Chapter 9: Chapter 9

Ceo's Secret Wife 5 (b)

Ayyiappa means God.

"Why are you ignoring me like this, huh?" He yelled, making her flinch. "I am not ignoring you." She looked here and there.

"You are ignoring me, Adwitiya, YOU ARE," he said again, pulling her close to him while clutching her arm. "Leave me, Adhyansh, you are hurting me." She struggled to remove his hand from her arms.

"I am hurting you, huh?" He left her arms and cupped her cheeks softly. "Then tell me what you are doing to me." "You are hurting me, Adwitiya, you are hurting me. It's been 10 days, and you aren't even talking to me, ignoring my calls and messages just because of that day." She cut him off. "Nothing happened that day, okay. It was just a mistake."

"No, Adwitiya, it wasn't a mistake we were about to make, lo." She cut him off, shouting, "Don't even dare use that word; we were about to fuck; I am glad we stopped; we are just friends, and friends don't do such shite."

He let out a dry chuckle and pulled her closer to himself. "Friends, huh?" From whom are you lying? It's been 10 months since your breakup with Divyanka. "I did everything for you to make you happy, from fulfilling your late-night demands for ice cream to taking you out for a ride on my bike, and come on, that day wasn't the first time we kissed. Stop running away from your feelings!" he yelled, jerking her closer and making her breathless by his close proximity.

"I love you, Adwitiya." She pushed him and slapped him hard. "No, no, no, this love and all of it is just so fucked up. I don't love you. I don't love anyone. Please let's end this. I don't want to talk to you, nor do I want to be your friend anymore. Please leave me please." She cried out loudly.

He clapped his hands and his eyes were full of tears. "Wow, Adwitiya Mishra." Wow, you are so bad, like, so bad. You are done playing with my feelings; that's why now are you telling me to leave, right? just because I am not as rich as you. You are leaving me! Damn, damn, damn, it was my mistake. I fell for the wrong girl. I forgot my fucking status. Dammit." He palmed his face, taking a deep breath to not cry out loud.

"Leave me, please." He heard her whispering. "Sure ma'am, I am leaving you. I won't show my face to you ever again. I made a mistake by falling for you anyway. I am sorry. And he left, wiping away his tears.

Few days later..

Breakfast table..

"Adhyansh has given his resignation later; I don't know what happened to him; he just said he wants to leave, and I can't even stop him because his contact with us ends in two days," Jaiyush said, taking a sip of his coffee.

Adwitiya's eyes shot up at him. "Did he say anything to you, Adwitiya?" Like, why is he leaving all this?" She was taken aback by Jaiyush's question.

"Uh, why would he say anything to me?" Adwitiya continued sipping her coffee.

"Oh, then leave it, I thought he said that to you after all, you both are friends," Jaiyush said. "He is not my friend, okay?" "No one, my friend." Jaiyush was amused by her sudden shout.

"Princess, okay, calm down. I didn't mean to make you angry." He said softly, caressing her hair. "Sorry dad, I am just a little tensed. I didn't mean to shout at you like this." She apologized.

______________

"Adhyansh, what is the problem, my child?" Why do you want to leave?" Jaiyush asked him. "Sir, I don't want to work here or at any other company in Mumbai." I am going back to Punjab," Adhyansh answered Adwitiya, who was passing by her dad's study room and heard Adhyansh and stopped there.

"Adhyansh yahan pe," she thought.

"But why do you want to go back to Punjab?" "You know right now that the opportunities here in Mumbai are more than in Punjab, and I saw you working hard day and night, so whydo you want to destroy your career?" Jaiyush was trying to make him understand.

"Sir, I am sorry. I can't tell you the reason I just want to leave. I've already packed my stuff and booked the tickets. I will be leaving in two days." Jaiyush let out a sigh upon hearing him.

"If that's what you want, then I can't stop you." "All the best for your future." Adhyansh got up to leave while Adwitiya ran to her bedroom, not wanting to get caught.

Flashback end..

Adwi's pov..

He was looking so genuine when he proposed to me; I could feel the softness in his voice and the love in his eyes, which were clearly visible.

Adwitiya calm down, you have to control yourself, he is bad and also married and the father of two kids! He cheated on you, okay? He cheated on you; he played with your heart just like Aakash did. He is a sadist and loves to hurt you.

I have to leave. I have to leave this place.

I checked the time and it was already 1:30 p.m. Ayyiappa, please help me to get out of this place. I got up and gulped the water in a go. The whole mansion was dark. Silently, I made my way to the backdoor, taking slow steps.

Ayyiappa, please help me. Luckily the backdoor wasn't locked, so I opened it without making any noise and walked out. Now I just had to get out of his territory.

I have to climb this wall, but how? Suddenly something struck in my mind, and I sighed and picked up the flower pot, ready to break it, but then I left it because it was the original plant. There was another plant, which was the fake one, which I grabbed and slammed on the floor.

Running, I hid behind one of his cars. The guards came to the backside to see what had happened, and I slowly made my way by taking the support of his cars and pillars.

"Thank you, Ayyiappa." I ran out of his cage.

Running towards the main road, I huffed, but I didn't stop as I ran, ran, and ran. The road was vacant; I couldn't even see any taxis or autorickshaws.

I felt that someone was following me. I turned but didn't find anyone taking a deep breath. I started walking again.

"Aaah, leave me!" I gasped when someone pounced on me from behind, and before I could struggle, the handkerchief was pressed on my nose. It has some weird kind of scent.

Oh no, I was kidnapped, but it was too late. My body gave up and drifted into the darkness.
