BELLA

We talked about so many things. I couldn't stop staring at him. I had thought I was never going to see him again. I thought I would have to keep seeing him only in different magazines. I thought I would have to live the rest of my life in regret. I thought I won't be able to tell him how sorry I am.

But seeing him today, I felt like the happiest person. It was a good thing to see his face once more. To be able to touch him once more. To be able to tell him I love him. He held my hand and said, "go home with me"

I stared at him in surprise. Why would he want me to go with him?. "Y-you want me to go home with you?" I asked stuttering slightly.

He nodded. "I missed you. I want you. I want to watch you fall asleep in my arms. I want to watch you wake up beside me. I want to spend some time with you. Is that too much to ask?"

"No. It isn't too much to ask. I will go with you"

He pulled me closer to him and kissed me. "Thanks"

I chuckled. "I think we should leave before I change my mind"

He led me to where his car was packed and opened the door. "After you, my lady"

I smiled and entered the car. As the chauffeur drove off, I decided to text my mom I won't be coming home.

She texted back. "I knew it. Enjoy your day, baby girl"

I smiled. I wasn't expecting such a reply from her. I guess like Jay said, my mom, has accepted him finally.

"Welcome to my humble abode," Jay said as we walked into his house. I was happy I agreed to follow him home. I wasn't ready to let go of him.

I smiled. "It's a nice house"

He held my waist and I froze. "Are you proud of me?" He asked and I nodded. "Do you miss me?" He asked. His voice, all hoarse and husky, gave me the shivers in a really good way. I could feel his breath on my neck. "Do you want me?"

I tried to hold my breath. "I-i do"

He turned me over and kissed me. "I have always wanted this"

I nodded in agreement. For the briefest moment, we stared at each other. The ringing of his cell phone was an unwelcome intrusion into our private rosy world. He moved away to pick his call. "We aren't don't yet," he said and winked

I grinned back with all the maturity of a smitten puppy. I watched him leave and I smiled. I was sure I was ready. I wanted him as much as he wanted me.

"Wake up, sleepy" Jay cooed

I opened my eyes slowly and was welcomed with the prettiest smile. Yesterday's incident flow through my mind and I blushed. "Someone is blushing," he said and I flushed in embarrassment. "Good morning, pretty"

I smiled. "Good morning"

He kissed my forehead, and then my cheeks before finally settling his lips on mine. We kissed for a while until his phone had to interrupt. I groaned and he chuckled. "Work calls," he said disappointed.

I sat up, dragging the duvet cover. "I guess I have to go to work too"

"Not until I get your breakfast ready"

"You.."

He kissed me. "I already prepared your bath. I will go get something ready for breakfast"

"You don't have to..."

"I will be right back," he said and closed the door behind him. I smiled.

I stood up to take my bath and changed into the cloth he kept for me. I joined him downstairs for breakfast. He offered to drop me at home and asked me not to go to the office. He said he would see me by evening. We said goodbyes and I turned to leave but he held me. "Not so fast, young lady"

"Huh?"

"Kiss me"

I chuckled. "I..."

"Just kiss me already"

I laughed. "You're such a cry baby," I said and finally kissed him.

"So what are the plans for the wedding?" Dia asked after I told them Jay and I are back together.

I rolled my eyes. "We are not getting married yet. We are just getting to know each other again"

She frowned. "What are you saying?. Do you want him to run away again?"

"I left him not the other way round"

"Whatever. Just get married already. I need some nephews and nieces. I need someone to call me aunty already"

I frowned. "Ain't you suppose to give me a nephew first?. You've been married for how many years now?. Three?"

"No!!. It's two years, not three" Dia defended

"That's not the point. You are married. You should have a baby already. Katie got married last year and she is already expecting a baby"

"I ain't Katie, ok?"

