"I don't want to talk about him, it brings me nothing but pain and sorrow". Anita told them.
"You're in pain Anny, we should pull out this Harpoon". Mr. Elijah suggested.
"I die the moment you pull it out, the edge would puncture my heart".
"You can't remain like this, you can't die, you have a child, a beautiful daughter".
Mrs. Elijah squat low.
"There's always an end to everything Jane, and mine have come". She said in a low tone.
"You ain't the only one right?".
"They've all been captured, I was the only one who escaped because I had to get the child away and I'm powerful to fight as many hunters as I can".
"There's no one that you can direct us, so your baby can be trained? ".
" It's big trouble if she falls into a wrong hands, not all mermaids are good, there are sirens and there are also mermaids who hunt mermaids, steal their beauty and voice ". Anita said and paused as she coughed.
Mr. Elijah took his handkerchief and cleaned her bleeding nose.
" She's special, the most wanted and haunted kind for centuries now, I was the last after my mother died during an attack on the Arctics and some strangers trained me, My powers were hidden with a bracelet and so I never knew what I was until my parents revealed it when I was 18, I later met with some other group of mermaids and we moved into the Atlantic Ocean but because I was in love with Danny, I returned to human life ".
" You should stop speaking Anny, you're weakening your strength ". Mrs. Elijah advised.
" No, I don't have time life, a Mermaid's place is the waters, to stay on land then you have to prepare for the battles to come ".
" This must belong to you". Mr. Elijah said digging a bracelet from the ground.
"It did and I want you to have it".
"I'm not like you, what should I have it?". He asked.
"Because I want you to have the child".
"Anita!". Mrs. Elijah called out.
"It isn't a coincidence that we met after so long and with my dying breath, I beg for just and only one thing, take my daughter as yours".
"No Anita, don't put me in such a situation, having a Mermaid as a daughter is never my life plan ".
" As much as I don't want to put you in such a situation, get me a knife ". Anita said weakly.
" What do you need a knife for? Mr. Elijah said.
"To kill the child".
"What the hell is wrong with you?". She cursed.
"I can't die knowing fully well that my daughter is going to die beside me or someone else finds her and turn her into a menace in the world".
"Is that enough reason to kill your daughter with your hands, just direct us to someone you trust". Mrs. Elijah said and she shook her head.
"Just give me a knife Jane, so I kill the child with my last strength".
"I'm not going to let you do something foolish".
"Neither will I forgive you if you let the child die here or put her into an orphanage or another family".
"Anita, don't do this to me". Mrs. Elijah cried and held her hand.
"Promise, she'll be the best thing closest to you than a daughter, she'll be intelligent, all you need, Just please take her, you're the only one I trust ".
Mrs. Elijah sniffed and tears formed in her eyes.
She felt her husband's hand on her shoulder and she looked back.
He nodded and she nodded as well before turning to Anita.
" We'll take her Anita, tell us what we must know".
"First, you must know she's dangerous".

Kapella walked out of the school clinic with Cindy.
"Can you now tell me what's going on Kappy?". Cindy inquired.
"And when did Kappy come into play? ".
" Right from when Cin sounds like Sin ". Cindy said and she laughed.
" I'll explain later Cindy, I gotta go ". Kapella said and left.
She turned to the left hallway and almost bumped into Lovely who was standing with his hands in his pocket.
She cleared her throat and moved to the left but he moved as well.
She went left and he did as well, that was when she raised her head to him.
Her eyes blinked and she stared into his cold face.
"Ouch!". She cried as he grabbed her hand and pulled her along.
"Lovely!". She called out and dragged her to the balcony.
"How did you know the pattern?". He asked.
"What pattern?".
"Franca or what was his name?".
"Francis.., Why are you asking?".
"Just answer me".
"C'mon Lovely, I've things to attend to". She said and made to walk away but he held her arm back and she almost tripped over the balcony but he held her arms as her backrest on the edge.
"Are you gonna let me fall now?".
"Just answer me".
"Why do you care?". She asked and he leaned close.
"Cos I want to know".
"I'm gonna push you off Lovely". She said.
"You're welcome to try, have you been with him before?"? He asked.
"He's Cindy's brother for heaven's sake, he's a fresher so no why the questions?". She asked.
"You still haven't answered".
"Fine. I once saw him do it when he came to see Cindy, are you satisfied now?". She asked and he retreated from her sliding his hands into his pocket.
"My apologies". He bowed and turned to the leave.
"Just like that, you come to ask some damn question that doesn't concern you and walk away, you know what just keep to the distance rule, Just stay away from me". She said and walked away.
"Ella!". He called me out but she was out of sight.
She groaned as the bracelet glowed.
"Why are you glowing?". She cursed and hurried into the restroom before taking it off.
She exhaled heavily and her bones tweak a little.
Back again was everything she needed to know flooding through her head again.
She took her marker and wrote on the mirror.
" Stop being angry it's provoking the bracelet ".
She wore the bracelet and exhaled again as everything wiped from her head.
She raised her head to the mirror and saw what she wrote.
She cleaned it and walked out when she saw Ashley washing her face In the sink.
" You can do it? ". She whispered and took off the bracelet approaching her.
"Ashley..". She said and she turned back.
"How can you see me when I'm washing my makeup, do you want to die?". She threatened.
"Um.. Maybe I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I might have offended someway and if you need me to be ugly alright but do you have the capability to chase your brothers away". Kapella asked and stared at her face.
"Do you underestimate my capability?". She asked and Kapella bit her lower lip thereby drawing her attention to it.
Kapella began to sing slowly and softly so that Ashley was still engrossed in her lips.

"Dispose the body?". Mrs. Arrowood commanded and stared at the desiccated Mermaid.
She dropped the jar of salt and walked out with her guard.
The teen girl remaining in the building untied the dead Mermaid and dropped down.
She moved to the door and peeped to see the other workers as they escort Mrs. Arrowood out.
She hurriedly took the red hot knife in coal and groaned resisting the heat.
She approached the first Mermaid and cuts the rope off her speedily.
She slumped down weakly and she removed her gag.
"Listen you need all your strength now more than ever, get up and help the rest". She whispered and she cuts the rope from another Mermaid who was tied to a pillar.
They rose and started loosing the rope off the others.
"Keep your face down, there's a camera". The lady who was freeing them said as the camera in the room concentrated on the moving bodies.
The alarm began to blare and she stamped her feet on the ground.
"Damn..". She cursed and rushed to the door bolting it.
"Open up!". They could hear voices behind the door.
"Hurry!". She cursed and moved to another tied Mermaid.
That was when a tractor from the other side broke through the door letting the men in.
She pulled out the revolver behind her and fired at the men.
"Go! Go!". She screamed, the Mermaids abandoned the rest and flee through the back door.
The men fired endlessly and it caught two running ladies, they
seized fire as the teen girl stood in front escaping door.
They raced off and pushed her off the way running through the corridor that lead out to the jetty.
The Mermaids who were at the jetty already dived into the sea as the men opened fire but they were in already.
They ran back into the warehouse to Meet Mrs. Arrowood who entered hurriedly.
"Where are they?". She roared and they looked down.
"They escaped ma'am, about ten of them, we only got two". A man in black said and he point to the two Mermaids on the ground.
