I walked up to the place I was directed to as the dining room

It was a long table and it was filled with people

Gosh, who makes long tables nowadays when you can always have breakfast in a room

"Are you gonna stand there and embarrass yourself or are you gonna join us? " The dickhead prince turned to me as I rolled my eyes

I wanted so hard to give him a piece of my mind but I just had to be calm

Besides all these people around this table maybe blood sucking vampires for all I know

I took in a deep breath and went to take an empty seat next to the dickhead

I was served with cooked meat and vegetables, meanwhile I noticed that all other meats on the table where raw

I was afraid, I mean anyone in my state right now will !!

But hunger always overcome fear, I don't joke with my belly, let's just say am those type that eat but never get fat

Oh munched the meat quickly ignoring the eyes that where starring at me, did I mention that the cloth the gave me was totally awful!!!

I mean, instead of jeans and crop tops, I get a long ball gown!

I'll make sure that after this, Mr dickhead prince will surely give me a suitable outfit!, I can't go around looking like snow white and her seven dwarfs

....... DAMIAN'S POV.......

Breakfast had been over since like 1 hour ago, everyone had returned back to their Chambers

I was still surprised by how well behaved the human girl was, she just ate her food silently

Maybe I should give her a stroll around the palace, beign locked up for two days in my Chambers isn't the most pleasant thing

I haven't slept in my Chambers for 2 days because I am hardly around

The werewolves attacked again and killed many vampires, I've been busy trying to build up security

Vampires don't go out by day but my clan does, we are a special specie which don't get affected by sun

But silver can kill us

I barge into my room as a needle pirced through her finger In shock

"Haven't you ever heard of knocking?!"

She glared at me as I inspected what she was doing

She was seeing a robe

"What are you doing?"

I looked up at her closing the door behind me

"What does it look like am doing?"

She raised an eyebrow

What are you wearing?"

I asked as I glanced at her outfit, she wore a bum short trouser and a crop top

"Clothes"

She rolled her eyes

"What's your name?"

"What's with all the questions!"

Tell me your name"

It's Kate ,yours?"

Damien"

Yeah whatever!"

Dress up, I wanna show u something"

Am not going anywhere with you!"

She Screamed as I rolled my eyes using my superspeed to go to her as I carried her on my hands and she struggled to get down

"Let me go you dickhead!!!"

She glared hitting my chest hard

... Damian's POV...

I had thought all day of what do for her, irrespective of the fact that she found out who I was she still kept her cool and that was something I was amazed of.

Or she's just waiting for a good time to freak out" My subconscious self say to me.

I had taken her to the palace garden,even if we vampires didn't appreciate nature I guess the human girl would and as it turned out she did like it

Wow,this place is amazing"

She kept saying every now and then gasping with delight

Is it okay if I look around,I mean I love roses I just wanna check if there are some around"!

She stood there asking me for what seemed like eternity

Sure you can,as long as you don't try to escape"

I say to her with her a smug smile on my face

As if I could go farther than two feet with you displaying your super abilities"

She rolled her eyes, giving me that stern look that I was starting to fall in love with

You don't have to remind me,just knock yourself out,I'll be right here"

I reply her finding a suitable spot between a log to seat down and wait for her to explore to her hearts content

But I think I should have left her for a while, sitting here and looking at her with those curves and perfect figure made me realize how much I really wanted her in my bed. I could already picture how soft and luscious her lips would feel on mine, but I like to believe that she also fantasized about me. As much as she might like to argue,I have caught her a couple of times catching glimpses of me.

But I guess the other part of me really wished she'd just love me

Snap out of it Damian,you've got a betrothed and an upcoming wedding to think about"

My subconscious pops to remind me

But I can't her off my mind"

I say to myself while looking at her being all Disney princess with the butterflies

You'll only put her in danger if you let her know you love her,you need to kill that feeling" My subconscious self resumes again to remind me

As much as it's hard to admit the truth,my subconscious was right,if dad found out that I had feelings for her,bad things might happen to her.

What has got you so engrossed in thinking that you didn't even notice me"

Looking up to see who it was,it turned out to be Oliver with that evil smirk that I'm sure always ulterior purpose behind it

I say to him now standing up to my full height just in case he gets any crazy ideas

Ouch!! Who knew this things hurt"

I looked around to figure out who it was, and so did Oliver, but then I remembered I had brought Kate in here.

Whooshing so fast I got to her side in time to see her withdrawing from the rose she had been looking for.

What's wrong mushroom,? Hurt yourself?

I stoop down to access her fingers

Don't call me that, if you'd rather call me use my name

She replies furiously with that crazy,sexy glint flashing in her eyes

I try to reach down to tie the cut up with my handkerchief but the blood droping dripping from her finger only made it impossible as my eyes turn red and I could feel my fangs grow out, almost immediately I felt her give a low gasp as she quickly removed her hands from my grasp

I can take care of it myself,I don't need your help"

She immediately says to me hiding her fingers behind her

I couldn't blame her,I hadn't controlled myself in front of her.

"Damn!!! Way to go mess things up for yourself"

My subconscious self comes up to reprimand me but I block it our immediately before it continues its taunting.

If you're done I wanna go back insisted, apparently I can't get the rose without hurting myself and tempting you"

She glowers immediately with a little bit of fear lurking in her eyes

I'm sorry,I just...

But she cuts me off with a curt reply

No need to apologise,it's who you are,it's not like you can change yourself"

I can decipher a hint of disappointment in her voice

Just take me back "

She gazes at me while waiting for me to move

But I couldn't help but wonder if she meant take her back home or to my Chambers.

A part of me wanted to let her go but the greedy part wouldn't do so, I can't help it but I'm getting attached to her.

Let's go,I'll get you some comfortable clothes later, you don't like the gowns I was told" I try sidetracking the issue at hand and thankfully it worked

What century are guys in? I mean who wears queen Elizabeth dresses this age?? She says with that haughty pride and contempt in her voice

I can only smirk in reply, she had better not let the female vampires hear that comment from her or she'd have a lot to deal with.

Getting to the courtyard,we head someone

I could hear the hint of mockery in his voice

I had completely forgotten about Oliver apparently he was still waiting for me

I could feel a little growl forming in the base of my throat which I might let out any moment from now.

Oliver is just all hyped

around me because the clan had chosen me as the next heir after father when I was the youngest.

I don't have anything concerning you,I just wanted to get a look at your new pet and see if we could strike a deal about sharing her together

He replied me with an evil smirk clearly spread across his face as lustfully rakes Kate's body all over

I was so furious,I know I'd have punched him if I had gotten close to him, but just as I was about moving close to him,I felt a hand pull me back, I turned as saw that it was Kate.

She had one expression that could totally murder Oliver but she instantly changed it to a wonderful smile.

Stepping closer to Oliver and looking him directly in the eyes, she smiled and put out her hand

Hi,I'm Katerina and you are? "

She say to him in a voice so sweet that I almost got jealous

Stupid Oliver was about taking her hands but she just took her hand back, immediately her previous expression returned

I for one don't care who you are or what you think you are,if you so much as think of coming close to me, I'll drive a stake through your heart without blinking"

She just stood there toe to toe, staring him directly in the eyes

I had to chuckle,I was damned impressed with her

Turning around after her mini speech,she grabs my hands and tows me towards the main castle leaving a stunned and amazed Oliver gaping at us.

Serves him right, someone had to put him in his place"

I hear my subconscious saying to me, and I couldn't help but smile at her although she didn't see me...
