Niyati's pov

" I have signed the divorce papers. Take this money and get lost from here. Never show me your slutty face again," He said rudely throwing some money on my face.

His every word pierced through my heart like arrows. I continued looking at his face with my teary eyes. His eyes are also red because of crying but I can also see the loath and disgust in his eyes for me.

I looked at his family members and they have the same expression as his. Disgust!!! I was astonished when I came to know that his family members framed me except my father in law. I never thought that Lalita Raichand will step so low that she will do this with her son!!

I looked at the notes which are scattered on the floor. Tears formed in my eyes but I controlled them. A painful chuckle left from my mouth. He didn't believe me nor he gave me any chance to explain. Was the love between us very weak?

" So, it's your final decision?" I again asked him controlling my tears. A little hope was still inside me that he will believe me. He told me that he loves me.

He replied making a disgusted face," Yes. It's my final decision. I was a fool to love a characterless woman like you. I have freed you. Now, you can whore around without any interruption."

I didn't reply anything because I have nothing to say. I took the pen with my trembling hands and signed it. While signing the papers my tears were flowing like a never-ending stream.

I didn't touch the money nor I said to him anything. I just came out from the lawyer's office with my trolley bag. I didn't even say that I am pregnant with his child. The person who couldn't believe his wife, humiliated her in front of everyone can never be a good father. My child doesn't deserve a person like him as his/her father.

I was numb from inside and I wasn't understanding what I should do now. But, one thing is sure that I won't plead in front of him. He has crushed my self-respect and I am not going to forgive him ever. He didn't give me a single chance to explain!! I don't know how I am going to survive with my baby. I don't know where I will go but I have full trust in Lord Shiva that he will show me a path.

I was going to leave the main gate when someone grabbed my arm. I looked at the person and it was none other than Shiv. I saw his burning eyes on me and I also made a straight face.

" Who was that man?" He asked me gritting his teeth.

It's the 100th time Shiv has asked me this question. I have already told him that I don't know that man nor I slept with him but he didn't believe me even for once. Shiv was thinking that I am hiding that man's identity to save him from his wrath.

" You already know the answer," I told him freeing my arm.

He let out sarcastic laughter and asked," Are you ashamed of taking your lover's name? You didn't feel ashamed while sleeping with him then why this drama now?"

Hearing his words I felt disgusted but I was astonished also. I felt like the person who is standing in front of me isn't my Shiv. He is someone else. My Shiv can never talk like that to me.

" Did you enjoy with him more than me?" He asked clutching my jaw and that's it. I lost my control.

I slapped him hard and his face turned in another direction. He touched his cheek where I slapped and closed his eyes to suppress his anger. I noticed him gritting his teeth angrily.

I held his collar tightly and said," I am not a roadside slut. Do you hear me? I am not. And, you are a worthless puppet of your family. Nothing else. I am glad that Lord Shiva separated me from a person like you."

Saying that I left his collar and turned my head. I started walking away from him when I heard his voice from behind.

" Just tell me once that the girl wasn't you and I will forgive you," I heard him saying with his desperate voice.

I didn't turn my head towards him. I clutched the nuptial chain around my neck very tightly when few drops of tears escaped my eyes.

" I won't justify my character in front of you and I don't need your forgiveness either. Stay happy," I replied hardening my voice and took a taxi hurriedly because this place has started suffocating me.

I am sitting in a park and waiting for Naina. She told me that she wants to meet me.

I went to my uncle's house and as expected they didn't accept me. They again insulted me saying that I am a disappointment. Their insult didn't hurt me because I was already numb to feel anything.

Shiv's every word was still fresh inside me and they were repeatedly stabbing my heart. I still can't believe he divorced me and didn't believe me just seeing some photos and videos. I thought that he knew his flower but I was wrong. He never understood me.

" Baby, please be with me. Mommy is helpless," I told my baby and clutched my belly tightly.

I am now a divorcee, I don't have any place to go nor I have enough money. I don't know what I am going to do now. What will be my future?

" Di," I heard Naina's voice and I wiped my tears hurriedly.

She sat beside me and remained silent. She didn't show me any sympathy nor she didn't ask me anything. Because she knows that I won't like it.

" What are you going to do now, Di?" She asked me resting her one hand over my hand.

I replied sighing," After one week is my final exam. I will participate in it and then I will leave this city. I won't be able to breathe here anymore."

