The family of Dr. Badmus Shaphat started having trouble after Dr. Badmus who was the President’s personal physician was implicated when Aliena, the President’s daughter’s corpse was discovered in his hospital. The angry president locked up Dr. Badmus and seized all his properties because he suspected Dr. Badmus was working with his political enemies to bring him down. Dr. Badmus did not allow his wife Mrs. Basma Shaphat to work because he believed he was capable of taking care of his family so when the table turned, the baton fell on his first son, Nabeel who had to drop out of school and started engaging in odd jobs to cater for his mother and siblings. He swore he would do anything within his means to make sure his family was comfortable. Nabeel in ordered to provide for his family joined a group of friends in criminal activities and at the end of the day, his younger brother Majeed whom he sponsored in school and who later became a police officer was the one who killed him. Lieutenant General Nasir Akeebilahi was a trusted allied of President Muriel Rehema, he was a godfather to the president’s daughter, Aliena whom he eventually impregnated and to cover up his misdeed ended up killing her. He had to commit series of murders to cover up his tracks and it got to a time he started planning to topple the government when he felt nemesis was catching up on him.
