There was only one thing I loved in my life and that was being in a library. This was one of my favorite things to do and reading nonstop was my game. Other than playing basketball all the time, I loved a quiet place at the library or school surrounded by books. Hence once I sneaked inside the library of a school I didn't go to. I smiled like a kid given her favorite candy as I went through each lane searching for all the books I wanted but we didn't have at my school. There was a big difference between these private schools which had so many advanced things and my school. This school was on top in the city. The tears and the facility were great hence I took almost every book I came across. Cradled them in my arms and walked to the isolated table far from people. I didn't want to get caught in the process but I was going to be there for ten minutes until Kyan was done

I didn't understand why he had to come to the school without books or was it such a big deal to come in and go as he wanted. Of course, his older brother was like the heartthrob of the city. The wealthiest man who made the entire human race tremble. It had only been a little while since I met him but I could tell how prestigious he was. The way everyone feared him, especially his workers. It was even a surprise to see a classy lady like Monica be afraid of Victor when she carried herself as some elegant lady

"Okay, this should do. '' I muttered and settled down in the chair and moved it forward so I could read. I was so excited and happy that all I wanted was to stay in the most pleasant library I'd ever been to. The air was cool and pleasant. So quiet and serene like the waters of the ocean making it a suitable place to study

It turned out I spent more than ten minutes going through all the books. I didn't know how long I spent in the library reading each book I set my eyes on. I was in a reading frenzy and I didn't want anyone to interrupt me. To my luck, there was no one around to know I didn't go to their school but after a long time. I stopped as I slammed the last science book shut and massaged my eyes which had been staring at the white paper for too long. My back was hitting a little hence I stretched myself and a lazy yawn escaped my lips as I looked around. I blinked a few times and gasped when I looked behind me and found three people staring at me. I quickly rose to my feet as fear reigned in my heart. I didn't know what to do as I fiddled with my hands nervously

"And who are you?" a tall blonde boy asked me, he seemed to be the same age as Kyan although not sure as the same height as Kyan. Beside him was a slim pretty girl wearing cheerleader attire, she was glaring at me with her big blue eyes, her black hair was tied in a high ponytail and there was another boy with them this one was brown-skinned with nicely trimmed hair. The three looked deadly as they stared at me with sharp angry eyes. I stammered to say but found no words to voice out

*You heard what he said...who the fuck are you?" the lady said cheekily and stepped in front of the two guys, she smirked mischievously as she sized me up like I was some bitch. Of course, I knew how these rich brats behaved as if it was their school however I had to be a little smarter to get away with murder

"Well I'm new here..just reported"I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind and quickly excused myself as I tried to walk past them but the blonde guy grabbed my Armand cheekily pulled me back with so much force that I and to hold the edge of the table to keep from falling looked up with wide eyes and the three people circled me. The brown-skinned boy was smirking while the blonde boy was with porcelain white skin. A good body which looked like he worked out a lot and the mean Butch with a slim body like that if a model fixed their eyes on me. I was shocked as I straightened up but didn't dare move

"When he said there was an intruder...I thought he was wrong but he didn't say...she was damn hot and beautiful" the brown-skinned said as he walked to my side and looked at me with interest in his eyes, the blonde one smirked as he moved to my front. I sensed a bad give from the people before me that all I wanted was to find Kyan and tell them I was with him. But how was I going to get away when they looked murderous

"She's not from this school. Just look at her...I'm sure she's one of those fools who admire our school...I'm the student council president... Ryan at your service...and I don't remember seeing you here before" the blonde guy said and introduced himself. The rest nodded and I was shocked. My heart thumped loudly and knew I was done for. I was caught in action

"Did you come to steal...all these books here...I'm sure you came to steal...Roddy...bring her to the school grounds...she needs to learn a lesson before we take her to the principal"the guy Ryan said coldly turning to the brown-skinned guy and I felt fear. I didn't like the tone of his voice one bit.

The girl smirked and glared at me before she elegantly walked away as if trying hard to sway her hips. I moved back from Roddy who had a sinister smug plastered on his face

"You are done for baby girl" he proclaimed and prepared to grab my hand but unexpectedly I reacted fast and kicked him between his legs so hard that he fell back screaming and yelling for help.

I only saw his friends turn around before I ran for my life. I was on the second floor of the library hence I had to run down a few couples of stairs just to get away from them

"Where is that brat?"I muttered with heavy breaths as I continued to run as fast as my legs could carry me. I knew Kyan was a good-for-nothing brat.

He brought me to my room and like a fool I left the car and went exploring. So much for wanting to read because now I was in deep shit with no way out

"I...I should hide here"  I said as I stopped once I got down the second floor. My heart was racing rapidly as I rested my hand on my beating heart. I hid behind the shelves and sat quietly.

If I moved an inch I'd get caught and who knew what the fools would do to me hence I shut my mouth and maintained silence.

The library was quiet and I only heard footsteps walking around. I was nervous as I kept quiet waiting for them to leave but I had no assurance that they would give up seeing that I was an intruder

"Where is she...block the entrance and tell Matt to guard the front gate"  I heard voices giving orders and I had no idea who it was. My head was spinning rapidly as I sank even more. 'I am doomed now'. The rich brats had called for backup which meant I'd get caught. The chances of leaving the library were zero therefore all I could do was pray that Kyan found me as soon as possible

"Fine...I think she left...let's go finish the game" after a long while I heard the blonde boy's voice yell and the rest shouted a 'noted captain'.

I knew a lie when it was there and I guessed they were trapping me. But after a long time of total silence, I stood up from the floor, dusted, and talked out.

"I should go now, "I said and prepared to head out and run as fast as I could but immediately I stepped out of my hiding spot, I was stunned when I stopped abruptly because now five well-built men stood before me,

they were dressed in their football uniforms and behind them came the blonde boy Ryan and the dark-skinned boy Roddy. My throat went dry, my hands turned cold as sweat dripped down my forehead

"You bitch dared!"  a heavy slap landed on my face so hard that I stumbled back and fell to the floor holding my face.

The slap was so unexpected that I had to blink a few times just to get a clear vision. It was Ryan who dared to slap me

"The principal needs to hear this...she came to steal from us from our school...she needs to be punished the right way" when I looked up the Ryan guy said with a smirk as he looked at me with disdain in his eyes. I was shocked as I held my face and anger flashed in my eyes.

"I didn't come to steal okay...ask Kyan, "I said before they could drag me out and the blonde boy stopped when I mentioned Kyan and turned back to me.

I didn't understand why they were making a big scene over a trivial matter. I was just reading, not stealing. I guess they just wanted trouble and I was doomed if Kyan didn't show up.

If he didn't then they would hurt me and if they did then Victor would get angry at me and accuse me of being careless

"Oh really...then even more reason for us to deal with her.. boys bathe her in our favorite meal, "Ryan said more sarcastically as he went on one knee close to me and gripped my chin tightly, his eyes were sharp with nothing but bad intentions

He tilted my head up and looked me in the eyes with a deadly glare before he pushed me away with so much strength that I felt a sharp pain in my jaw

He walked away and two men grabbed my arms and pulled me to my feet. I wanted to fight back but I couldn't do that. What if I ran away, fell, and hurt myself.

The chances of me being pregnant were there hence one small mistake and I was done for and Victor would murder me if he found out I was in trouble risking his unborn child.
