Niyati's p.o.v

I opened my eyes very slowly feeling a comfy bed under me. My head was so hurting like someone was hitting my head repeatedly. Why I am feeling like that? With great difficulty, I just sat back on the bed.

I gasped and my eyes widened in pure horror when I found myself completely naked. My hands abruptly searched for any cloth and I found a thin quilt. I immediately covered my body with it.

I looked here and there in search of my clothes and found them on the floor along with my purse. Adrenaline rushed through my whole system seeing all this. I completely freaked out when I noticed that I wasn't in my house. I was somewhere else.

My eyes roamed all over the room and it didn't take a decade for me to understand that I was in a luxurious hotel room. I was alone in the room and it was pin-drop silence. I looked at the nearby table and found a calendar there. I noticed a name at the top of the calendar and it was written " Grand Palace' hotel. How the hell I ended up here.

I tried to remember but nothing was coming into my head. I felt like my whole mind is blank. I felt like I have lost my memory somewhere else. I rubbed my eyes and forehead to remember but I couldn't remember anything.

After trying for 20 minutes I remembered something. I went to Kabir's birthday party with Lily and after that, I don't remember anything.

Did someone do anything wrong with me? Why I was naked? The thought of someone doing something wrong was just scaring me beyond level. I looked at my whole body in search of any mark or scratch but I didn't find any. I was completely clueless about what happened to me.

I didn't waste any time. I just picked up clothes and wore them hurriedly. I have to reach home early as possible and talk with Lily. She might know about something.

I was going to leave the room when my phone started ringing. I looked at the phone screen and it was from Shivansh. What I should do now? I can't tell him about all this. I need to act normal with him.

Taking a deep breath I received the call. I rested my one hand over my chest to calm myself down.

" Hello," I said normally.

He asked me with his serious voice," What happened, flower? Why are you nervous? Your voice is feeling heavy."

I knew it. He will understand my nervousness just hearing my voice. I don't know he knows telepathy or not that he understands me before I could say anything.

" I just woke up from sleep. That's why my voice is a little bit heavy. Nothing to worry about," I replied chuckling a little bit.

He just hummed and said with his desperate voice," Flower, I am missing you a lot but I have to stay here for one more week."

" One more week?" I asked him curiously.

He replied with his pissed off voice," I got stuck with some work and that's why I have to wait here for one more week."

" Oh. No problem. Just take care of yourself," I told him because I was still worried about all those previous incidents.

He sensed something in my voice and asked worriedly," Are you ok, flower? If something is bothering you then tell me."

" No, Shiv. I am ok. I just need to freshen up," I assured him.

After that, he talked with me for some time and I cut the call. I don't know I have done right or wrong by hiding this incident from him.

Without wasting any time I came out of the hotel and started my journey to the house.

Reaching there I met Lily and she told me that she doesn't know anything. She informed me that I left the party on myself with my friend. When I asked her about my which friend she just ignored my question.

I am not understanding what happened. It's still a mystery for me about how I ended up in that hotel.

After one week

Author's p.o.v

Orni was hiding inside the washroom like a little child. She was hugging her knees tightly and sitting behind the bathtub.

She was shivering due to fear and crying non-stop. Fingerprints were clearly noticeable on her fair cheeks like someone has slapped her very hard.

" Orni mam, please come out like a good girl. The doctor won't hurt you," One of the female bodyguards requested Orni.

She screamed back with her crying voice" No, I won't come back. All of you are liars. Everybody hurts me. All of you are bad."

" Mam, please. Try to understand. If you don't do the ultrasound then Sir will be angry. He will punish all of us," Another female guard told Orni very worriedly.

Orni shivered with fear just hearing the word, Sir. She knew whom they are referring to. She recalled some memories and cried out more loudly.

" Tell him to go away from me. I don't want him. He is bad. He is a liar. He broke his promises," Orni replied clutching the bathtub with one hand and with another hand she clutched the ham of her dress.

After that, silence took over the whole place and the bodyguards stopped shouting Orni's name. Orni stopped her crying after thinking that everyone is gone.

" Mamma bear, come out like a good girl otherwise, your teddy bears will be angry with you," VR's voice echoed into Orni's ear and she started crying again.

