JENNY'S POV

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" The kitchen door barged open as I saw the least person I was expecting. It was Josh and he seemed to have overheard my conversation with Clara as there was obvious anger in his eyes.

I understand he loves the prince and is only being loyal to him but I feared he might rat me out since he loves the prince almost more than he loves his life.

"Nothing, just taking the food to Lenora " I casually replied in an attempt to play it off in case he didn't hear anything.

"Stop with your pretense, I know you've put something in her food, I saw you and you're working with her mother?" He spat in disgust and I knew I was done for.

He was going to report me to the prince and the prince won't definitely take it lightly with me, only the moon goddess knows what might become of me afterwards.

"I'm so ashamed of you right now!" Josh sneered as he turned his back to leave the kitchen but I couldn't let him leave, not like this if he leaves my presence then not only would my plan be ruined but the prince would do some horrible things to me.

"Josh, wait!" I called out his name and he surprisingly waited but I could feel his muscles being tensed. I had no explanation to give and nothing to say to him.

I couldn't try to fight him as I knew he would easily knock me to the ground and that would only make everything worse so I needed to think smart. He's a man afterwards and I've seen the way he looks at me most of the time.

"You can't tell the prince or anyone else about this Josh '' I pleaded as I walked towards him with my hands slowly snaking itself around his waist from behind. He seemed to have reacted to my touch and I knew I was doing the right job.

"The Prince will definitely be the first to know about your evil scheme!" He threatened but I could easily sense they were all empty as his body was hard against my touch and lust was evident in his aura.

Josh is a good man, handsome and well built with good character but he isn't just Alaric and I wouldn't stop till I get what I want, I want Alaric alone and not even him will come my way.

I could feel him trying to resist the urge as he squinted his eyes shut but no matter how hard he tried, I was in full control of his body.

"Stop it you bitch!" He cursed as he instantly removed himself from my grip and walked out of the door leaving me dumb struck.

I started to panic when he walked away. The prince hasn't been in his best mood lately and wouldn't hesitate to pass on judgement to me. He had also warned me back on the plane not to try anything funny around him but here I am doing everything it'll take to win him to me. I'm doomed.

With sweaty hands and feet, I immediately rushed out of the room with the tray of food in my hands, at least I needed to deliver Lenora's food according to the Prince before anything gets funnier. And maybe I'll think of something to do while I take a walk to Lenora's room.

Luckily, she was still asleep so I had left the food beside her bed as I watched her sleep peacefully without knowing the amount of poison that was in her and that she was slowly dying.

I wasn't like this and I've never been like this, I was always the nice, goody two shoes girl but everything changed with Alaric. I get jealous of every lady he has ever met but eventually brushed them off since it was obvious he would never settle for any of them.

I eventually realized that I wasn't the only one that wanted her dead but even her biological mother did so everything fell into place for me and was made easy until Josh had to catch me red handed. I just hope he hasn't found the prince yet. Fuck his life.

I tried to calm myself down knowing full well that the prince had a bad temper and if Josh had happened to tell him already then I wouldn't be so comfortable standing on my own two feet right now.

I walked back to my tiny room as I sat on the wooden bed, compared to that of Lenora's which I just entered. She's just a mere young wolf yet she gets to have all of the luxury that will soon be mine once I finally have Alaric and he marks me.

"Jenny!" A gruff voice called outside my room and I recognised it as being Josh's voice so I instantly opened the door for him to come In.

He slowly took some steps in as he stared at me straight in the eyes while he locked the door behind him. I immediately sensed where this was going with the look on his eyes. He had evident lust in them and I seemed to be his little bitch right now.

"I didn't tell the Prince " He said with his eyes still locked on mine.

"I realized, " I responded with a nod.