" Where will you go, Di?" She asked me with her sad voice.

I replied controlling my tears," I will go anywhere but I won't live here. This city will remind me of the humiliation I have faced. This city will remind me of Shiv and I don't want to remember him."

After that, she didn't say anything nor I said anything. I was continuously staring at the grasses where my mind was repeatedly reminding me of Shivansh. No matter how much I try to forget, I am failing every time.

" That's for you, Di," I heard Naina's voice and felt something over my lap.

I looked at my lap and found two bundles of notes. I was surprised after seeing that much money with her. I don't know from where she got these and why she is giving me these.

" From where do you get that much money?" I asked her with my astonished voice.

She replied smiling a little bit," I stole ma's necklace and sold it. Take this money with you and start a new life. You will need them, Di. In this world, no one can survive without money."

" Naina, I don't know how I am going to thank you. You are the only person who never leaves my hand. I am grateful to you," I told her and burst into tears.

She wiped my tears and said resting her hand over my belly," Don't cry so much Di. Stop thinking about all the bad things in your life. Think about your unborn baby. You have to be strong for the little angel inside your womb."

I looked at her with my shocked eyes and asked," How do you know that I am pregnant?"

" I have seen you going to a maternity clinic. I know Di that I am going to be an aunt of a cute little angel," She said chuckling.

Hearing her, I couldn't control my emotions anymore. I hugged her tightly and burst into happy tears. I am not alone. My baby and sister are with me. They will never leave my side and that's enough for me.

Author's pov

" Mamma bear, please. Get off from the railing. No one will hurt you," VR told Orni with his afraid voice where his forehead was sweating.

Orni was standing over the railing of a bridge and ready to jump from there. VR and his guards were trying hard to catch her and got her off from the railing but she isn't listening to any one of them. She is threatening everyone that even if a single hand touch her she will jump from here.

" Don't touch me. All of you are bad and you are the worst," Orni told VR very angrily where tears are continuously flowing from her eyes.

VR replied going a little bit closer to her," I am sorry, Mamma bear. Please, forgive me. I am really sorry for hurting you a lot. If you come down from the railing then I will give you many things. I will take you to your father."

He tried to lure her with his sweet words. But, Orni didn't believe him. She is sure that he is lying to her again.

" Liar!!! I don't believe you," Orni replied walking on the railing.

This time VR is afraid shitless. He is fearing that she might slip her leg and fell into the water. He doesn't want to lose her. He doesn't want to lose the only girl whom he loves.

" Please, think about the baby bear inside you. Come down from the railing. I beg you, Orni," VR requested with his pleading voice.

After hearing him, Orni started laughing like a mad girl. She is laughing like he has said the biggest joke of this century. She is behaving like she is in any kind of comedy show.

" Please," VR requested and tried to grab her hand but she flinched.

She stopped her laughing and said hardening her voice," I am leaving you. I am not your puppet anymore, Mr Vijendra Randhawa."

Saying that she spread her hands like a bird and purposely slipped her leg. A painful smile appeared on her lips and she fell on the water.

" Orni........." VR screamed at the top of his lungs but she is already gone.

Shivansh is sitting beside a riverbank and crying his eyes out. He and Niyati used to come here because of the peaceful nature here. The cool breeze from the river and the distant light from the huge bridge over the river create a beautiful scenario here. That's why they used to come here a lot.

Those photos and videos of Niyati's are continuously flashing in front of his eyes making his condition miserable. He still can't believe that Niyati cheated on him. His heart is shattering every time whenever he is remembering her.

" Why did you do that, flower? Why? Was I that bad?" Shivansh asked looking at a selfie where he was kissing Niyati's cheek.

He again asked with his painful voice," What was my fault that you thought to break me like that? My love was true but still, you thought to betray me!!!"

Shivansh is still shedding his tears when something catches his attention. He looked frontwards and found that someone is lying on the riverbank. He thought to ignore it but curiosity rose inside him and without wasting any time he went there.

Shivansh's eyes are now like bulging out from his socket when he saw the person. His mouth got hung opened and a worried yet shocked expression appeared on his face. It didn't take a decade for him to recognize the person in front of him.

" Orni," He uttered shockingly and bent down to her level. He remembered the mall incident where he first met her.

He rested her head over his lap and started calling her name. But, Orni is unconscious. He became more nervous and worried seeing Orni's pregnant belly. Orni is completely drenched with water and her body is cold like ice.