She replied hiccupping," I won't come. You will hurt me again. I don't want the teddy bears anymore. They don't protect me when everyone hurts me."

VR sighed after hearing her. He knew she isn't going to come out so easily. If he wants then he can easily break the door and took her outside by dragging her hair. But, he won't do that because it will scare her more. He has already scare her enough by last night incident.

" Mamma bear, if you come out then I will give you chocolates. I will take you to the panipuri stall, ice cream parlour and I will even take you to the Carnival," VR lured Orni with all this stuff.

Hearing him, Orni recalled some of her school days when she used to eat all these with her friends. Her mouth started watering just hearing all the food names. She stopped her crying and decided to come out.

Orni opened the door with her shaky hands. Her body started trembling when she noticed VR's eyes. She peed on herself and fainted immediately. Before she could fell to the ground, VR held her in his arms.

A lady doctor is now checking Orni where VR was sitting beside her head holding her one hand tightly. He stroked her hair gently staring at her innocent face. He has washed her body and slipped a nice frock on her.

" How is she?" VR asked the doctor worriedly.

The doctor replied," Her vital is normal. But, Sir. I would suggest you take her to a psychiatrist because she badly needs one. Moreover, she shouldn't feel pressured at this condition. If she continues taking stresses like that then she might lose her baby."

" Hmm. I understand," VR replied shortly where his eyes didn't leave Orni's face.

The doctor again suggested to him," Sir, try to keep her happy. Take her on vacation, give her everything which makes her happy, make good memories with her. It may help to recover her mental condition."

" You can go now," VR told the doctor rudely and she left the place without uttering any word further.

VR was thinking something deeply when someone called him. He looked at the phone screen and found that it's none other than one of his men.

" Hmm. What's the matter?" VR asked the man.

The man replied with his afraid voice," Sir, Your father I mean Mr Randhawa wants to meet you."

VR didn't reply to him. He just cut the call very angrily and threw the phone on the floor. He closed his eyes to suppress the anger inside him but he failed.

He threw the flower vase on the floor and said with his frustrating voice," That bastard won't let me live peacefully. What more does he want from me?"

Shivansh just returned to India and he was becoming desperate to meet Niyati. He was literally going crazy without her. Only he knows how much he has missed Niyati.

He was a little bit surprised when he noticed Lalita and Lily at the airport. It seems like they came here to receive him. It's not the first time that he went on a business trip. It was quite normal for him and his family members didn't bother to come to the airport to receive him before.

" Ma, Lily. What are you both doing here?" Shivansh asked them surprisingly.

Lalita hugged her son and kissed his forehead. Lily also hugged him and kissed his cheek.

" We came here to receive you," Lalita replied smiling a little bit.

Shivansh could feel the tension between his mother and sister. He noticed their worried expression and it was like they are hiding something from him.

" What happened ma? Is there something wrong?" Shivansh asked his mother worriedly.

Lalita remained silent when Lily took out her phone. She gave it to Shivansh and he just took the phone curiously.

Shivansh stared at the phone screen for some time. His eyes didn't blink nor he said anything. His whole face was expressionless and his eyes were like turned into stone. His hold around the phone tightened like he will break it with his hand.

He returned the phone to Lily and said sternly," That's not Niyati."

" Bhai, that's bhabi. She betr..........." Lily couldn't complete her sentence when her face turned in another direction.

She looked at Shivansh with disbelief holding her right cheek. Tears formed in her eyes and she just gritted her teeth in anger. It's the first time that Shivansh has slapped her.

" How dare you, Lily! How can you accuse Niyati of cheating on me!! These photos are fake. How can you show these to me!" Shivansh yelled at Lily so angrily that she got scared.

But, somehow she gathered her courage and said," You are blinded by her love. That's why you aren't seeing her true face. She is a characterless woman. A whor.............."

" Lily......" Shivansh screamed and raised his hand to strike her again but someone caught his hand.

Shivansh looked at the person who caught his hand and the person is none other than Lalita. She was looking at Shivansh with her cold eyes.

" She is saying the truth," Lalita uttered this sentence and Shivansh jerked away his mother's hand very angrily.
