" How many women you have kissed till now?" Niyati questioned furiously and Shivansh was still rooted in his place looking at her with perplexed eyes.

After gathering his shocked state, he answered honestly," I have never kissed anyone except you."

" Liar!" Niyati spat back and left the balcony hurriedly where Shivansh continued standing like a fool.

Reaching another room, Niyati sat on the bed and closed her eyes feeling embarrassed. Due to frustration, she yelled and threw away the pillow on the floor. She started feeling utterly disgusted by herself. She felt like she has no self-respect anymore for letting him kiss her. Tears started flowing from her eyes and her muffled cries started echoing in the whole room.

She mumbled placing one hand over her mouth," What I have done? How can I step so low!!"

" I should control my emotions," Niyati thought mentally and again felt embarrassed for kissing him.

She was still sobbing when she felt someone's presence in her room. She looked at the person who just cleared his throat to catch her attention. It was none other than Shivansh.

Noticing him she immediately wiped away her tears and made her facial expression straight. She didn't do any eye contact with him and stood up angrily.

" It was a mistake. Nothing else. Don't expect anything from that accident," Niyati declared furiously when Shivansh walked towards her.

Holding her shoulder gently he made her sit on the bed and kneeled in front of her. He took her hands in his hands and looked directly into her eyes.

" Look at me, please," He insisted when she continued looking down.

Placing his thumb and index finger under her chin, he made her look at him. He noticed her sorrowful eyes and felt extremely guilty.

He apologized genuinely," I am sorry."

" Let's not talk about that accident again," Niyati said and Shivansh nodded his head in the positive.

After that, an awkward silence filled up the whole room and they continued looking at each other's sad eyes. Shivansh's eyes were full of remorse whereas her eyes were full of anger and pain.

Finally, Shivansh broke the silence and asked Niyati," Did I ever abuse you when we were in a relationship?"

" What ar............." She couldn't complete her sentence when he requested," Please, answer in yes or no."

" No," She answered meekly.

Shivansh again questioned licking his dry lips," Did I cheat you ever when we were married?"

" No," She responded honestly and looked at his eyes questioningly.

He again asked stroking the back of her hand," I was loyal to you during our marriage, right?"

She asked caressing her eyebrows," Yes, but why are you asking me all these suddenly?"

" Because we should talk about all these misunderstandings," Shivansh said and Niyati widened her eyes.

Then, Shivansh started explaining everything," Niyati, I was loyal to you always and never doubted you too. I encouraged you to go to college, complete your studies and become an independent woman. I wasn't like those typical men who think that their wives will start disrespecting them if she becomes independent. I always supported you no matter what."

Niyati kept looking at him with curious eyes to know what he will say further. She didn't oppose this time because somewhere she also wanted to know his point of view.

After taking a breath Shivansh continued saying," But, everything turned upside down when Lalita Raichand showed me all those vulgar and disgusting photos & videos. I lost my mind completely and couldn't believe that you can cheat on me. I had full trust in you and our pure love. But, I was shattered completely when I came to know that those photos and videos weren't fake. I was already lost and my anger was fueled by Lalita Raichand and Lily's manipulation. At that time, I was numb and wasn't in my right mind to think anything and investigate further. I was in emotional turmoil at that time."

After saying all these Shivansh exhaled some breath and Niyati didn't say anything. She just continued hearing him patiently.

" After our divorce, the only thing I could think was that you cheated on me even after I gave you so much love and respect. I thought what's the point of being loyal to someone wholeheartedly and loving someone crazily when the person doesn't care about your feelings. I was angry and frustrated about everything. I wanted to vent my anger on something and I became a manwhore. The only thing I could think at that time was that there is no point of being loyal to your spouse because in the end you will get cheated. I also thought if you can sleep with someone else hurting my feelings then I can do it too. That's what I was thinking back then," Shivansh paused after clarifying and Niyati jerked away his hands and her lips quivered.

She asked furiously," Are you trying to justify your acts?"

" No, I am not. I am just explaining my feelings. I know that I did horrible sins but at least try to understand my situation too," Shivansh requested and Niyati looked away wiping away the lone tear before it could fall from her eyes.

Shivansh again started saying," And, that day when I.........."

Due to embarrassment he couldn't finish his sentence and looked down. After taking a deep breath he decided to say further.

" That day when I called another woman in my office...........I was so much angry with you, Niyati. I was so jealous after seeing you with Ranvijay and too that much happy. I thought that here I am suffering alone for the past three years and here you are married to another man and having a baby too. I thought Neela was Ranvijay's child," Shivansh said and Niyati looked at him gritting her teeth.

Niyati said angrily," I never consummate that marriage."

