Chapter 105: Chapter 105

Address

Viktor.

We both walked back to the sitting room and I sat down on a couch next to him. I smiled as I saw him toying with his fingers. I knew he had something on his mind that he wanted to ask, but because of everything I said earlier, he might not want to.

"You can ask what you want to ask." I smiled and he faced me immediately.

I smiled and faced him, "your special abilities. How do you have them??" He asked quickly and I smiled. I shifted closer to him and put my hand at the back of his head, pulling him closer.

"Let me show you." I leaned in towards him and kissed him.

I showed him everything I knew about how I was born and we continued talking for the whole day till we both fell asleep.

As soon as Landon left, I quickly rushed to my room, took off my clothes and entered the bathroom.

Dante would be so annoyed that I am late. I quickly took my bait and got dressed before rushing out of the house and driving off to the restaurant where we were supposed to meet.

I was the one with the necessary documents and agreements, so the meeting couldn't start without me. How could I have slept off?

Even though it felt so uncomfortable sleeping on the couch, I felt so relaxed, plus my alarm was inside my room.

I pulled the gear, driving faster knowing that I would still see Landon at the meeting. In ten minutes I got to the restaurant and I pulled up. I recognized Dante's car and I sighed, prepared to hear him get angry and yell at I me.

I walked into the restaurant and looked up to see the table where Nathan, Dante and Mr. Zon sat together.

I breathed out deeply and I walked up to them, "Sorry I'm late," I apologized and sat down.

"Keep that sorry till you see the consequence in your paycheck at the end of the month," Dante replied, rolling his eyes.

I kept myself from laughing. He was kidding me right?? I wasn't working because I need the money, I am part Vampire and I can compell an entire bank if I want to.

I simply nodded and set my briefcase on the table, bringing out the documents.

"Where's Landon?" Dante asked and I realized he wasn't here.

"He told me he was coming, he should be here," I replied.

The meeting continued for a while and every minute, my concentration reduced more and more. Landon still hadn't come and I was getting worried.

He was in a hurry when he left and since he had to first stop at his house, he should have gotten here at least 20 minutes after I arrived.

"You said Mr. Cartel is on his way, and we are almost done," Mr. Zon said and I smiled lightly.

"Yes, that was what he told me, something must have held him down," I replied with a smile.

"Well, I'm sure you'll see him, and when you do, brief him about everything," Dante said with a fake smile and I sighed.

Dante's phone rang and he excused himself as he went to pick the call. He came back a few minutes later and stood in front of us.

"I think we've all come to an agreement now, there's somewhere I really need to be," Dante said and I sighed on the inside in relief.

Landon should have been here and I was worried that something bad had happened to him. Could it be Papa?

I didn't think he would act so quickly, I thought his focus will be on getting me back right now.

"Alright. Have a nice day," Mr. Zon said and he stood up, adjusting his flashy peach tuxedo before walking away.

Dante and Nathan also stood up to leave and I nodded before packing up my briefcase, carrying it, and walking out of the restaurant.

I climbed into the car and I started it quickly. I didn't know where Landon lived so I didn't know where to go.

I knew where his Gym was, so maybe if I go there, someone might be able to direct me to his house.

I picked up my phone, steering the car with one hand and dialing Landon's number with my other hand.

I continued dialing his number over and over again and his phone was ringing, but he wasn't picking it up.

His Gym wasn't far from the restaurant so I soon got there, and I pulled over by the road. I climbed down quickly, still dialing the number everytime it rang out and I walked into the Gym.

I looked around and I spotted a instructor in the Gym who I have met here before.

"Mr. Stone,-" he said as he saw me and he took an excuse from the person he was assisting before walking up to me.

"Sorry, but Mr. Cartel hasn't come here today," he said since he knew that I would be most likely here to see Landon.

"Oh," I pretended not to know.

"I really need to see him urgently. Do you know where he lives??" I asked and he nodded.

"Yes," he said, "I'll be right back." He walked away and I sighed, dialing Landon's number again.

It rang out again and I looked up as the instructor walked back, holding out a card to me. I collected the card from him and saw that it had an address.

"That is his address," he said and I nodded.

"Thank you." I smiled bleakly and I hurried out of the Gym. I walked back to my car and climbed in, starting the car. I dropped the card on the seat next to me and dialed Landon's number again.

It rang for a while and then the call was accepted.

"Hello, Landon," I quickly said, but I didn't get any response.

"Landon, is that you?" I asked and the voice of the person who responded caused my heart to skip.

Oh fuck!
