Chapter 16: Chapter 16

"Take this!" He ordered as he approached me with two tablets in his hand and a cup of water from the small table beside the bed.

I stared at the drugs for some while as I contemplated whether or not to use the drugs, I didn't trust him and wasn't sure they were safe.

"The doctor gave them to me" he said like he was somehow reading my mind and I nodded my head as I collected the tablets from him and gulped them down with the water beside me.

"Thanks" I said but he didn't reply to me as he went back to sit down.

My mind was filled with different thoughts as I kept on thinking of how I could make him go far away from the room without him noticing anything.

I wasn't with my phone and there was no way I could reach out to Asher to do something to distract him because I didn't think I could solely handle everything on my own.

"Uhm" I voiced out as he turned his attention to me.

"What?" He asked with his cold voice and I scoffed at the fact that he had returned to his asshole self.

"I..I uhm need some coffee" I said and he raised a brow at me like I was crazy.

"Okay" he finally agreed and I released a deep breath I didn't know I had been holding.

"Get me some coffee" he ordered as he spoke into his phone and my smile fell immediately because I knew there was no way he would leave this room.

It didn't take up to a few minutes before we heard a knock on the door. He stood up to answer the person and collected the cup of coffee from him.

"Thank you" I said as he handed it to me and I took a sip out of it before placing it back on the table.

I had no idea of what to do anymore and was lost in ideas as I suddenly thought of one even though it might not work but how about we give it a try.

I carefully placed my hands on the table beside the bed and knocked off the glass jug and there was a loud noise of shattering glass on the floor.

I flinched at the sound of it even though I had caused it but when I looked at him he had no expression on his face as it was pure blank

He picked up his phone to call someone to clean it up again and I yelled inside of me. But something happened, the call wasn't able to reach the person and he suddenly stood up,the instant he stood up happiness creeped into me.

As he walked out of the door, I tried to get down from the bed but I immediately heard his footsteps coming back in and laid flat.

He walked into the room with a young woman beside him with a mop and broom in her hands. There was no fucking way I would be able to get this gun to Asher.

Minutes passed and he was still in the room without leaving that I suddenly became really impatient and wanted to leave immediately but I had to wait for my drip to finish. There were sometimes when I would curse the drip for not being fast enough.

"Okay!" I heard his voice as I turned to look at him and it seemed like he had just finished receiving a call from someone as his eyes suddenly fell on me and for some reason I don't know about, I immediately shifted my gaze but regretted my actions because it made me feel weird.

I'll be back in a short while, finish your drip and drugs, don't go anywhere!" He ordered before turning his back at me and leaving the room.

I suddenly felt happy as I prayed for whoever would have called him as loud as I could.

I stood up from the bed and made my way to the drawer but the gun had suddenly disappeared and wasn't there anymore.

With confusion in my face I searched the whole drawer because I was sure he didn't take anything with him. He only went close to the drawer once and that was when he wanted to give me my drugs but where could the gun be in.

After searching the entire drawer, I thought of giving up but I didn't want to return to Asher like that without anything so in order to prove I was worthy of his love and strong enough I continued my search until I finally got the idea of checking his closet.

I walked to his closet and opened it to see different clothes but nothing like weapons. I searched the entire closet and almost broke down into tears for failing Asher before I stepped on a wood that creaked. It was different from the rest like it had air in it.

I looked closely at the wood and found a rope, I pulled it and the wood was suddenly opened, to my greatest surprise I found a lot of weapons there and couldn't contain my happiness as I took two of the smallest guns I could find.

Without wasting much time, I hid the guns in my clothes as I walked out of his room. I wanted to go straight to Asher's room because I was scared I could find the beast In my room but I had no idea where Asher's room was located.

I suddenly remembered the day I was running after him and he entered a room before I could catch up with him. I tried to remember the number on the door and I was lucky enough I remembered.

"062!" I shrieked in happiness like I had just won a jackpot as I traced the numbers till I got to it.

I knocked on the door and waited for a response before the door finally opened and I came face to face with the last person I wanted to see.

"Ugh!" She scoffed and was about to close the door before I stopped it with my legs.