" Yes. You didn't. You knew that. Ranvijay knew that but I didn't. I thought you have moved on with another man and lived happily where I had been suffering every day. My jealousy reached its peak after seeing you with Ranvijay. I couldn't believe how can you move on like that and marry another man!! I was angry, jealous and wanted to take revenge on you. I wanted to hurt you emotionally and that's why I called that woman in my office. I never realized how much wrong I was in every aspect," Shivansh explained everything genuinely and Niyati kept silent looking down.

Shivansh again took her hands in his hands and apologized from the bottom of his heart," Niyati, I am not justifying my acts. I am admitting all of my wrongdoings and explaining my feelings & thoughts about that time. I am really sorry. I know a simple sorry can't ease the wound in your heart but........................"

" But, Nothing, Mr Raichand. You explained everything and I heard. Your confession won't change the past nor it will make me forget the suffering of all those years. Please, leave me alone," Niyati said with her pissed off voice and Shivansh just closed his eyes.

Gathering all the courage inside him, he again requested desperately," We can't change the past but we can make the future better. I know that you still love me. You just have to acknowledge it and listen to your heart for once. Give me a last chance and let me redeem myself. I will even sacrifice myself for your sake, please."

This time Niyati looked at him and found his hopeful eyes staring at her intensely. She just continued looking at him and he was waiting for a reply impatiently.

After some time she broke the silence and ordered," Get.....Out."

Shivansh didn't waste another second after hearing her. He just stood up and came out of her room silently. He again lost every hope and decided to not bother her anymore. Till now he has apologised uncountable times and she has rejected him uncountable times.

He forwarded his legs towards his room when his phone started ringing. He saw the caller id and it was an unknown number. He thought to ignore it at first but thinking something he picked up the call.

" Hello," Shivansh said and after hearing the other party, his phone fell from his hand with utter shock.

It's nighttime and Orni was laying on the bed with her children. She was narrating them bedtime stories to make them sleep. Ranvijay wasn't here and Orni is less interested to know where he is!

" What happened to that princess then? Did she kill that beast?" Roman asked his mother very curiously and Orni fell into deep thought.

After a few moments, she felt a little tap over her hands and looked at her sons. She noticed that they were still looking at her with curiosity.

" Enough of storytelling. It's already late. You should sleep now," Orni said pulling the comforter over them.

Rion whined pulling her dress," Mumma, please. I want to hear more."

" Me too," Roman also whined thrashing his hands and feet everywhere.

Orni sighed and promised them," Tomorrow I will finish this story, ok?"

They nodded their head in the positive and stopped their tantrums. Like obedient children, they laid down beside their mother and Orni started stroking their baby hair gently.

" Mumma, I don't want to sleep with Dad," Roman said suddenly catching Orni's attention.

Orni frowned her brows when Rion also said," Me too"

Chuckling a little, Orni asked," Why?"

" Because he snores loudly," Roman complained and an amusing expression appeared on her face.

Rion imitated Ranvijay making a weird sound," He snores like that, Frrrrrrrr......"

Orni burst into laughter when Roman said," No, he sounds like Bruhuuuuu....................

They were giggling and tickling each other unknown to the fact that someone was watching over them. It was Ranvijay. He smiled seeing them happy after a long time.

After a lot of silly things and funny complaints, the kids finally closed their eyes. Very soon they drifted into a deep sleep where Orni was just thinking about something deeply.

" Good night babies," Orni whispered kissing her kids heads and leaving the room.

She entered another room and laid down on the bed silently. Pulling a comforter over her body she closed her eyes but sleep was far away from her eyes. She just continued thinking a lot of things.

A few moments later, she felt the bed was dipping a little like someone has laid down beside her. She didn't give any reaction when a large hand stroked her waist with rough fingers.

" Angel," Ranvijay called but Orni remained silent.

Pulling her body into his chest, he requested," Please, talk to me. Your silence is giving me so much pain. Stop giving me cold shoulders."

Orni kept her mouth mum and Ranvijay turned her body towards him. He made her look at him but she was silent and expressionless. She stared at him but there was no feeling in her eyes.

" At least tell me what I should do to earn your forgiveness?" Ranvijay shouted but Orni didn't even flinch.

After a few moments of silence, Orni finally opened her mouth and said," Kill yourself."

Ranvijay blinked his eyes shockingly to register what she just said. For a few seconds, he felt like he has heard wrong. He again stared at her face but still, she was expressionless.

" That's it? I thought you would be asking something difficult," Ranvijay answered chuckling after understanding her order.

This time, Orni yelled at him," Kill yourself right in front of my eyes."

Ranvijay caressed her cheeks gently and asked," Can I kiss you for one last time?"

Orni didn't respond and he didn't wait for her approval too. He smashed his lips over hers and kissed her to his heart's content. He kissed her but Orni didn't kiss him back nor she struggle. She let him kiss her.

After kissing her, he stood up from the bed and take out his gun from a drawer. He pointed it at his head looking at Orni who was watching him silently.

" Goodbye, Angel," He said and closed his eyes moving his finger towards the trigger.
