Chapter 7: Chapter 7
Stephen's eyes widened as he saw the route back home get longer. Brian's suspicions were aroused by the chat he had just had with the odd stranger. After all, what exactly is Andrea and Brian's relationship like? Have his guys contacted Anna yet? In his head, a sequence of questions started springing up.
It began to rain outdoors at this point. Because of the heavy rain, the road surface immediately turned slick. Stephen put on stronger headlights and accelerated the automobile. The gleaming black SUV rushed along the road.
Stephen had returned to the suburban mansion a few moments later. Anna came to the stairs as soon as he entered the living room. When she saw Stephen, she became concerned: "It was pouring severely, and it appeared like a storm was on its way. I didn't expect you to show up at the mansion today."
Stephen gave Anna a frown. Brian's and the odd man's statements from earlier replayed in his thoughts once again. He scrutinized Anna's countenance deliberately, as if testing her devotion to him. However, he always kept his misgivings veiled behind his deep brown eyes. Stephen's expression remained unchangeable. He strolled carefully up to the sofa, draped his vest over the chair, and sat down.
Then he unfastened his shirt above his neck and leaned totally back. Stephen sat in his most comfortable position and gently responded to Anna. "I have work to do here," he said clearly, his voice even in the quiet. “Miranda, is she ok? Does she remain obediently in her room?"
Anna had finished brewing the tea at this point. She quietly prepared a cup of hot tea for Stephen and stated softly, "She's still in the room. Except for the fact that I told you about it, she exhibited no symptoms of suspicion today. Miranda remained in her room all day, and everything was quite quiet."
"Keep an eye on her." Stephen gave the command. "I'd like to know how she's linked to Brian."
"Are the bodyguards here hired by you?" Stephen said, setting the tea cup down on the table.
"You're correct, sir." Anna nodded in agreement. "What's the problem?"
"Did you double-check their identities?"
"Before being interviewed, they must all pass a background check. They had documents on my laptop. I'll bring them to you later tonight." Anna responded boldly.
"Excellent. You are now free to relax." Stephen gave a nod. His face was full of contentment.
Anna then bowed and exited the living room. The entire room became silent in an instant. The large room was empty except for Stephen, and the light from the chandelier above his head was insufficient to lift his spirits right now.
People place a high value on their trust. Everything may be ruined if we do not have trust in our hearts. And Stephen is currently in that situation. He questions everything, particularly Anna, who has been following him for years. Stephen, on the other hand, did not anticipate her to betray him. He couldn't decide whether he should believe Anna or not. As a result, the artificial light provided by the electric bulb was unable to illumine him. Stephen could only see a black night ahead of him. His deep brown eyes became so large that they seemed to contain the entire world.
Stephen shuffled drowsily toward Miranda's room. A odd emotion entered his heart as soon as the entrance to the room opened.
Miranda was sleeping on the bed. She wears a pure white dress. The thin fabric reveals every seductive line of a girl.
Stephen sat down by the bed. She is dressed entirely in white. Every enticing line of a female is shown by the thin cloth.
Stephen took a seat next to the bed. He regarded Miranda's face attentively. Her face is round, with delicate features. The heart-shaped lips and high nose are usually crimson. Her sleeping expression is very serene. If it hadn't been for her role in Andrea's murder, Stephen may have thought of her as heavenly in beauty.
Stephen's gaze traveled down to Miranda's neck, where the imprints of his kiss from the day before were still visible. It's become purple now. With each breath, her burning breasts rose and fell at the base of her neck. Stephen's entire body went heated all of a sudden. His throat was dry, making breathing difficult. He couldn't stop himself from leaning down and kissing Miranda's lips. The unexpected kiss jolted her awake. She strained to avoid Stephen's presence as soon as she became aware of it. Her feeble effort, however, was insufficient to overcome Stephen. His passion was at an all-time high. Stephen climbed on top of Miranda, his left hand clutching her wrist. Miranda fought, but it was too late; his right hand had gone inside her skirt, tracing her tempting waist and brushing against her breasts. His hands were silky. Stephen's hand was tinged with a gentle sensation, which heightened his excitement. Miranda's neck was constantly assailed by his lips, which pinched hers.
Miranda felt pain as a result of Stephen's abrupt and forceful onslaught, but a sense of contentment soon returned to her body. Her entire body shook at Stephen's every motion, like lightning going through it.
The moans had started. They were like a tantalizing invitation when they reached his ears. They make him feel fulfilled.
Although Miranda does not agree with Stephen's conduct, her body reacts oddly to him. She couldn't flee the hefty man, so she abandoned everything and waited for time to pass. Miranda's spirit ached as she felt self-pity, and she began to cry once more. Unexpectedly, her tears quenched a demon's thirst within Stephen.
He came to a halt, looked into Miranda's eyes, and questioned, "Why are you crying?"
Miranda remained silent. She bit her lower lip and shifted her gaze to the wall. She didn't want to deal with Stephen. Her activities drew his attention. His deep dark eyes instantly glowed with rage. He tightened his grip on her chin and drew her attention to him.
"What's the matter with you crying?"
He asked the question again, this time in a low, frightening tone. Miranda closed her eyes and whispered, "Do anything you want."
Stephen locked his gaze on Miranda. For a few moments, they were surrounded in silence. He then smacked Miranda's hand away, marched out of the room violently, leaving her corpse, picking up her garments scattered on the floor.
