Lily pulled back from her trance into the reality and smiled to herself thinking about everything. She looked at her hidden belly in her dress and rubbed it gently.

Her eyes suddenly fell on the stack of files on her desk and she sighed. "Get back to work, Jen... Lily Sheng", she quickly changed the name she was always used to say. She had already left things behind from her past except some people.

As she worked, she suddenly got a call. When she looked at the caller ID she smiled seeing Angel's name displaying on the screen. "Sissy, what's the occasion suddenly?", Angel asked as soon as Lily picked up.

Lily blinked in confusion and questioned back, "What occasion, sis?"

Angel frowned on the other side thinking why suddenly that idiot of the man called everyone in the evening for dinner. That's unusual knowing Sam always wanted his time with just his wifey and no one else.

Sometimes, not even Sanna was allowed.

That's how his possessiveness was!

"That idiot called everyone for dinner tonight", Angel informed. Lily herself was clueless since Sam did not tell her anything about this plan. "I am not sure about why he did so", Lily informed.

"Oh. It's fine, this guy is unpredictable. How have you been these days?", Angel asked in a gentle tone. "I'm doing great, sis. By the way, when did you return from Phoenix?", Lily asked remembering Angel went to Phoenix just two days back for a fashion show.

"I was supposed to return after two days but this forced me to return. I will beat him to death when I meet him", Angel said in an annoyed tone while Lily chuckled. "Not needed. I beat him just today."

"Oh that's great", Angel said happily.

After talking for a while Lily said, "Sis, I have something to tell you. And now that I think of it, I think Sam called for this dinner to tell you guys this."

Angel was confused but she waited patiently for Lily to say further.

"I'm pregnant", Lily said and the other line went silent. Lily thought Angel wasn't happy and was ready to apologise. Although, she never apologises but when it comes to certain people she puts her arrogance and pride aside.

"Sis, I am..." Angel cut her off as a loud voice rang on the other line making Lily put her mobile away from her ear. "I am going to he aunt", Angel shouted as she stopped walking towards the arrival gate.

She was currently at the New York Airport and the people in the VIP gate all stared at her. Most of them knew who she was so they were shocked to see her like that. She was never such a person to act like that but today....

Well, let's just say she is too happy.

"Sissy, I can't wait to see my niece or nephew. Ahh! It's so exciting. At least that idiot did something good", Angel said happily while Lily sighed in relief knowing her sister wasn't angry a bit about it.

As Lily talked to Angel, Kylie came in and told Lily that she had something urgent. Lily gave a nod and ended call with Angel then stood up from her chair fixing her dress to cover her small bump.

She put on her overcoat over her shoulder and walked out along with Kylie. Alex followed them to the elevator and the trio went to the conference room full of board members.

Lily walked and sat on the head chair while everyone stood up to give her respect and bowed their head low. Lily gestured without even looking up as she took the folder on the table and read it.

"Miss. Sheng, the market price of our shares are going down. People are asking for the revelation of the CEO", one of the director said worriedly. Lily did not say anything and looked at the others who seemed to have the same thought.

"Halloween is coming up. What do you think a girl would like for costume?", Lily asked in a serious tone leaving everyone shocked.

How could she ask about some Halloween costume when the shares are going down?

Did she go crazy?

She owned this leading interior designing company that was currently in the top of the world but now it was going down. Their opponents were looking for the opportunity to pull them down and here she is worried about Halloween instead of looking for some solution?!!

What the hell was wrong with her?

"Umm... I'm thinking of opening a new finance company just for the kids so they can come there and invest their money even if it's the smallest amount. What do you guys say?", Lily said like she did not care about the current situation at all.

"Miss. Sheng is this keeps on going like this our company will face a great loss. Everyone think our company is just some thrid party ownership of some criminal who is trying to hide", a director said in an annoyed tone.

Lily turned to him and asked calmly, "Well, would you guys like to invest in my new company?"

Everyone frowned and gave a disappointed look. "Miss Sheng, you might not lack money being the Sheng but we will incur a lot of loss if the company goes down", everyone said in a serious tone.

"Oh!", Lily exclaimed.

"This year's conference of UBA is coming up next weekend, you will have to attend the meeting this year", someone said. Lily turned to them but said nothing.

"If this was it all about then I shall take my leave. If anyone of you doubts me then please leave. But yes remember, I promised you all about giving compensation if we face loss but if you leave now then I'm not a bit sorry because you'll get nothing."

With that, she stood up and left.

Everyone stood up in respect and sighed when she left. Although they were brave enough to speak out but her mere presence made them all shiver. Those beautiful eyes of hers made them want to shrink back when she looked at them.

"Ma'am, they were right about the conference. You recently got a letter where the current chairman said that he expects you to be there this year or else you'll be kicked out of the association", Kylie said as they walked towards the elevator.

Union of Business Associates is an association created by the top business tycoons where all the top 100 businessmen and women come together and discuss the problems and solutions of the society.

The people in the association believe that since they have money they should put it to good use for the welfare of the country.

The current chairman was none other than the old master Sheng. Earlier it was Sam's father but after he died, old master Sheng who was the President became the chairman but now that he is old, everyone was going to elect the new President.

This year's conference was all about the election of the new President/Chairperson. Everyone already knew who had the highest chances of becoming the Chairperson/ President but still they wanted to compete.

For the position of Chairperson, people would do anything even if it meant killing, for this position held a lot of importance to everyone in the business world. People respected the chairperson.

Lily thought about it and gave a nod. "Sure. Let them know the President of JenLi will be there", Lily said and gave a sigh of ok with her fingers. Kylie looked at Alex without saying a word and the two let out a sigh.

They knew this year people were going to get a good shock in the business world.

The trio got into the elevator and got back to their respective works.
