Chapter 33: Chapter 33

Lily stayed at the hospital for the rest three days to take care of Sam. Even though everyone doubted her capabilities, they knew she wouldn't hurt him given he is her life.

But to everyone's surprise, Sam was all well after three days. When they did the tests, they found out, the blood clot in his brain was no more there.

"But how is this possible?!", David asked not believing his eyes as he read the reports.

"I told you, useless uncle. I'm better than you and so is my treatment", Lily said arrogantly while Sam and others laughed. David looked at Lily and blinked.

He thought she was too similar to his late niece in law but how is this even possible!? He met Lily Sheng when she was a kid but that Lily was the exact opposite of this one. How is it even possible?!

"Dave, missed your niece in law?", Sam asked teasingly while David's eyes went wide. "B-But how???", He shuttered unable to form a proper sentence.

"She incarnated in Lily Sheng's body. Keep it a secret, if a word gets out, you'll be done for", Sam warned to which Dave gulped in fear. This guy really knew how to make everyone fear him even if it was his uncle.

While things were going well there with Lily, on the other side, Kaylyn got a few reports of Lily going out with a man but could not get any information about the man she was meeting.

"Let her be, she is growing up so must be dating someone", said the second son as he consoled his mother. Kaylyn frowned and yelled at him, "That old woman gave her shares to that arrogant wrench and you are saying let her be?!"

Her son sighed knowing his mother will never be happy knowing his sister was getting success.

Both of them were stubborn given the two were mother-daughter.

Lily packed her things while Sam gave her a sullen look sitting on the bed. He hated whenever she left his side.

"I can't stay here with you all the time, baby. I'll come back to you. My mother came to know I'm in New York, if she messes things up, it would be bad."

Lily went to him and he hugged her waist tightly while she stroked his hairs.

"Let's marry so you can officially be called Mrs. Andres", he said looking up at her face to which she pouted. "In my past life, you never proposed me and married me directly but this time no no. Propose me only then I'll marry", she demanded.

Sam rubbed his face on her belly and put his head inside her top to bite and suck her belly. Lily hit his shoulder and started laughing as she tried to push him away which wasn't possible with his tight grip.

After a while, he let go and moved up sliding up her top a bit and pulled her bra down. He played with one of her soft breast and licked it. Lily felt herself getting wet down there and quickly pushed him away.

"No. I've to go now. Propose me then we'll marry", she said as she adjusted her clothes.

He sighed and nodded.

Lily kissed his forehead and smiled as she walked out of his room.

After she left, Sam went to his company since she didn't allow him to drop her even after so much convincing. Nonetheless, he knew it wasn't safe for him to go with her so he didn't force.

Lily went to her grandfather's mansion and found the old man in the backyard. He was reading some documents but when he saw Lily, he kept the file down and welcomed her with a big smile on his face.

Lily walked towards him and sat on the chair next to his as she spoke, "Grandfather, how have you been?" Old Master Sheng frowned and said in a taunting tone, "My dear granddaughter remembers me finally."

"Come on, grandfather. Don't talk like that woman. I had a bit work so couldn't come back home", Lily said as she examined her grandfather who looked so tired. He seemed to have overworked a lot these days.

"Grandfather, you didn't rest at all these days, did you?", she asked as a frown formed on her face. "I did. Just some urgent work came up", he replied knowing his granddaughter will scold him for sure now.

Lily sighed and took the files away from him. "You aren't allowed to go to office for the coming three days. Take rest. I'll look into these matters."

The old man sighed and nodded giving in to her.

"Great."

As Lily talked to her grandfather, she got an email and took her phone to check it. She frowned when she saw the content of the email and excused herself.

She dialed a number while getting impatient. A man picked up the call after the second ring. "Yes, dear phoenix."

"Sir, what is this? Why am I not allowed to go for the mission? I was supposed to lead the mission", Lily said angrily while the man on the other line heard her calmly. "You aren't fit to go in this mission", he answered.

Lily rolled her eyes and asked, "That's what I want to know. Why am I unfit to be not allowed?"

"You're pregnant."

Lily went silent for a while. "The reports of your medical checkup of this term says you're already eleven weeks pregnant."

Lily was still quiet and did not say a single word as her hand went to her lower belly. Suddenly she thought that she never got any symptoms but then again there are women who get the symptom after a few months of pregnancy and some don't even feel nauseous like others.

"Pheonix, you're still young and the country needs you. I suggest you abort the child for now or I'm not sure about your future in army", the man said in a stern tone while Lily's calm face changed into a frown.

"I'll never abort my child."

"Then I'm not sure if you'll be allowed in army after your delivery. A woman's body is not suitable to be in war after she goes through labour", the man said firmly while her frown deepened. "It's ok. I have done much worse things to never be allowed in army. I'll never give up on my baby", Lily said and hung up.

Lily sat on her bed and rubbed her belly as tears filled her eyes. "I'm pregnant. I've my bastard's blood in my womb", she said to herself as she smiled.

She got up and took her bag rushing out of her room.

"Uncle, I've an urgent work. I'll come back late. Just inform grandfather", Lily informed the butler and rushed out of the mansion.

She took her car and drove to Andres Groups.

Suddenly she thought of something and turned her car and drove to Paradise Mansion. As soon as she reached the mansion, she was welcomed by Sanna who rushed over to hug her mother.

"Sweetie, I need your help", Lily said to Sanna with a smile. "Yes, momma. Tell me, I'll help you", Sanna said happily. Lily took Sanna towards the kitchen but Sanna stopped her to which Lily gave a confused look.

"Dad doesn't allow you to go in the kitchen", Sanna said worriedly to which Lily chuckled.

"It's fine. He won't mind it today."

Still not being sure, Sanna followed Lily in the kitchen and was making sure Lily didn't got hurt anyhow. Lily couldn't help but laugh seeing her little girl take care of her so much.

A while later, Subu came running inside and barked looking at Lily. She went towards him and patted his head while she hugged him. "I missed you, Subu", she murmured to which he made a low sound as if understanding her.

Suddenly, her mobile rang and the name of her mother displayed on the screen. Although she didn't want to pick up the call, she still did.

"Lily, come home. We have someting for you", her mother said and hung up before Lily could say anything.

Lily frowned.

"What's wrong, momma?", Sanna asked looking at Lily. "Nothing, sweetheart. Momma has to go for something urgent. I'll be back later", Lily said gently with a smile and kissed Sanna's forehead and patted Subu's head.
