Snap A Finger

Dante

Natasha charged at Rhazien again and she tried to hit him, but Rhazien suddenly grabbed her head with both hands and I gasped. No, no, no, no.

"Rhazien, no, no," I tried to convince Rhazien to stop and I slowly moved closer to him, with my heart beating rapidly. I can't explain how scared to death I am right now.

"Good riddance," Rhazien said and instantly snapped Natasha neck, till her head was facing backward.

"Natashaaaaaa!" I ran towards Natasha as she fell to the the ground and I hkd her body.

I felt a sharp pain in my chest and I felt tears sting the corners of my eyes. It felt as if I had been stabbed in the heart and my world as crashing. Flashes of Kiara lying dead on the hospital bed went through my head and I breathed heavily.

I felt anger well up inside ofm, threatening to burn everything around me and I stood up.

"I'm going to kill you!" I yelled and I hit Rhazien on the chest. I pulled out a regular silver dagger from my pocket and slashed it at him, but his hand turned to black goo, engulfed the dagger and flung it away.

The black goo surrounded my neck suddenly and I coughed as I felt like I was drowning. The goo solidified around my neck and slowly lifted me off the ground.

Nathan tried to help, but Luther threw him back.

"Can I kill him now?" Rhazien asked, facing Pedro and I hoped that he'll still be after seeing me suffer.

"He has caused enough trouble already. End him." Pedro said.

I looked at Rhazien's other hand and sharp claws slowly extended from his fingers until the were about an inch long.

I knew he was going to rip my heart out and he was about to dive his hand into my chest, when a large blue blast of energy hit Rhazien.

The blast pushed him away and broke the solidified goo from his shoulder. The goo became liquid again and fell to the floor, disappearing.

I looked at Rhazien who was on the floor and his arm reappeared. What the hell was that. .

"Natasha." Nathan muttered in surprise and I slowly turned around.

My mouth hung open as I saw Natasha standing and breathing. I felt so shocked, but also happy at the same time. How was this possible.

I looked closer and noticed that she looked different.

Her eyes were dark and her lips were a dark shade of red. Her face was also pale, she looked like a Vampire.

Vampire?? Wait, no, that blue blast, it came from her right.

"What!" Luther exclaimed in surprise.

"Surprised to see me?" Nathasha asked with a smile, not the regular kind of smile. The smile looked devious and her voice sounded icy.

Rhazien got up on his feet and I saw the dark lines on his face move around his face as he gritted his teeth.

"You just won't go to hell that easily, will you?" Rhazien asked and Natasha smirked.

"Trust me, I've been in hell for so long and it's high time send the likes of your grandfather and brother there," she replied.

Whatever she was right now, at least she remembered that we are not supposed to kill Rhazien.

"You can't do anything to me," Pedro said defiantly and moved forward.

"Oh, I could crush your bones without breaking a sweat," she retorted, staring at Pedro like he was some useless piece of trash.

Her voice sent chills down my spine. What happened to her? What is she? How did she survive that neck snap? Why does she look like a Vampire? How did she fire that magical blast? Why is she acting so different.

I couldn't stop all the questions running through my mind. I wanted answers, but she hadn't even looked at me since she woke up, or came back to life, whatever.

"Maybe you're just confident in the control you have over Rhazien," she added, pointing at Rhazien flimsily.

"But you haven't met me," she said and then chuckled, "let me rephrase that. You haven't met anything like me."

I remembered the Petrova Witch mentioning that she wasn't something that I would see everyday. So what the hell is she?

"Pretty cocky huh?" Pedro smiled and shook his head in amusement.

"I think that term is used for unqualified losers like you and guess what...." Natasha smiled suspensefully.

"You're about to loose something else," she smiled and blue rays of light began to dance around her fingers.

That is magic! How is she doing magic?

"Enough of your weightless threats and parlor tricks," Pedro said, hissing in annoyance.

"You are going to lose the control over Rhazien and I won't need that dagger," Natasha said walking closer gracefully and I saw that her hair was darker and longer.

"I'm more powerful than you can imagine and I just need to snap a finger to turn on Rhazien's humanity and break your control over him," she said and my eyes widened in surprise.

What? She can do that?

"I can and I will," she said as if she read my mind, but I'm pretty sure everyone else here thought the same thing.

"You're bluffing, you can't possibly do that," Pedro said and scoffed. I thought about it, but I couldn't say anything, she has been doing a lot of surprising things lately and at this point, I can't doubt her if she claims to be able to do anything.

"You sure about that?" She asked.

"Keep the answer till I prove that I can do it to you," she said and the rays of light around her fingers grew brighter.

"Just....like....this." She snapped her fingers.
