After the lunch, everyone returned to the conference room and settled in their seats.

The secretary of the old master Sheng came with a report file and gave it to the old master. "The new Chairman is Mr. Samuel Andres with fourteen votes", announced the old master and stood up from the head chair.

Sam stood up adjusting his blazer and sat on the head chair. It seemed as if the results were obvious which was a truth. Almost everyone knew who they wanted to vote for knowing the person gonna be a good leader.

After the announcement of the Chairman, Julius was announced as the Vice President of the committee since he got eight votes while Lily got seven votes.

The conference ended by early evening after they discussed a few more things about the upcoming annual gala.

"Xiao Li, do you have any idea of what would be good clothing design to launch in India?", asked old master as he looked through a few catalog. Lily came to sit next to him and looked at the designs but did not seemed convinced.

"Such clothes might be good to launch there but there are the middle aged people who still prefer traditional Indian attires so we should look at that well. Also the prices need to be reasonable since we are launching for the local people not just for the upper class so even they can afford it."

She pointed out on the screen of the laptop where the spreadsheet was opened and continued to speak.

"You see here. Everything is above $30 whereas in india we calculate as per their currency it's much higher. Since we are opening the store to give better quality and not just profit we should look at the aspect that some people might not come for everyday shopping expect for elite people."

The old master nodded and said in calm tone, "That's right. Then what do you suggest to launch?" Lily thought for a while and answered, "Well, first of all you need to keep the cost in mind. Decrease the cost of each piece and launch a winter collection. Since this is going to be the opening of the stores, the Indian winter collection is going to go good. It's festive season there afterall."

The old master nodded.

"Oh yes, Xiao Li, you have to leave for India in the first week of November since there are a few issues in the company there. If you are busy then I will have to ask someone else to go instead of you."

Lily shook her head and agreed to go. "I've one branch of my group there so I'll be going for some work anyways."

With that she stood up and went to her room upstairs. She took shower and stood in front of the tall mirror looking at her slightly protruded belly. She had been wearing loose clothes in order to hide her belly but she wasn't sure how she would be hiding it in the coming gala party.

She rubbed her belly and smiled.

Suddenly her smile dropped when she remembered her past. She felt guilty for her baby that died with her. A lone tear escaped her eye when she thought of her dead baby.

Her hands wrapped around her protruded belly as if trying to protect her baby that was in her womb. "I won't let anything happen to you", she promised while rubbing her belly.

She noticed her stomach was showing a bit more now since it was her fifth month. She signed and put on a pair of soft cotton shorts and hoodie that hide her belly perfectly.

She knew she couldn't hide her bump for too long but her plan was still far from even start.

She heard her mobile ring when she came out and saw Sam's name display on the screen. A bright smile appeared on her face and she quickly picked up the call.

"I miss you, wifey", his deep low voice rang on the other side stealing her breath away while heart missed a beat when he said so. "Are you okay, baby?", Lily asked in a low tone. He just hummed in response and that was enough for her know that he was anything but ok.

"Should I come?", she asked slowly while he hummed once again.

"I'll be there in a while."

With that she hung up and ran out of her room with her car keys.

She was so caught up that she did not even notice the old master in the hallway and ran down the stairs. The old man noticed the worry on her face when she came downs and asked, "Everything alright, Xiao Li?"

Lily stopped and turned to him and said hurriedly, "One of my friend is having some issues. Just going there."

Although the old master wasn't convinced he stilled nodded while Lily gave a small bow and walked out hurriedly support her small bump.

She got into her car and drove to Paradise Mansion as fast as possible. She was sure that she'll be getting a speeding ticket but she couldn't care less.

Even though Sam got the blood clot removed but his trauma attacks were still there sometimes. Lily did not want him to be more stressed since that could affect his health a lot which she least wanted.

Within less than fifteen minutes, she reached the mansion and walked inside. She first checked on Sanna and saw her sleeping peacefully in her room then went to Sam's room.

She opened the door without knocking and saw him sitting on the floor holding his head. As soon as she reached near him, he pulled her down and hugged her tightly while rubbing his face on her chest.

Lily knelt properly and hugged him tightly to her chest. "Why didn't you call me earlier?", she asked as she caressed his hairs gently and kisses his head. "I don't know", he replied as he hugged tighter.

Lily sighed and patted his back slowly.

After about fifteen minutes, Sam finally pulled back and looked at her face. Lily smiled and caressed his cheeks while placing a kiss on his forehead. He held her hands and kissed her palm.

"You good?", she asked to which he nodded.

"Now tell me why the fuck did you not call me earlier when you were having trauma attack so bad?", she yelled as her lips tugged down in a deep scowl while her brows tugged together forming a frown.

He said nothing and pulled her closer putting his head inside her hoddie. Lily pulled him out and glared at him. "See one day I'll just disappear then you won't have to call me ever", she said in a mocking yet angry tone.

Sam frowned and held her hands but she slapped his hands away. He frowned and laid on the floor. Lily rolled her eyes and went to lay on the bed while looking at him.

She is the one who should be angry why is he acting like she is at fault. Humph! She won't melt.

She noticed him staring at her and blurted out in an annoyed tone, "What do you want?"

Just as she asked, he jumped on the bed on top of her startling her. "You know I love you a lot. Don't leave me, wifey. You're my world", he whispered while looking into her eyes and caressing her cheeks.

"Humph! Don't butter me now. You don't even bother calling me. I'm not just talking about today. I'm saying whenever you're in office you don't even miss me or bother to text me even once. Go marry someone who is around you not me who is away from you most of the time."

Sam frowned and started kissing her lips agressively. He was biting and sucking her lips in anger and squeezing her butts roughly. Lily bite his tongue when he tried to dominate her mouth but he did not pull back.