"I know but why do I feel something is wrong or is there something you're hiding from me?" I asked

She groaned. "Stop asking me that. I'm not ready to be a mother yet"

"And I am not ready to be a wife yet"

The door opened and Katie walked in. "I knew you would be here". Dia scoffed. "And why are you home today, Bell. Ain't you suppose to be at work?" Katie asked

I rolled my eyes. "Can't I have fun with my friends?"

Dia chuckled. "Jay is back. And by the way, you can't call her Bell anymore. Only Jay can"

"Are you being serious?. Jay is back?" Katie asked, in surprise

Dia nodded. "I saw him. He came to drop her home this morning"

Katie frowned. "You did not sleep at your place, Dia?. Are you not on good terms with your husband?"

Dia scoffed. "That's not the point here. Jay dropped Bella off this morning. After leaving the house since yesterday"

Katie batted her lashes. "Wait. He dropped you off this morning?. Did you sleepover at his place?"

I groaned. "I..."

"Did you guys finally spend some time together?" Katie asked winking

I knew what she meant but I ignored her. There was no way I was going to tell them that. "She wouldn't answer that" Dai answered

I groaned. "Can you..."

"Oh, mine. You're blushing" Katie yelled. "Oh. I'm so happy for you. I am"

I sighed. "I..."

Dia frowned. "Why didn't you tell me"

"I was going to say it but..."

"My friend is shy," Dia said

"I'm not shy, ok. I kept quiet because I know you will tease me. Just like you're doing now"

Dia chuckled. "I guess we should start planning the wedding. I can't wait to see my friend married. I'm so happy for you"

I laughed. "You..."

The door opened and mom walked in. She was smiling and I knew she had something up her sleeve. "He is here" she announced

I furrowed my brows. Jay is here. I thought he left some hours ago. Why is he here again?. "Did he?..."

"Dia, come help me out with some stuff. And I need to know why you ain't ready to be a mother yet. And Katie, ain't you staving your baby. You should get something to eat and join us in my room"

Katie nodded, rubbing her protruding stomach. "I'm damn hungry"

I frowned. "Are you guys trying to leave me alone?"

Mom winked. "I will send him upstairs"

They left and I stood up to change into something better. The door opened and Jayden walked on. "Hi, babe"

I turned and folded my hands. "Did you not leave some hours back?"

He moved closer to me. "I missed you. I couldn't wait until evening"

I smiled. "I miss you too". He kissed me. "Hey, my mom might show up"

He chuckled. "I don't think so"

A FEW MONTHS LATER

Our wedding was a success. We left for our honey and came back some months later. Our wedding was the talk of the town. When we got to the airport, I decided we visit my dad. It was time to fulfill my promise and take Jay to see him.

We bought some flowers and headed to the graveyard. It was quiet as usual. And I felt tears flowing down my face freely. My dad must have been so lonely.

We got to where he was buried and I dropped the flower. "Dad, I failed, you. I did not visit you so soon. I'm sorry, dad. I am..."

Jay placed his hand on my lips. "Shhhh. You did not fail him.". He wiped my tears. "You did it. You fulfill your promise to him. You brought me here to visit him. Not just me. You came with his grandchild"

I watched him bend. "Hi, dad. It's good to see you. Bell told me so much about you and I wished I was able to see you before you left the world. I wished I played some chess with you. I wished I went to the gym with you. But I know you're resting well. I know you're proud of your daughter like we are. I know you would be watching over us and your unborn grandchild. We love you dad and we missed you"

I stared at him. What else can I ask for?. I've got the most caring husband. A beautiful family and soon we will be holding our baby in our arms. Our businesses are going well. Everything is working out well just like we wanted. Just like we imagined.

I smiled. I can't ask for more than this. He held my chin. "You know I love you right"

I nodded. "I do"

"And you know I can't leave without you"

I nodded. "You know I won't hurt you"

I smiled. "I know. And that's the reason I can never stop loving you"

"I love you"

"I love you too" I cooed and we finally kissed

Tears dripped down my face. It all started when I wanted true love. When I wanted to blue my sea. I traveled around the world to blue my sea. And right now, my Sea is finally Blue!!!.
