Dhiya's POV

"Dhiya, Are you here?" I heard the knocking sound of the door. My mom's voice brought me back to the current leaving the all those memories.

"Yes maa, I am here. I am coming now" I wiped away my tears and got up immediately. I looked myself in the mirror. My face looked pale and I sprinkled water in my face. Then, I wiped away the water drops.

"Janu is waiting for you," said mom.

I opened the door and then we moved to the auditorium. I found only our families there. I realized that everyone left after having dinner as I stayed long time in restroom thinking about the memories.

"Dhiya, where did you go leaving me?" grinned Janu.

"I got important call from hospital that i can't ignore Janu regarding the conference work," I said to manage her.

"Then your work is more important than me right?" She asked winking.

"Areyy, started arguing?? Where did you go Dhiya? Did you have food?" Aunty (Janu's Mom) came seeing as arguing.

"I had food, aunty," I said with fake smile. Already the day consumed me and felt stomach full.

"It is time, let us leave here," After fifteen minutes we left the auditorium. Then we reached Janu's home.

Janu took me to her room. I sat in the bed. She removed the chains and bangles. "Dhiya, refresh and come," she pointed out the restroom.

"No problem, I will do it after going home. Do you need any help?" I asked her when she is struggling to take the decorative pins in hair.

"Yup Dhiya," she sat in front of me in the bed. I took the pins in the hair slowly.

"Dhiya, Did you like my pair?" Chuckled Janu. I could see her reflection in the mirror opposite to us.

"Yes Janu," I replied blankly.

"Dhiya, he is my life. I don't know whether he likes me or not but I love him to the core. One day definitely, I will fill his heart fully by my love. I will pour all my love to make him happy," she said happily. I closed my eyes letting the tear drops to fall. I am happy Janu, If you makes him happy throughout his life because he deserves only happiness. I wish to come out of the place as soon as possible because If Janu noticed me in tears then I can't find solution for her questions.

Between my mom came calling me, I wiped away the tears immediately. Janu and I got up from bed seeing mom entering in the room.

"Dhiya, let us go home. You look so tired due to journey," mom said in concern.

"Yes mom, I felt sleepy," I said in exhausted tone.

"Janu, stay with me today," requested her.

"I have to go to hospital tomorrow Janu so it will be difficult for me to go from here. I will come here in weekends if I am free," I excused.

"Ok Dhiya," she nodded understanding me.

Sometimes later we bid bye to Janu, her parents and then to her brother. We reached home at late night. During the journey, I remained so silent. My parents didn't question me thinking I was tired. Only I knew the effect of today's incident affects me more than the sleeping pills I have taken in afternoon.

After reaching home, I rushed to my room and laid in the bed. I hide my face in the pillow and let my tears out.

Akshadh's POV

Everything goes blank in a second, Robert's and Mannvi face flashed infront of me making me to push the ring in her hand. The chores clapping sound takes me to the present. Shit! I didn't expect this moment. After that I was searching for Dhiya, I didn't find her. My fate tied me in this situation I can't neither leave the place nor to search my Dhiya.

Few minutes later, we had our dinner. I am not ready to eat anything but my mother and brother forced me to eat atleast few mouth for a sake of them I ate little and kept aside. While going to wash my hands, I wandered here and there in search of Dhiya but didn't find her. I knew she didn't left but she hide herself. If she is not ready to see me then why should I? I knew how stubborn was I before meeting her. I never thought that I fell in love for a girl in a week. Everything happened quickly in my life and threw me in hell.

After the function, we reached home. I avoided to talk to my mother and brother because I might shout at them for without informing me about the function. I never behaved in such a way to my mother at anytime because she was one who gave me this life after dad's death.

"Akshu," mom stopped me.

I ignored her like I didn't hear.

"Can't you hear me Akshu?"

"Maa, what do you want?" I tried my best to calm down.

"Don't you like Janu?" She inquired me

"Good question but very late. If you have asked me before leaving home, I would have answer you and now what you want me to answer maa?" I asked her as can't imagine my mom would do this to me.

"Anna (Brother) I can't believe my eyes. Is it you who raised your voice in front of mom?" questioned Siddharth shockingly.

"Shut up Siddhu (Akshadh's brother) Can't you inform me about this?" I said with rage fuming in my eyes.

"When we called to inform about this  you were busy. I know it is wrong but we didn't do purposely anna. Please understand," he said calmly.

"I can't adjust this Siddhu. I dont know what you and mom do to stop further but you should stop this wedding. I can't marry her," I said seriously without looking at my mom because I dont have guts to face my mom's worried face.

"Anna, please take rest now, we shall discuss about this later," his brother said convincingly.

"How could you take this easier Siddhu? How could I take rest peacefully? Can't you tell me atleast before going?" I said hitting my hand in the wall.

"Anna, we knew that you are not interested in rituals, marriage etc but how can mom leave you as single life long? Also, one day when we talk about your marriage you showed green signal. Did you forget that?" He asked me that makes me engrossed in my thoughts. Yes he is right! After getting Allen in my life. She becomes my responsibility. I started avoiding marriage talks as I feel no one look after Allen as their own daughter so I decided to be single. I planned to take Allen here after one year but my mother and brother are not aware of it. In-between, Dhiya's entry~ her love for Allen changed my thoughts and feelings completely.

Flashback

I was busy checking the emails in the laptop as I need to send before going to hospital.

"Akshu, atleast have this milk. You are least bothering about your health," said my mom worringly.

"Maa. I will drink. Give it," I said keeping the laptop aside and got the milk cup from her. I took few sip and looking at my brother who was coming with a smile. Usually we woke lately but today he got up at 8.00a.m.

"Good morning Maa and Anna," he greeted us.

My mom squeezed his ears, "Is it time to wake up? Did you have any habits as Akshu has? I don't know when are you going to change," my mom started and I handed the cup to her. Whenever my mom start this topic my brother would start about my marriage topic. To escape from that, I tried to support my brother.

"Maa. Leave him. Let him sleep peacefully until he get into a nice job," I  supported.

"Maa, Job!!! never!!! I am going to do only business and next when will you see a pair for me? Your elder son is not

ready to marry atleast don't spoil my age!" He said winking at me. My brother is very affectionate towards me and he wants me to get married soon and he is reciprocating the question to get favor answer. I knew his trick.

My mom hit him in his hand, "who said Akshu is not ready to marry? He will marry once I show his girl, Isn't Akshuu?"

I nodded as it was getting late to hospital.

"Anna, Are you sure?"

"I am very happy Akshu," my mom said happily. After a long time I am seeing her real happiness.

"Your happiness meant a lot to me maa. I would never stand against your happiness," I said and bid bye to them as it was getting late.

Flashback Ends

"Anna, we knew that you are not interested in rituals, marriage etc but how can mom leave you as single life long? Also, one day when we talk about your marriage you showed green signal. Did you forget that?" He asked me that makes me engrossed in my thoughts.

"For God's sake you both have arranged engagement before the wedding. Atleast stop the wedding now. I can't marry and love her in my lifetime," I said in high pitched tone.

"Anna, Don't you know her before itself ?" He asked shocking me.
