing the students to gasp.
"Stop the madness".
"Stay out of my way Ash, don't act like you ain't with him". Lovely fired.
"If I tell you what he did, will you do anything I ask?". She whispered.
"You're grown into a good scammer, sister". Diaz compliment and she scoffed.
"You think I don't know, First your dear letter didn't get to her brother, Diaz hijacked the driver and burnt it".
Lovely eyes filled with tears as he made to grab Diaz but Ashley pushed him back.
"Patience for part two but to unlock it, you're gonna give me anything I ask". She said with an evil smile.
Kapella was walking down the hallway when she ran into Lovely's guard.
"Kapella Elijah".
"That's right and your dresssing you're.....".
"A guard at the Arrowood Mansion also personal guard of the Arrowood Kids".
"Um... I hope am safe".
"I just thought it important to tell you, Boss Candy sent me to deliver a letter to you before he traveled yesterday but his brother seized it from me and burnt it".
"Oh my.. Well its past already so I got a class...". She said wanting to walk away but paused.
"Do you happened to know who he traveled with?". She asked.
"His Family".
"Just family, no girlfriend". She asked and he scoffed.
"Boss Candy doesn't have one yet".
"Really?".
"Yes, I shouldn't be telling you this but for the fact he sent letter to you which is unusual of him, I'm afraid you might have to keep low ground miss, Dahlia is a jealous type ".
" Dahlia? ".
" Yes. His step sister, first child of the Arrowood ".
" And please miss tell no one I told you this, I'm just trying to prevent you from becoming one of her victims ".
He bowed and walked away with Candy's bag.
" Dahlia ". Kapella mumbled and remembered the status Diaz showed her.
The contact who uploaded it was Dahlia.
She gasped realizing that Diaz had tricked her.
" The Arrowood brothers are fighting ". She heard the students say as they trooped by in their numbers.
"What do you want?". He asked.
"Kapella is for me and me alone, you'll make sure you and your brothers keep to it".
"Bullshit!, Get out of my way!". He cursed.
"Fine, Five IPhone 13 and you'll take me out to the Boutique". She smirked.
"Speak".
"Don't do it Ashley, I can do that for you". Diaz begged grabbing her arm.
She broke free and moved from him.
"Maybe all I need is an alliance with someone Dahlia loves the most and then get some crumb of benefit, I'm Ashley, a lone girl, I don't pick sides, I go for the highest bidder". She chuckled.
The students stood in amazement as they watched the drama like a live show.
"Let's say I had my spy on Diaz who says he showed Kapella the status of a contact Dahlia on Whatsapp, our sister and I guess you've seen all her status, he made her believe Dahlia and Roxy are your girlfriends, that you're some playboy in disguise, you're a bad person and every possible evil you could think of, I heard she cried, aww ".
Tears were already dropping from Lovely's eyes as he tighten his fist.
" You're literally crying because of some nutshell girl, I guess I see why you'll always be Momma's pet ". Diaz grinned.
Lovely rushed at him angrily but he blocked his punch and kicked his stomach.
He reacted as he headbutt Diaz face and kicked him to the ground.
" Excuse me please! ". Kapella begged breaking through the crowd hurriedly.
Diaz rolled off escaping Lovely's punch.
He grabbed his neck swiftly and Lovely grabbed his collar.
"Stop!". Kapella screamed but it was a second late as they pushed themselves to the left and crashed heavily into the pool causing the waters to splash up.
