Chapter 244: Chapter 244

There were around twenty items inside the storage ring that Azrael had found beneath the Sanguinal Throne.

Six of them were blood beads, while one was the exit stone he had already used.

Azrael already had a rough idea of what the remaining items were, thanks to Nalvadir’s explanation, so he felt a quiet excitement rising within him now that he finally had the time to examine them properly.

The first thing he took out from the storage ring was a small, rice-sized seed enveloped in a faint green aurora.

As he looked at the seed, his status window automatically displayed its information.

---) The Seed of Yggreth: A small, glowing seed with patterns resembling constellations. This seed was once part of the World Tree.

1. World Genesis: When planted, it can terraform a dead planet into a living world over several days, complete with an atmosphere, ecosystem, and leyline network.

2. Spirit Connection: Grants the owner of the seed command over all plant life and natural spirits across the entire planet.

3. World Root Defense: The planet infused with this seed becomes semi-sentient, capable of generating planetary defenses such as elemental storms, root barriers, and natural regeneration.

(Note: Once used, the Seed of Yggreth binds permanently to the planet it grows in and cannot be retrieved or replanted elsewhere.)

Azrael read the details of the seed, and a look of surprise appeared on his face.

"Something that can transform a dead planet into a living one..." He muttered under his breath, thinking about Planet Arkanis, where the Slayers Academy was located.

From what he knew, Planet Arkanis used to be barren and lifeless, but the Federation had later transformed it into a habitable world after discovering the entrance to Eonrift there.

’Could it be that they used a Seed of Yggreth to transform the planet?’ He wondered, his lips curling slightly upward at the thought.

Although he wasn’t sure if the Federation had indeed used such a seed, he was absolutely certain that the item was incredibly valuable.

Even if he didn’t use it himself, exchanging it at the academy would undoubtedly earn him a tremendous number of credits.

Azrael carefully put the seed back into the storage ring and turned his attention to the remaining 13 items.

Among them, nine were various rare materials, such as Star Core Marrow, the bone of a planetary-level beast, Dark Terra Stone, and a few others, each capable of being used to craft artifacts and props ranging from Legend-level to Planetary-level.

However, Azrael didn’t pay much attention to these materials, as he had no immediate use for them.

He stored them away and focused on the four remaining items inside the ring.

---) The Stellar Lock (One-Time Use Planetary-Level Prop): A planetary-level defensive prop made from aged Sea Stellar Gold and Star Core Marrow, infused with the power of stars. When the wearer faces a lethal attack, the prop automatically activates, saving them from death.

Azrael took out a golden-colored earring from the storage ring and examined it with a faint smile.

"Although it’s not as good as the Water Spirit Pendant, it’s still reassuring to have something that can save my life in an emergency," He muttered, immediately putting on the earring without hesitation.

---) Spear of Frostsong (Legend-Level Artifact): Forged from the spine of a Frost Dragon that once ruled the Northern Glaciers of Planet Volna. The spear has a razor-sharp tip, infused with millennia-old ice-blue metal capable of piercing even a dragon’s toughest defense.

---) Level Requirement: Level 35 and above

1. Frozen Dominion: The user can project a domain up to fifty kilometers wide where the temperature instantly plummets, freezing the surrounding moisture into ice crystals that can be controlled telekinetically. Within this field, ice-based attacks gain double power. Requires at least 100 points of cosmic energy to activate. The energy cost increases with the domain’s range.

2. Pierce of Absolute Zero: The spear unleashes an icy thrust so cold that it freezes both energy and space for a split second. Anything caught within its range is slowed or shattered by the extreme cold. Requires 200 points of cosmic energy to activate.

3. Spirit of the Frost Dragon: Within the spear resides the remnant soul of a Frost Dragon, granting it temporary sentience. Once per day, the user can summon the dragon’s spectral form to unleash a devastating breath of frozen starlight that freezes and obliterates everything in its path.

Azrael gazed at the light-blue spear floating before him with a thoughtful expression before quietly putting it away.

---) Aegis of Dawnsong (Legend-Level Artifact): A pendant forged from fragments of a dead star by a Dwarven blacksmith who swore to protect the innocent from darkness. The pendant carries the will of its creator and can only be used by those with a pure heart.

---) Level Requirement: Level 35 and above

1. Lightward Barrier: Generates an expanding dome of radiant light that can withstand attacks up to the Epic-tier for a short duration. The barrier can absorb kinetic, elemental, and energy-based damage, converting part of it into cosmic energy to restore the wielder. Requires 150 points of cosmic energy to activate.

2. Spatial Deflection: The pendant bends space around the wearer, allowing them to redirect or distort incoming attacks. Beams, spells, or projectiles may curve harmlessly away or rebound toward the attacker. Requires 250 points of cosmic energy to activate. Updates are released by novel•fire.net

3. Dawn Reversal: Once per day, the Aegis can release a blinding wave of holy light that forms a protective cocoon within a ten-meter radius, capable of withstanding a planet-level explosion for several seconds.

Azrael raised an eyebrow as he read the details of the pendant, particularly intrigued by the note that it carried the will of its creator and could only be used by someone with a "pure heart."

"What does it even mean to have a pure heart?" He mused with a pondering expression.

Still, he didn’t dwell too much on it as the pendant’s level requirement was far beyond his current strength anyway.

Finally, Azrael looked at the last item inside the ring, a small blade, only a few inches long.

Azrael frowned slightly when he saw this as Nalvadir hadn’t mentioned anything about this one.

With a thought, he took the small blade out of the ring, and its details appeared before him.

---) Abyss (1/3): One of the three Fragments of Abyss, a Soul Armament that shattered during the Ancient War.
