If you've read the second version of my [Custom monster system] story it's like that. Alexander Drake is killed by a bear he was hunting while and wonders "Is this it?". The answer was obviously NO! He meets a powerful being after his death and is offered the deal of an afterlifetime granting him the powers of a forbidden Siren in the world of Borderlands. All is not smooth sailing for Alex however as the being has made him work for his power and that means he must put himself in danger but he doesn't mind, after what's the point otherwise?
