Harold decided to have lunch with Barbara before leaving, Jayden made a nice reservation for them, the hotel was a popular one, who are well known for having the best chef that normally cook for their guest anything they want right in front of them.

While sitting at the table, Harold could help but steal glances at her, earlier he wasn't really happy that he might get into the bad book of his long time friend because of this naughty son of his, seeing the face of Shirley this morning, who is acting like she is fine while deep down she is dying slowly, he is a father and he understands when one of his child is not happy, to the world, he is a complete womanizer but to his kids, he is a perfect dad, he might had fail in marriage but not as a parent. Barbara face had melt his heart, the girl is innocent and he loves Barbara's family as well, although he find something awkward about that woman, he is going to discuss that later with his son.

She part her lips slightly, causing her mouths to have some particles of food, Dante lick with his tongue, Barbara stare at him in shock, he wink at her, then he used his thumb.

What is wrong with this boy? She cursed inwardly, Dante is making her uncomfortable, Jayden smile, he can't wait to be alone with Dante and tease him nonstop.

Deep down in her, she is scared somehow, she felt bad for fooling these elders, Wondering in her thoughts, Dante pulled her in a kiss, startling her.

They asked for it. Dante doesn't want to get scolded by his boss, she give him a week smile, with the way Dante is kissing her every minute, she felt that, she might not be save under same roof with Dante, she needs to give him, the terms and conditions of this marriage as soon as possible.

When she suck her lips she felt she was tasting Dante, he had kiss her like a thousand times in front of his family.

After lunch they parted ways with Dante's family while Dante return to the hospital with her.

Barbara wants to shoo Dante away, since she doesn't want to depend on him that much, it will not be easy task, so she let him have his way, sitting at the lobby, her tears fall all of a sudden, Dante look at her in shock.

I am fine. She said then wipe her tears. He knows Barbara is worried, she must have so many things in her mind, he want to console her and reassure her that everything will be fine, taking a step closer, Barbara's phone ring.

Jeffrey! She murmured his name then take the call. Jeff, where have you been?

Sorry, too busy with business, I apologized for not been able to reach you, I try getting through with Kathleen, is like she is on honeymoon. Barbara laughed.

Are you alright? He asked, though she is laughing, he could feel something is wrong. Come on talk to me.

Dad is hospitalized, he is going to have a surgery, I am scared, what if he didn't make it?
