Chapter 122: Chapter 122

Blood Stains
Natasha.
My eyes shot open all of sudden and I gasped as I jerked up from my bed. I looked around and saw that I was in my room lying on my bed.
I suddenly remembered everything that happens with Rhazien and I placed my palm on my forehead. I was having a terrible headache.
Did I pass out?? I remembered feeling so helpless as Rhazien siphoned me and sucked the life from me, it was so painful, and the next moment, he wasn't. It suddenly looked as if Rhazien was the one being siphoned and he looked like he was in pain before flinging away all of a sudden and I didn't do anything.
I also remembered that he mentioned my magic being painful to him, and Pedro he to take him away. Well, I guess that one less way that he can kill me.
They might come back to attack after they get themselves together again. We need to get that dagger I saw in Landon's memories. I need to see what Dante is up to right now.
I climbed down from the bed and as soon as my feets touched the ground, the room I was in faded into a large, open meadow.
I looked around and sighed. This looked very familiar. Infact, this was the third time I'll be in this goddamn dream.
The sun was shining and there were no clouds in the sky.
The smell of freshly cut grass drifted across the meadow with the clippings scattered over the turf. The branches of the giant oak tree swayed to and fro in the wind, shaking the leaves, so they fell like raindrops, their green color fading and replaced by patches of brown.
The meadow was spacious, with a collection of trees and bushes guarding the perimeter.
The first time, I saw my mom talking to me, the second time, I saw some strange things I didn't understand.
So, what am I supposed to see this time.
I noticed a swift movement behind me and I quickly turned around, but there was no one there.
I felt a shiver in my skin as fear crawled beneath it and I folded my arms against each other, rubbing it.
If felt so similar to the second time I was here, when I saw those replicas of me.
I noticed the swift movement behind me again and I turned around to see the Vampire replica of me standing there.
Her hair was darker and her face was pale. Her lips were dark red in color and she had fangs that were stained with blood.
I saw a lady appear in her front, a different lady this time and the lady pushed her hair aside to expose her neck.
My Vampire replica immediately sank her fangs into the lady and sucked her dry of blood before dropping her to the floor.
She wiped her mouth with a palm and grinned at me before whispering, "I'll be there soon."
"Sooner than you can imagine."
She and the lady slowly faded away and I felt another presence behind me.
I turned around and I saw the calmer replica of me slowly walk towards a tree.
As she got to the three, she placed her palms on it, closing her eyes. I watched as the leaves of the tree got greener and beautiful flowers bloomed on the there.
She took her hands down and opened her eyes, facing me. "PVery soon."
She faded away too and I looked around, but no other replica appeared. I raised up my hand to cover my fave as a bright blinding light shone and as it got bigger and bigger, everything faded back into darkness.
My eyes shot open instantly.
I began to panting heavily, staring at the ceiling for a while before climbing down from the bed.
I walked out of the room immediately and I almost bumped into Nathan who seemed to be coming to my room.
"You're up, I was just coming to check on you when I heard you gasp. Are you okay?" He asked and I assured him with a nod.
"Yes, I'm fine. Just an ugly dream."
"Where's Dante?" I asked.
"He and Landon went to the Petrova sisters to get the daggers you saw in Landon's memory," he replied.
"How did they get into the pack earlier?" I asked and Nathan's countenance became dull.
"The guards at the gate, they were killed," he replied and I gasped in shock.
I wanted to be mad at Rhazien, but I couldn't, I saw what happened in Landon's memories and he didn't mean to do all of those things.
He regretted everything so much the instant he became himself.
This was all Pedro's fault, he had the most angelic outward appearance, but beneath all those layers of charm and positivity, he was really a beast.
"Did they mention when they would be coming back?" I asked and Nathan pressed his lips into a tight line, shaking his head.
"They didn't, but it could be at anytime we don't expect."
"Then we don't wait for them to attack us, we go to them first," I said quickly and I walked past Nathan.
"What?"
Nathan ran past me and stood in front of me.
I sighed, stopping before I could collide with him and I looked up at him.
"What are you talking about, what do you want to do?" He asked me with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, calm down. I'm not going to chase after them. I can't be that irrational," I replied and I continued walking. He quickly stepped aside before I could collide with him.
I've done this a few times in highschool and even when I wanted to track down Bastien, but I've never done this on a large scale.
I stopped as I got to the part of the hallway where the confrontation happened earlier and I looked closely at the cracked wall where Rhazien smashed into earlier.
I smiled as I saw blood stains on the wall.
I looked up at Nathan and smiled, "I'm going to track down Bastien."