" Orni....open your eyes," Shivansh uttered rubbing her hands.

Suddenly, Orni opened her eyes and coughed a little. Some water came out of her mouth and Shivansh was perplexed. He wasn't what he should do now.

" Please, save my baby bear," She whispered with her pleading voice and fainted again.

***************************************At Hospital

Shivansh took Orni to a nearby hospital hurriedly. He was feeling very nervous and worried about Orni. He doesn't know why he felt a strong connection with Orni. He felt a protective feeling over Orni just like he feels for Lily.

The hospital staff took Orni to the emergency unit and Shivansh kept standing outside the room. He looked through the glass window and saw a nurse attaching an oxygen mask over Orni's mouth.

" Excuse me," Shivansh heard a lady voice from behind. He turned his head behind and found that a nurse is standing in front of him holding a form.

" Yes," Shivansh said raising his one brow.

The nurse informed giving him the form," Fill the form right now."

" But, I don't kn..........." Shivansh tried to say something when the nurse told with her annoyed voice," Fill the form right now. Otherwise, we won't be able to start the treatment. It's our protocol here."

Hearing her, Shivansh fell into a dilemma. He doesn't know anything about Orni then how can he fill the form. But, he also doesn't want anything to happen to her. So, without further thinking, he took the form.

He started filling the form with his hesitating expression. He wrote Orni's name as Orni Raichand and wrote her age 17 where she is only 16.

Seeing his hesitation the nurse sensed something and asked suspiciously," By the way, what's your relationship with the patient?"

" She is my younger sister," Shivansh replied curtly.

The nurse didn't say anything to him. She left the place and Shivansh sat on the nearby bench. He is wondering what happened with Orni.

After some time

" How is she, doctor?" Shivansh asked a lady doctor who just came out after checking Orni.

Hearing him, the doctor asked him angrily," You are her brother, right? Then, how the hell you don't know that your sister was being raped and abused repeatedly?"

Shivansh stumbled back after hearing the doctor. He felt like he has heard wrong. He wasn't expecting this. His whole system filled up with disgust for the person who hurt an innocent child like Orni.

Shivansh was still in his shocked state when the doctor said," I have found some severe wounds in her private parts. I have also found some deep scars on her whole body indicating she was being abused for a long time."

Shivansh lost his words after hearing the doctor. He couldn't digest the doctor's saying yet. He wonders who can be that monster!!

" How is she right now? And, what about her baby?" Shivansh asked very worriedly.

The doctor replied with disbelief," It's a miracle that her baby is still alive. She is a fighter. When I was treating her I thought that she won't be able to make it. But, be the grace of Almighty she is now out of danger."

" Thanks, Shiv Ji," Shivansh said taking relief of breath.

But, his relief didn't last long when the doctor said worriedly," Her vital is normal now but I can't say anything about her mental condition right now. I just hope she also recovers mentally. In these type case, the maximum time the patient becomes mentally unstable or started suffering from mental trauma."

Shivansh tried to ask something when the doctor suggested to him," I will tell you to file a case against the person who abused such an innocent child. That monster should be punished. Not punished. He should be hanged."

He just nodded his head in the positive and asked," Can I meet her?"

" Not now. Let her gains consciousness then you can meet her," The doctor said with her professional voice and left the place.

Shivansh is sitting beside Orni's bed and waiting for her to open her eyes. He was continuously staring at her face and wondering who can be that bastard who abused such a doll. Shivansh was so worried for Orni that he even forgets about Niyati.

" Where am I?" Orni mumbled opening her eyes and tried to sit back.

Shivansh got alerted and helped her sit back. He called a nurse and told her to bring the doctor right now.

" Where am I? Who are you? Orni asked Shivansh with her curious voice and rolled her eyes over the whole room.

Shivansh said affectionately," Orni.....yo."

He couldn't complete his sentence when she asked making him completely shocked," Who is Orni?"

Shivansh blinked his eyes a few times and inquired shockingly," Don't you know who is Orni?"

She nodded her head in the negative and said," I don't know any Orni and who are you?"

Hearing her weird questions Shivnash guessed that she has forgotten everything. He can also assume that Orni isn't safe and she needs someone to protect her.

Shivansh smiled a little and said," You are Orchi. Orchi Raichand and I am your elder brother Shivansh Raichand."
