Flora hesitated for a moment, but obediently turned around and stared at him, "Mr. Kevin, is there something else you need?"

This man was too wicked and dangerous, she couldn't stay any longer. Why were men with such faces so despicable? She really couldn't understand!

Kevin had already regained his usual charming smile and said, "I was just joking with you earlier, Miss Flora. Don't take it to heart."

Now it was his turn to set the rules of the game. He didn't want to scare away this timid rabbit with a dirty mind. After all, who would play with him then?!

Upon hearing this, Flora felt a bit relieved and giggled, "Uh...hah, I know you were just joking, so I won't take it to heart."

"That's good. Go and attend to your tasks now. Be downstairs at ten o'clock sharp, and accompany me somewhere," Kevin instructed seriously.

However, Flora was shocked and blurted out, "Accompany you, Mr. Kevin?" Did she hear him correctly?

"Is there a problem? My personal assistant?" Kevin looked at her with amusement, seeing her stunned expression.

Personal assistant?! Oh my god! Flora screamed in her mind.

But she didn't dare to express any objection on her face, so she forced a dry smile and said, "No, no problem at all, Mr. Kevin. I'll go attend to my tasks." After saying that, Flora quickly walked out, slamming the door shut behind her, and walked towards the guest room department with a face filled with frustration.

She had gone through all that trouble and didn't see anything. Did she have to sell herself out like Chloe just to see what was behind him? Unfortunately, she didn't have the courage or confidence to do so!

At ten o'clock, Flora didn't waste a second and appeared on time at the lobby door. Although she didn't delay for even a second, she was still late compared to Kevin.

The doorman gestured to Flora and said, "Miss Irma, Mr. Kevin is already waiting for you in the car."

"Oh, so fast?" Flora exclaimed, glancing at the car.

Kevin was sitting in the passenger seat, looking at her, and then motioned for her to get in. The only problem was, the seat he asked her to sit in was the driver's seat.

Flora stood outside the car, awkwardly chuckling, "Mr. Kevin, are you confident in letting me drive?"

"You're my assistant, do you want me to drive you around everywhere?" Kevin teased her, sizing her up with a smile.

Flora knew she didn't have the right to say 'no', so she walked around to the other side of the car and climbed into the driver's seat. She turned to him and kindly reminded him, "I'm not very good at driving, Mr. Kevin, please forgive me."

Kevin chuckled nonchalantly as if he didn't consider his own life at all. He comfortably leaned back in the seat and said, "To the Sunshine Hotel."

"Oh, okay," Flora replied, starting the engine, and the car slowly glided out of the driveway.

Sunshine Hotel and Moonlight Hotel were both properties of the Davis family, one located in the east of W City and the other in the west.

As Flora controlled the steering wheel, she secretly glanced at Kevin's cheerful mood through the rearview mirror. She couldn't understand why he seemed so happy as if he had won the jackpot. And his smile... no matter how she looked at it, it felt strange, like something was off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Kevin knew she was stealing glances at him, but he let her speculate as if nothing were happening. Just thinking about what was about to happen soon made him feel extremely good. Flora White! She had schemed against him so many times, wouldn't it be too unfair not to give her something in return, and too unfair to his playful nature?

The car stopped at the entrance of the Sunshine Hotel. Flora leaned forward and looked through the car window, admiring the decorated star-rated building that looked the same as Moonlight Hotel. It was her first time coming here.

She turned around to face Kevin, who was resting his eyes, and respectfully said, "Mr. Kevin, we've arrived at the Sunshine Hotel."

Kevin opened his eyes, sat up straight, and casually opened the small compartment in the front of the car. He rummaged through it and took out a gift box. He handed it to her, pretending to be serious, and said, "Take this box to Room 2011. Just knock on the door and hand it to the person inside."

Flora looked at the gift box, skeptical. She looked at the gift box and then back at Kevin. Is he okay? It's just an ordinary gift box that can be easily bought anywhere. Why does he seem to treat it like a precious treasure and specially deliver it to someone mysterious at the Sunshine Hotel?

Kevin noticed her doubt and pretended to be displeased as he touched his nose, "What? You don't want to go?"

Little did she know that the gift was just a pretense, and his real intention was for her to meet that man. He couldn't wait to see her panic and pale face!

She had no choice but to play along with his game. After taking the gift box from him, she pushed the car door and walked straight towards the hotel lobby. Since the layout was the same as Moonlight Hotel, she quickly found the direction of the elevator.

The elevator reached the 20th floor. Although Kevin's behavior was confusing, Flora didn't dwell on it too much. She believed that she just needed to follow his instructions. So, without any suspicion, she walked to Room 2011 and politely knocked on the door. Upon receiving a response, she entered.

Glancing around, Flora didn't see anyone. But someone had responded to her just now. She hesitated and walked towards the temporary study room. Standing at the door, she cleared her throat and asked, "Is anyone there?"