"Why the fuck are you in Asher's room, he's my mate and not yours?" I yelled while she stared at me like I was some kind of mad woman that I had to control every fibre in me so as to not hit her face hard.

"You're mistaken, just like you're a mistake yourself" she said with a smirk and I was going to slap her hard before a voice stopped me.

"What the heck do you think you're doing?" Ariel said and I immediately withdrew my hand.

"Scums" Tala hissed before slamming the door really loud.

"What has gotten into you?" She asked and I could tell she was angry with the way her voice sounded.

"Isn't this Asher's room?" I asked since she's the only one I could believe at the moment.

"Oh no, Asher's room number is 128" she said and I suddenly felt embarrassed but confused at the same time because I had seen Asher walking into this room.

"But...I saw Asher walking into this room"I stuttered and she stared at me for some while and tried to act surprised but I know when she's keeping something from me.

"What do you know?" I inquired to know more as my eyes burnt themselves into her soul.

"Nothing," she answered.

"I hate the way you have been behaving especially since we came to the pack house" I honestly said to her before walking away in an attempt to find Asher's room.

I just wish no one had seen the gun I had carried on me and that was why I really didn't want to cause a scene that would lead to the whole house knowing two armed guns are on me.

I was getting closer to Asher's room as his smell became stronger, I finally got to his room and knocked on the door. He opened it but didn't say a word to me as he looked at me searching my body.

"Where are they?" He asked and my smile fell,I had expected him to at least care again. I had just passed out twice on the same day and he had no sort of pity towards me.

"Here" I said as I brought out the gun from where I had hidden them,he snatched them from my hands before I could even place it on his palms.

"Good girl"he said again as he pulled me into his room by my waist and placed a kiss on my lips.

This time it wasn't soft nor was it swift but it was all over my body and he was moving really fast,too fast..

"We can finally get to be happy alone without having to give a fuck about the monster" he said as he disconnected his lips from mine.

I wasn't totally happy because there were some things on my mind that I had to say to him, especially about Tala.

"Asher?" I called out his name as he went to drop off the guns in his wardrobe before coming back to me.

"Yeah, what's wrong?" He asked and it felt like this was somehow the first time he actually took the time to ask me what was wrong with me.

"I saw you walking into room 062 the other day and went there thinking it was your room but I met Tala instead" I sighed but he placed his hands on my cheeks as he carefully caressed them.

"Don't worry about that Lenora" he said as he made me lie on the bed while he was now on top of me.

"Is that why I'm always smelling her on you?" I asked but he didn't reply as he connected his lips to mine,sucking on my lower lips and gently biting it.

I was not done talking, yet I couldn't push him off because I also wanted this and it was messing with my mind.

He removed his lips from mine as he kissed my neck and trailed down to my neck bone, sucking lightly on it that it made me moan.

"Asher, I can't stand her smell around you" I tried to say but my voice came out as a moan the moment I felt his finger in my vaginal.

I wasn't expecting him to do that to me and if felt so fucking good that I no longer wanted to bring up Tala so he would continue with what he was doing.

"Fuck!" I moaned as he rubbed his thumb on my clitoris with his lips still tracing kisses on my body before connecting themselves to my boobs and he started to suck on it like it was some type of lollipop.

"Ash!" I moaned loudly and almost feared that others would hear me.

"What if someone comes in?" I asked but I could feel his body tensing.

"Stop talking!" He ordered as he increased his pace and pressure, his finger was now thrusting really hard and fast and before I knew it he increased it to two fingers and it started to hurt but he wouldn't stop as he kept on thrusting deeper into me.

"Please stop!" I begged but it came out as a whimper, I was suddenly feeling irritated and wasn't liking it like I was earlier on.

He was meant to be gentle with me knowing full well I haven't done any of these but he just went in hard.

"This is why I have issues with you sometimes, you're not strong enough to handle external pressures and you let them weigh you down!" He scoffed and removed his fingers from me as he stood up like nothing had just happened.

I couldn't believe what had just happened because it felt like he had just used my feelings and body to lay a fact, a hurtful fact and reminder that I was weak.
