" Today, I won't be dropping just one body but ten, damn ten all because you can't answer just one question, you think you're gonna escape like those ten, never gonna happen, we've gotten three already and surely get the rest". Mrs. Arrowood said and picked an ax.
She dipped it into a bucket of salt and raised it out, I've granted you a merciful death for a while now but we're moving to the next stage, I cut the legs and the salts eat into it, then the hand, the stomach for the bowels to gush out and then a final touch to the head, I hope you're imagining it right now, how horrific but you save yourself, just the name of one stupid Mermaid, that's all ". She said and paused.
" No response, very well, I've killed the young for a while, let's move to old ". She said as she moved to a woman with grey hair.
" With so much displeasure in my heart ". She said raising the axe.
The Mermaids hummed shaking their heads furiously.
Mrs. Arrowood retreats the ask and removed the gag from the woman's mouth.
" Your people don't want me to kill you, seems you're so important, now tell me ".
" We can't betray Anita, not now, You know what it means to give her out just for death, it puts an end to the Arctic species". She announced.
"Funny thing is we don't kill Mermaid, only the stubborn one like you". She said and raised the axe again.
The Mermaids hummed again and she exhaled as she moved to a girl and took down her gag.
"You're right but Anita wouldn't want us all to die for her, she'll want us to secure our lives first". The Girl said and the rest agreed.
"Shut up daughter, you know nothing".
"You've lived your life mother, two hundred and I'm just twenty-five, I haven't lived a life and I'm not ready to die so am gonna give her". She said.
"No".
"Keep shut woman".
"Anita was headed for the Sardinia Island, she knew you wouldn't follow because of the sea rocks that could cause a wreck ". She said.
" And how can I be so sure you ain't lying? ". Mrs. Arrowood asked.
" We haven't given a name for eighteen years, now I gave one, doesn't it ring a bell but you won't find her so it isn't my fault, she must have left Sardinia Island she's no fool".
"That's right but even that long there'll be a clue where she went next". Mrs. Arrowood said and dropped the ax.
"Now you're gonna tell me what was in that box she protected?". She asked and they remained mute.
"My bad, let's leave that for when I return, so you see I ain't evil, all I needed was a damn name, Elvis, feed them with a good meal and cancel Roxy's flight, we're going on a trip". Mrs. Arrowood said walking out.

"Trip to Sardinia Island?". Lovely asked as he dropped the cup of wine.
"That's right son". Mrs. Arrowood said and looked out through the window.
"I have a school to attend Mom". He said.
"And when did my children become bothered about school, it isn't gonna take long a week would do".
"A Week?".
"Any problem".
"Nope".
"I know you wouldn't want your siblings to come so I've exempted them, they can go to school and live a normal life while you play solo like you love to".
"What? No! Let them come along mom".
"And there's a big suspicion in your voice, how do you suddenly love your siblings and want them?". She asked.
"They can do the dirty thing they love to".
"We ain't there to capture Mermaids but investigate the Island nevertheless if we find Mermaids at the Atlantis, good riddance ".
" Alright Mom, one week, that's alright so I gotta go I'm late for school already ".
" Go where? We're leaving now? ".
" What? ".
His phone buzzed and he checked the message from Ashley.
" You're a bitch, acting all suspicious forgetting mom has her way of finding things, you show much interest in school she knows something is going on, Geez! You really want mom to kill that girl so fast and then I have no one to pick on, she's the best I've ever picked on, you're such a wicked brother ".
" Are you alright? ". She asked.
" Yeah". He replied raising his head.
"So?".
"Can I get something from school, I forgot it yesterday". He said

