Chapter 30: Chapter 30

Sophia Celastio

Headache.

My work gave me a real big headache. Tired. Hungry. I looked at my computer for a really long time and typed the keyboard for hours. I need a break. I need a big break.

I miss Aaron too but he’s flying to London to work tonight and I need his hug right now but too bad I can’t. I looked at my watch and it’s 5 p.m.

My work was still pilling up crazily and I just can’t leave it here. I want to go home so so bad, I need a hot bath, watching Netflix or read a book and eat pizza. How I miss pizza!

“I’m tired.” I mumbled and looked at the clock. It’s 7 and I’m done. I worked for good 9 hours nonstop today, I barely eat breakfast and lunch. I just took a sip of coffee and a little bite of banana bread.

I took my bag and walked out from the office. I walked to the lift and went down. Thank God, I didn’t bring my car today or else I might have an accident because of my tiredness.

I got inside the car and told my driver to go straight home. I closed my eyes and leaned back.

“Ms. Celastio.” Suddenly my driver called me and I opened my eyes. I got off from the car and looked around. This is not my house.. it’s Santa Monica Pier.

“Why are you taking me here?” I turned to my driver while he was taking something from the back of the car. He walked to me giving me a new phone. He left me alone.

“What-“ Suddenly the phone beeped and showed a new message.

Unknown :

Go to the Pier

I walked to the Pier slowly and inhaled the refreshing sea breeze. It’s empty and no one was here. I felt more relax than before, I walked slowly to the bridge when suddenly a loud music was starting to play.

It’s been a long and winding journey, but I’m finally here tonight.

Picking up the pieces, and walking back into the light.

Into the sunset of your glory, where my heart and future lies.

There’s nothing like that feeling, when I look into your eyes.

I know this song so well, I can’t help but smile. I walked inside the Pier and watched the lights that shines beautifully.

My dreams came true, when I found you.

I found you, my miracle.

I stopped my track to see a paper on the ground with a red string on it, I took it from the floor.

Unknown :

Follow the red string

I followed the string slowly and it lead me to the ferris wheel. I walked inside and suddenly the employee closed the door and smiled politely. It started to go up.

My eyes caught a letter attached across me, I pulled it.

If you could see, what I see, that you’re the answer to my prayers.

And if you could feel, the tenderness I feel.

You would know, it would be clear, that angels brought me here.

Our first meeting isn’t the best meeting, you kept rejecting me when I tried to flirt with you. That’s the first time Aaron Samuel got rejected.

Thanks to you.

You kept rejecting me and pushing me away, you tried to annoy me but in the end of the day I was never annoyed by you. You always gave me something new and interesting everytime.

I don’t believe love at first, it’s not that I have experience losing someone or something like that but it was because I never drown in one.

Until I met you.. Everything was new to me.

The burn when I touch you, the excitement that I felt everytime I kiss you. The torture that I felt everytime I miss you.

I love you, Sophia Celastio and It gets deeper everyday.

I got jealous when some random guy looked at you, glanced at you or hit on you. I will kill them because you’re mine and everything about you are for my eyes.

I think saying I love you is not enough, I want more than that Sophia.

I want to get up with you everymorning, trying new things with you, have a cute ordinary date with you, laughing about idiot things that I do and just everything that involve you.

You’re a miracle to me.. You change me.

Even my employee said that I change, I’d become more polite, better at controlling my temper and always tried to treat others equally and said thanks.

Geez

I love you, Sophia. I can’t stop saying that.

You’re my life, Sophia. I can’t function without you anymore. So..

Follow the red strings again will you..

The employee gave me a new string and helped me get off the ferris wheel. I followed the string again and found the sweet guy was standing in the middle of the bridge looking at the sea.

“Hey, georgous.” I called and he turned to me.

“You tired?” He asked.

“How do you know?” I asked and way the go ruining the mood, Sophia.

“I know everything about you, Sophia.”

“Of course.” I said and he smirked.

“Marry me, Sophia.” That made my eyes widen.

“Marry me, beautiful. Aren’t you my red string?”

“What if I say no.” I teased him and he stayed calm.

“I’ll drag you to the aisle.”

“You know the answer, Aaron.” I said as I circle my arms around him.

“I don’t.” He pretended to be an idiot.

“Of course, I’ll marry you.” I whispered and he smiled widely. His hand reached inside his suit and took out a small dark blue box.

He opened it and revealed a really beautiful diamond ring. It’s.. just.. perfect.

“From now on, you’re my fiancé and we’re going to have a wedding in a month.” He said and I turned to him.

“How about your dad?”

“Let’s see about him tomorrow, beautiful.” He said and he pulled me to a deep kiss. The kiss was so passionate and I love it.

“My place tonight, love.” He said and I blushed. I smacked his chest lightly. He put the ring on my ring finger and kissed my cheek.

“I love you, Sophia Tiana Celastio.. or should I say Future Mrs. Samuel?” Aaron said and winked.

The End.
