Chapter 7: Chapter 7

"Adhyansh, this is too much, okay?" You have to punish her this time. She tried to harm Yuvaan! "What if someday she mixed poison in his food?" Tripti said she was getting angry at Adwitiya, who was standing there looking down.

"Have it a little more, champ," Adhyansh said softly, feeding Yuvaan the ice cream.

"Tripti, take Yuvaan and Yuvika to their room." Adwitiya knew now he wouldn't leave her, and she was preparing herself to get ready for his torture. Though he never hit her, she was expecting a beating from him today.

"Why did you do this?" He asked, and though his voice was soft, it still screams danger for her. "I'm so sorry," she muttered, shutting her eyes tight.

"I want an answer, Adwitiya. Tell me, WHY DID YOU DO THIS?" She flinched and moved back upon hearing his shout.

"I wanted to harm you because you were punishing me and torturing me very much. You aren't even letting me study, so I added red chilli powder to your noodles." It was for you, sir; I didn't realise that Yuvaan would go take a taste. She meekly spilled out everything in one go.

"So you want me to have those noodles?" Sure, I will have this, but how about I share it with you? "You know sharing is caring." He held her hand, dragging her towards the couch; he made her sit, and he himself sat beside her.

"See, I am eating." He took a spoonful in his mouth, chewing it while smiling at her as if nothing happened. "Now your turn." He brought it close to her lips, and she moved back, shaking her head in no response. "Have it." He ordered, and she pleaded with him through her eyes.

"I SAID HAVE IT." She opened her mouth, and he stuffed it. She started coughing, her throat and chest started burning, and tears flowed like a waterfall while he was sitting so calmly after having four spoons.

"Come on, open your mouth; see, this is so tasty, and I already have four spoons. You just had one, so now have it." He stuffed it for the second time, and she fisted the side of her dress, controlling herself not to cry or scream loudly as she felt her insides were on fire.

"Come on one more time." She shook her head no and held his hand. "I am sorry, sir, please don't do it this time. I can't handle this anymore. Please, I am sorry." She cried out, then coughed badly with a runny nose.

"Fine one spoon is left; I will have it after all you put in your efforts." He said he stuffed it in his mouth, acting so calm like nothing happened.

His eyes widened when he stared at her face. Blood escaped from the side of her lips when she coughed. Adwitiya didn't notice the blood on her lips.

"Aaah," she coughed again. "Shiit, you are bleeding." He wiped her mouth with his handkerchief before he could see the blood.

"I have extreme allergies from the red chilli powder, sir, that's why I bleed." She said with great difficulty, then got up, placing her hand on her belly as it was hurting, fumbled, then walked to the kitchen. After rinsing her mouth, she slumped down on the floor, drank the water, and then rested her head back on the wall.

"This is so spiky, dad." The 5-year-old Adwitiya said crying out loud. Jaiyush panicked when he saw her coughing up blood; his eyes widened, and he rushed to the hospital.

"She has an extreme allergy to the red chilli powder or any spicy things; if she ever has something extremely spicy again, it could be life-threatening for her," the doctor explained.

"It's burning, dad." She said she was sniffing because her face was red. "Sorry princess, I already fired the maid who added spices to your food; next time I will take extra care of it now that you have this." He fed her that cream.

"My dad is indeed the best dad in the world. I miss you so much, dad," she thought, closing her eyes.

"Adwitiya" Her eyes jerked open, and she crawled back in fear, seeing Adhyansh kneeling in front of her. "Kuch kaam hai?" "Sir main abhi kar deti hu lekin, please, chilli powder nahi dena, it's still hurting," she meekly whispered, looking down.

"Have this first." He held out her bowl, which had three scoops of ice cream; her eyes twinkled, but then she nodded, saying, "Have it. It will reduce burning." He brought the spoonful of ice cream close to her lips, and she had it, and it did calm her as the cool sensation touched her throat.

"I will send you the medicine for your allergies after some time," he said, saying he left.

The unexpected friendship is between Adhyansh and Adwitiya, but they did become friends, not actually best friends.

"So you're from Mumbai only?" She asked him as they sat dipping their legs in the swimming pool.

"Naah, I am from Punjab," he answered, staring up at the sky as his palms rested on the ground for support.

"Ghar pe kaun kaun hai?" She further asked, and he started at her, grinning mischievously, "Kyu rishte bhejne hai?" (Why do you want to send a marriage alliance?) He teased..

"Adhyansh," she whined, slapping his arm. "Arre mazak kar raha tha (I was just kidding)" He chuckled..

"Well, I belong to a big joint family." He said, and she excitedly turned towards him: "Bohot koi honge na?" (You have a big joint family, right?) Aunts, uncles, mom, dad, brothers, sisters, and cousins And she went on asking him excitedly.

"Haanji haanjii saab hai" (Yes, I have everyone). He answered, and her face fell. "I have no one in my life except my dad. He is my only family, and you are my only friend. I lost all my friends a few months ago," she stated.

"Where are your friends, Adwitiya?" He asked, trying to act calm and cool. "I don't know where they are; I tried to get information from the university but didn't get any information," she answered, pouting.

"Ayee, don't be sad. I am here. Na, I will be your friend." He assured her, making her smile.

Flashback end...

He smirked thinking about all this and dialled a number. "Yeah, feed them and tell them to complete the work." ordering, he hung up the call and leaned his head back.
