The story follows Buck—a blend of St. Bernard and Scotch collie—all through his excursion as a sled canine. Buck's story starts at the place of Judge Miller in Santa Clara, California. Here, Buck is an adored tamed pet, living easily. In any case, after gold is found in the Yukon an area of Canada, Buck is taken by one of Miller's grounds-keepers as the interest for sled canines increments. The nursery worker offers Buck to canine dealers and makes a benefit, and Buck is before long delivered north, mishandled and beaten as he goes. With Buck as the lead canine, the group starts making trips in record time. The group, alongside Buck, is at the end offered to a mail transporter who powers the canines to convey strenuously substantial burdens. This work brings about the demise of one of the canines.
