Chapter 25: Chapter 25

Third-person POV

Sharply at 5.00 a.m, Akshadh entered into the doctor's room and stood shockingly. He remained frozen for a second. He blinked his eyes intermittently to capture the view

in front of him.

"What am I seeing now is really happening?" His mind voice. He didn't forget to look at Dhiya at that time. Few minutes before he longed madly to have Dhiya nearer to him but he never expected her presence this earlier. It was like a miracle. He sends his silent prayers to God for sending Dhiya to him. A small smile occupied his lips thinking his mom will be back soon.

The specialist doctor, Surgeon doctor and Dhiya were discussing the scan reports. The specialist doctor who came for further treatment noticed Akshadh entering inside the room.

"Come in Mr.Akshadh," said the doctor and Dhiya turned aside to see Akshadh. Dhiya looked at him

for few seconds and she averted the gaze as she couldn't see Akshadh in trouble. Akshadh looked at her miserably. His usual style, comfort everything get vanished today by this unplanned great day. His life turned him upside down in a day.

The doctor greeted him warmly and Akshadh took his seat besides Dhiya. The doctor sitting opposite to him explained the scan report.

"Mr.Akshadh, I have examined your mom a few minutes back. She didn't come to conscious yet. There is a block in the left artery, there is a chance of getting a block in other arteries, veins too so we have planned to remove the block to save her life. Unfortunately or fortunately this is just a try with last hope to save your mom because she is still in an unconscious state. If she came to conscious before the surgery then there is a high chance of getting her back. So pray to God to get her conscious back. We planned to start the surgery by 6.15 a.m,"

Sighing Akshadh looked at the doctor confusedly, "Is it possible to bring her conscious back within one hour?"

"It is in your hands Akshadh. You have to try a few tactics here to bring her conscious back. You can say about her likes, wishes, her dreams etc if her inner mind started responding to it then there are huge possibilities to bring her conscious back and also it is best for the surgery. Sometimes a miracle can happen here," explained the doctor. Akshadh nodded and Dhiya looked at him confidently.

Later, Akshadh thanked the doctor and came out. Dhiya followed him after a few seconds.

Akshadh was standing in the corridor and Dhiya was standing back to him.

"I knew Dhiya, you would come here definitely, this is our love," he said without looking at her.

Dhiya didn't reply.

"How did you know about our admission here? Who told you about this?" asked Akshadh thinking something was there behind her presence and he wants everything to bring to the light.

"Akshadh, we don't have enough time to discuss it now. Now, only one hour is more and we have to try our best to bring your mom conscious," she said holding his shirt to make him turn to look at her.

He turned and looked at her, "You want my mom alive right? Your only thinking is now to bring her conscious but I can't even able to look at my Mom's face because I am responsible for her condition. I behaved rudely for not informing me about the engagement, Janu etc etc because of my love on you. Do you want me to kill her again by my words? I can't Dhiya. Please go from here and I am ready to play with my fate,"

Sighing, "Akshadh please, I never expected that this would happen and finally ruins your mom. I knew you are not ready to believe me whatever I say. We shall discuss everything later and don't play with this precious time"

"Ohh! Well done....Am I playing? No, it is you Dhiya...Please tell me the truth or go away from here. I knew how to save my mother," said Akshadh furiously.

Meanwhile, the doctor who examined Akshadh mom first ran towards Dhiya.

"Excuse me, mam, I need your approval to talk to Dr.Richard who visited India last night," he stretched an approval notice paper to Dhiya.

"Dr.Mohan, Do whatever you want to save her. I have granted permission already. Don't waste time. I already informed this to the Dr.Gokul Sharma, the specialist doctor who visited here," said Dhiya authoritatively. Then, he left.

Akshadh looked at her confusedly, "Dhiya, Is it you the Managing director of the hospital? Yes, You are!!! Ohhh!!! I have talked to you on the phone. I feel your presence in your absence and it is right. You are the one who arranged the doctors in this midnight,"

Flashback

"Madam, Akshadh Jai (Oncologist, VTM hospital, Delhi) speaking here, I need a favour from you. My mom is admitted in your hospital in critical,......situation...., she needs a heart....specialist immediately, please ... arrange.... for it," Akshadh stammered with tears rolling in his eyes. Dhiya being deep sleep a late night due to the dosage of tablet she took in the afternoon. She took the mobile after many trials and pressed the phone in her ear without even looked at it.

"What? Sorry, couldn't hear properly" blabbered Dhiya.

He repeated again thinking signal problem.

What? Akshadh Jai? She jumped out of bed and twisted her eyes. She threw her blanket away and switched on the light. She was shocked and opened her eyes slowly. Then by recognizing the reality she decided to help her best.

"Akshadh Jai? I will arrange immediately," she said and hanged the call without hearing the next word from him.

As it was a late-night, none of the specialist doctors would be there. Then, she immediately called Dr.Mohan who was appointed as a night duty doctor.

"Madam,"

"Dr.Mohan, What happened to Akshadh's mom? How is she now? Did you arrange for heart specialist?" She enquired.

"Madam, His mom's condition was very critical. She was in an unconscious state and mild attack. As it was night time, no one is here to help for even taking scan etc. My personal suggestions are we need a heart specialist immediately madam,"

"Ok, then Call our chief specialist heart doctor Dr.Henry,"

"Madam, he was in two days leave,"

"Yup, Ok I will arrange for it,"

"Ok, madam,"

"Please do all the favour to Akshadh sir. It doesn't matter if you break our hospital rules. Inform me about the reports, situation and any further arrangements. Please do it quickly," said Dhiya.

She hanged the call and rolled for the contact. Then, she called Dr.Gokul Sharma. He picked the call immediately.

"Hey Dhiya! How about you? How about the conference?" He asked from opposite side.

"I am fine. Gokul, I need help from you, It is very urgent now,"

"What help?"

"Please, visit our hospital and do all the favour to Akshadh as his mom needed your help immediately,"

"Akshadh? Is he the man of services?"

"Yes, Please do it Gokul, If you need anyone's help contact whoever you want" she pleaded.

"Ok Dhiya, I will go now immediately,"

"Ok, I am also coming there,"

Sometimes later, Dhiya, Dr.Gokul Sharma and a surgeon reached the hospital.

Flashback ends

Dhiya looked at Akshadh and decided to answer his questions knowing he won't accept further arguments,

"Yes, I am the M.D of the hospital. What do you want to know more?" She asked looking at his eyes.

He ran the fingers over his hair.

"Thank you, Dhiya. I badly wished to thank the M.D of the hospital who supported us but I didn't expect that was you,"

"No problem Akshadh," she said slowly

"Why did you help me Dhiya? Tell me the truth. I need your real opinion now because it the time to decide and help my mom to save her life. I felt guilty to face my mom till now because I can't give her my fake voice,"

"Because.....," She lengthened.

"What?" He shook her.

"Because, I love you Akshadh," confessed Dhiya.

Akshadh stepped closer to her. Tears occupied their eyes. He looked at her without a blink. Dhiya blinked her eyes often to avoid the tears flowing heavily. The wind breeze and the rain drizzled touching the earth.