"You can send someone to get it". She replied.
"Bitch, you're making it obvious already". Ashley's message pinged in.
"Um... I need to submit my assignment".
"What is it son? When did you start to do assignment, you were hung up yesterday". She said and he laughed.
"Hmm, you now know my escape tricks and how to block them". He said as he sipped in the wine in the cup.
"Oh, you were trying to escape from the trip, the building is surrounded, there's no escaping '. She said raising to her feet.
" Alright Mom, Sardinia Island here we go ".
" Now that's Candy, I said your siblings ain't coming but I didn't mention that Dahlia is coming along". She said and he slowly dropped the cup.
"You love her more than your other siblings don't you? ".
" You mean in reverse order ". He said.
" Your Dad is joining us too".
"You mean step". He said.
"Don't be ridiculous, Roxy is joining us too". Mrs. Arrowood said and walked out.
His phone buzzed and he checked the message from Ashley again.
"Don't worry, I'll take good care of her bro".
"I promise you if you lay a finger on her......". He was typing but paused as two hands wrapped around his neck with the manicured nail caressing his face.
"It's been so long Canny D". A soft feminine voice whispered into his ear.
"Dahlia".

Kapella and Cindy hurriedly stopped a Taxi and got in.
"You are the reason we're late". Cindy said.
"I never asked you to stay long in the shower". Kapella fired as the cab began to move.
"Do you know where we're going?". She asked.
"Phoenix High, isn't it? I've picked you before". He said.
"Alright then hush, I hate going late to PROFESSOR RAJI'S class".
"You now have interest in Foreign Language?".
"I think so".
"You've been reading Lovely's book?".
"Yeah, it's good". She said and the cab drove past the school.
"Excuse me do you have any idea where you're going? Turn around ".
"Higher Calling". He said taking a gun from the compartment of the vehicle.
He turned back and fired pins into their flesh.
They groaned and dropped unconscious to the seat.
He dropped the Gun and spoke into his Walkie Talkie.
"I have her but she's with her friend, I have them both, where should I bring them? ". He asked and nodded.
Kapella's eyes blinked open slowly with a reflection of blue in her iris as her bracelet glowed brightly.

Lovely, Dahlia and Roxy could be seen moving toward a helipad denoted by a capital 'H' with their backpack behind them.
"This is gonna be the best vacation ever". Dahlia announced as she wrapped her hand around Lovely's neck.
"What vacation? hush!". He snapped taking her hand off his neck.
"Seriously?".
"You were choking me". He said.
"Can you guys just stop talking for once?". Roxy complained.
"Oh Roxy, I don't have an idea why mom wants you to come alone but I'm the queen of the island so you....".
"Just keep your shit to yourself, I don't want to hear". She said and walked past them but paused as the helicopter descends slowly.
The wind created by it pushed her back but Lovely caught her.
"You see, all you got is a fleshy tongue". Dahlia told her.
The helicopter lands and the door pushed open.
"Thank you". Roxy said and he let go of her as they got in.
The door was pushed closed and the helicopter navigated up.

The Cab stopped at a warehouse and the driver got down to meet some set of men with black armed with clubs.
Kapella peeped out and removed the pins in Cindy's neck.
She gasped to consciousness and she covered her mouth.
"We've been kidnapped, Cindy".
"What?".
"They want money from your father, you didn't tell me he was that wealthy".
"Of course he is, is this the right time, we're in trouble". Cindy said as she peeped through the window.
"Let's call the cops". Kapella said as she took a phone and gave it to Cindy.
"How long before they get here?". Cindy asked.
"This are just men armed with club, nothing more". She said.
"And where did you suddenly get courage?".
"Just stay in". Kapella said as she opened the door.
"Am coming with you".
"Are you nuts? Stay back".
"Is this your bracelet?". Cindy said wanting to take the bracelet on the seat but Kapella slapped her hand off and took it swiftly.
She slide it into her pocket and walked out.
She moved toward the direction of the men with her head filled with all possible defense one could think of.
She whistle and they turned in her direction.
"I think you caught the wrong girl". She said.
"How! How! Get her!". The Driver screamed.
They held their clubs tightly and raced at her.
