Chapter 34: Chapter 34

The light shined over my head and the stink filled my nose . I cough due to the atmosphere inside the dark room . I was alone . There was not one noise that fell on my ears since the last two days two days . I had nothing to eat . Nothing to drink . No one came here to see me . I had been crying ever since . But my tears had dried out long ago , I wasn't too hungry , I didn't feel weak ...yet .

I was only out the house for a minute or so . I didn't walk away from the gates . I just wanted to say goodbye to Natalie because she was going away for some days . I didn't see anyone on the road but me. Even after Xavier's efforts of putting guards around the house someone managed to take me away . It was all my fault . All mine . He had told me never to walk out alone . He warned me . But I had to go break all his rules .

And here I was . Sitting in the darkness . My eyes dropped close and I let out silent prayers to god that someone saves me . Although he abused me . Although his actions were always harsh . I prayed that he'd find me . I hope he would if these people were going to hurt me .

The next time I woke with the worst pain . My hands were bound with chains . My legs chain to a wall . My cheek hurt and when I opened my eyes I was faced with familiar man . He was the man with Sarah's dad . His nephew. I frown and he circled me . "I know you are awake so I am going to start talking " he spoke .

"Unchain her " He commanded . As they did so my body trembled. I crawled away but he took a chair and sat right in front of me . "My real name is John . I go by many different ones . Let me explain everything " he said leaning back . I gulp looking at the two men standing beside me . "I work for the government. I have many connections with the department in this city . I have been watching you for a year now . Seems like as soon as your boyfriend noticed he made you disappeare . Xavier has been and always will be someone under my target lines . He is a wanted criminal . A mafia . A drug dealer and also had taken part in human trafficking. " I felt tears raise in my eyes . "You were the only one we could catch to get him . I know you have been with him since your high school . We get you we get him . So , once we catch him you are free to live your life however you want . But , if your refuse to help me , I can use many other methods to deal with your shit " I shiver and sob came out my mouth .

He sighs standing up and I flinched as he grop my elbow and made me stand up . "If you help me . I will respect you . If you don't you will be behind the bars sooner than you think . We have enough evidence and there is no need for you to defend yourself in this . If you refuse to help , that simply means you help him in his criminal activities as well . So what are you gonna do hm ? Come at my side who works for the government or get in jail "

I was trembling. Shaking . Confused and scared . I didn't know what I could say . Xavier was and always will be a criminal due to his acts . But I really loved him . I love him so much . He had done things for me . But he had also done things to me which were near to the worst nightmares .

"I'll give you a day to think . When I come back . I was a proper answer . " He said . As he walked out a man walked in with something in his hand . "Sir John had given you these " He said and kept the things on the chair . As the doors close I Take them . He had given me something to eat and wear . I bite my lip changing from my dirty clothes into the shirt and pants and eating the given food . I was hungry . So much that the food given me didn't fullfil my needs .

But now I needed to think

As my hands kept shaking I closed my eyes and wrapped my hands around my head .John was only after Xavier . If I told him everything Xavier would be arrested . I was his evidence. Ofcourse I refused to tell John ,he would arrest me and him . I could chose only one . Me or him . My tears flowed the whole days . I couldn't think .

I had to do the right thing . My thoughts shifted to when Xavier hurt me . He took away my innocence. He hurt my dad . He abused me . But he said he loved me . I bite my lip closing my eye . I had to do something. I will regret my choice either way why not do it for good ?

The doors opened after hours . I assume it was day after . John walked in and sat in the same chair in the middle as I sat in the corner ."so . You answer is ?" I cry silent . My mouth couldn't speak . But when John stood and kneeled in front of me I froze . "Nobody you know will be hurt . I am after Xavier. I have the police with me right now . One bad choice and you are behind the bars . So tell me . Are you with me or with your boyfriend " .he asked .

I took my time . He waited . There was long pause between us and I was selfish I know that but I did that for Xavier as well .

"With you " I answer .

He was caught the next day . When I allowed them to enter the house with me . When they checked every corner of the mansion we lived in . I saw it . The anger in his eyes when he was being hand cuffed . When I cried . As he was being taken away . I loved him . I loved him so much . But he was that man who raped me once . He was the boy who destroyed my ambitions and made me a women that I am today .

A women who has no strength. Not against anything because he made me into one . He taught me to take the pain in until I can surrender. He never taught me to stand up on own feet .

I saw the look in his eyes . The look which made me shiver . His eyes looking at me with that furry . His jaw clenched as I took my steps back . But when he was finally out I looked at the police officer as he nodded at me . "You will do as I say right ?" I asked and he nodded .

I had made a deal with John . The moment Xavier gets arrested they leave other three guys alone . I couldn't just let them get into this mess . Danish has a family . Dean was only starting to get together with Sarah . And Mia loved Jake . He was one of the first to help me when Xavier was rough with me .

So I did what my gut told me . Gave them the papers of the all the clubs and properties Xavier illegally claimed his and had named on me . In return . I only wanted some money for myself . When asked . I told them why . Because I was going to live this city behind and start a new life .

I will not get back in the mess that Xavier created for me . Now I had no man standing over me and keeping me from doing what I wanted . I had no family . I just couldn't go to my mother .

I didn't tell anyone . But just walked out the house the next day after the incident. They must have been so confused but it was for the best . For my best to move on and let this past walk out if my life .
