When morning came I was surprised we spent the night outdoors. It was something I didn't think would happen but waking up wrapped in Victor's arms was something I always loved each time it happened. Happiness rushed through me that all I wanted was to snuggle to his warm body. Unfortunately, the man was shamelessly awake and teasing me. The idea of snuggling with him was disrupted when his eyes flew open and caught me in the process

"Rise and shine?"I muttered with a smile but he didn't say anything and only looked at me blankly. It was understandable knowing Victor was a man of a few words. I scanned his handsome face and blinked a few times when his arm which was supporting his head moved to his sides and he cupped my face

"Good morning" he murmured and tucked my face behind my ear. I smiled and leaned toward his hand. Was he in a good mood for him to give me such a wonderful morning? I tilted my head and ended up kissing his hand and I saw as he narrowed his eyes and slid his hand on my back and mischievously pressed me down that I unexpectedly fell back on him as my hair fell on his far

"Beautiful" the man muttered leaving me with no choice but to rest my hands on his bare chest and waited for him to stop his drama

"It's the morning...we should go back," I said and tried to get off him. He didn't hold me back but dropped his hands and I quickly sat up and looked at my belly. I was okay and so was the baby hence my eyes shifted around and I saw the sunrise. It was glorious and magnificent that I smiled as the cool gentle breeze caressed my shoulders making me shiver

"The car will pick you up," the man said as he sat up and I was lost. Why, wasn't he supposed to go with me

"Aren't... you coming too? "I asked looking at them while he wore his shirt and he shook his head

"Have something to do"he simply replied and I was left with nothing to say other than find something to tie my hair with. I hoped I wasn't looking like some mad woman with scattered hair and to my luck, I found it from the scattered blankets

"Come... they'll get rid of this,s" this s, aid and I could tell he was in a hurry. I guessed he had some meeting to attend to but wasn't he supposed to go home and freshen up then I shook my head recalling the time he didn't come home and went to his penthouse nearby. I guessed he wanted to go there.

Just as Victor said another driver picked me up and drove me straight home. I was happy that he didn't scold me for letting him spend the night at the pack but it was fun and romantic. Thinking about the cuddling, the special care treatment I received from him I couldn't help but smile as I played with my hands

"Oh no"I muttered when I released something. I left my phone in his car and now

"Damn it...if he sees it I'm sure he'll bring"I said trying not to panic but then again I felt fear. I had not put any password or face lock on my phone. I didn't have anything there hence I didn't bother with such security but now thinking about it. I wanted to die because if Victor got curious and went through my phone and found that his number was saved under grumpy man then I was certain he would get furious but then again that wasn't the case because he was a distinguished man he wouldn't go around checking other people's phones right

"We are here" the driver's voice brought me back to my senses and I looked at him with a blank expression. I was so confused that when he opened the car door for me, I didn't realize we already arrived hence I slowly but surely tried to push myself out of the car holding my belly securely and he was kind enough to lend me a hand hence with all my strength I finally managed to land on my two feet and straightened my dress a little

"Thanks" I thanked him with a smile and he just nodded and I made my way to the entrance door. I sighed hoping Monica wasn't waiting for me like some grumpy older sister because recalling the baby shower she threw which I didn't attend. I knew I was doomed and yes I found her pacing back and forced by the door still wearing her sleeping robes and Immediately she sensed someone's presence. She turned and I stopped seeing the deadly expression on her face as she scanned me from head to toe and strode to where I was

"I threw a baby shower and guess what...the baby and the mother weren't there!" she shouted as she stopped before me. I could see a total raging dragon ready to spit fire but I did wrong and took Victor away

"Do you know how silly I looked...my friends...laughed at me and do you know why!?" she added bitterly and the only word I caught was friends, did the grumpy lady have friends well that was different I mean I thought she was just the only queen of darkness who ruled beside the devil

"I went through so much trouble to make this perfect...and you ruined it...tell me where did you go huh!?" she yelled, snapping back from thinking. Of course, I was expecting this, I only looked at her and refused to speak. I had a grumpy man to please hence I remained quiet

"So you planned this huh...so now the all-time Surrogate can control Victor...how dare you!?" she said sarcastically as she looked at me with bitter venomous eyes. I swore she would have laid her hands on me if I wasn't pregnant but luckily she was restraining herself as she spat fire. I looked at her and my concentration was on her ears, wasn't steam supposed to come out. She was already exploding but no steam

"W..what are you looking at?" she asked and glanced back since I was just staring weirdly but we'll I regained back my wits and cleared my throat

"Vic doesn't like crowded places...he kidnapped me and took.me someone and threatened not to pay me if I didn't go with him"I explained in the most sincere way possible and Monica looked at me as if I was a caveman, Julia who was passing by taking flowers to who knew where muffled in laughter and I lowered my gaze trying by all means not to laugh at Monica's expression. It was hilarious and priceless that

"You think you are funny...how dare you take Vic away from the baby shower...so now you've succeeded in trapping him huh!" she yelled and this time she was super angry

"I didn't he…"

"You think you are going to own this house just because you have Vic eating from the palm of your hands!" she did again and I could see she wasn't going to stop that her breathing was so much

"That's not it I…"

"How dare you think just because you've been sleeping with him…" she said pointing her index finger at me, my eyes widened when she said something so private that my expression dropped. She didn't continue but stopped awkwardly as if she realized her words "I didn't mean... Vivienne that came out wrong" she tried to justify her actions and foul mouth but she already triggered a nerve, if she could get angry then I could do the same

"You should stop judging me and find a way to stop your drama...you have two men you are receiving…''I said looking straight into her eyes, she seemed distant as if my words triggered a nerve but I didn't care. She could insult me yes but insulting the relationship I shared with Victor was a crime and I had to tell her off to make her understand she wasn't so perfect " I'm not so loose..fix your life and stop playing with Leo and... doctor Justin... sleeping with Leo claiming he's the man you love while doing the same with doctor Justin"I added bitterly and I could see she was angry unfortunately my big mouth spoke at the wrong time because when I looked up. I was shocked to see the man descending the stairs his eyes were on me and I could tell he just woke up

"Is...is she saying the truth?"Doctor Justin stuttered the words out that my knees went weak and Monica who heard the voice turned pale as she turned around and saw angry Justin looking at her with nothing but rage in his eyes

"Tell me...is she saying the truth!?" he asked but this time there was some anger in his voice that even I felt angry. I didn't mean to say that and looking at Monica she was so nervous that if the ground could open up, I swore she would have loved it if it swallowed her whole unfortunately my big mouth brought trouble.
