Victor smiled faintly as he fixed his gaze on his Surrogate. He was proud of her.

"Do you know, little one... she's a troublemaker...I feel like now I have two kids' 'Victor said with a chuckle. His words were a little harsh but he couldn't help it. His Surrogate was a troublemaker. She made his life a living hell for the past nine months

He smiled as he cradled his baby girl in his arms and carefully sat on the bed beside Vivienne's sleeping form and shifted the baby a little more to the left so she could have a better view of his Surrogate even if she was fast asleep. He was crazy to introduce two people who were sleeping. Of course, his daughter was still too young to open her cute little eyes and see the sleeping beauty before them but he had to do this anyway

"Look at her sweetie...she's a princess with pretty hair...my first princess so you need to respect her okay," he said as he extended his hand to Vivienne's face and tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear and he smiled a little. He was helpless, not sure if he was blessed to have the little redhead in his life

"For a 19 years old you took a risk," he said with a frown, still angry with her. For the past few months, she deceived him. From the start, she lied to him about her age. This was risky but she did it anyway

"She's pretty isn't she...wait until she wakes up... she'll hold you in her arms because she was excited for you to be born" he added knowing his Surrogate was even more excited about the baby than he was. Or maybe he just didn't want to show it but she took the initiative to find out the gender of the baby even if he told her not to. He was just happy she was okay and no complications happened

"Okay now let's go...I'm sure tomorrow she'll regain consciousness and then you'll both meet" Victor said after some time. It was late at night and his daughter needed to be somewhere warm hence he leaned down to Vivienne's face and planted a soft kiss on her forehead before he moved back. He sighed and decided to leave the room. He was certain by the next day she would be awake and causing trouble.

"Don't worry I'll look after her"Maverick said to Victor immediately he walked out of the room and Victor just nodded and left from there.

Victor's eyes opened then glanced down at Skylar she was snuggling to him and didn't seem to want to let her go. He was helpless and decided to spend the night there.

(Vivienne)

Nothing felt better than taking a hot shower, wearing nice comfortable clothing,s, and, heading to work

On my second day as an intern. The first one wasn't so bad although it ended all emotional I promised to start my day the right way

"Okay, so blue or pink...white or green, "Alexis said as he leaned on my table and showed me the gift cards she had in her hands. She bought everything for the intern's sheet who I didn't get to meet because the grumpy man gave me extra work

"Men won't take pink I'm sure of it," I said without even looking at her and fixed my eyes on the computer screen. I had more work which was wonderful. Unlike yesterday, today I was fully ready to take on any challenges and the first thing I was greeted with when we came to the office was more files delivered to my desk and Priscilla said I was responsible for the next presentation. Alexis was my partner but she was just concerned about the first friendly impression

"Men do love pink okay...my crush loved pink color," she said with a pout and I had the urge to laugh. That wouldn't do

"You see I feel lazy...I asked the supervisor for more work and I'm done so I'm taking these to the boss" she said showing me the gift cards and I looked up at them and shrugged. If she wanted to impress the grumpy man she could go ahead

"Then give him green... he'd love it, "I said picking the green card and she beamed and giggled

"Great...so this is for him..the rest I'll give to Cody and Brea," she said counting with her fingers I was irritated with her but a sudden realization made me smile

"Hey since you are going to see the boss...take these to him, "I said beaming at her, and shoved three files to her and she looked at me with delight in her eyes

"Great...this will be my excuse...Vivie, you are magical" Alexis said cheerfully and hugged me unexpectedly. I shrugged her off because she was choking me and when she moved away from me. I smiled evilly.

"And say hi, "I noticed waving her off and she nodded, took the files, and left from there. If she only knew I was using her to deliver work to Victor

Since I came I didn't set my eyes on him, after what happened with us I was trying to avoid her

"I should get some coffee," I said, glancing at the empty cup, knowing I had to get more.

I looked around and everyone we're busy working since I had only a little work left. I decided to go to the cafeteria, maybe grab a fun lunch, hence I made my way to the elevator. The cafeteria was on the first floor therefore I waited for the elevator to stop and when it did. I walked out and checked the tuck-in the blouse I was wearing for any coffee stains and without looking where I was going

"Ahh!"I bumped into someone and the mug cup I was holding slipped out of my hand and landed hard on the floor breaking into pieces

"Oh gosh…"I said but soon gasped when I saw the one I bumped into or she bumped into me because she was a little girl and when she struggled to get up and upon seeing her. I rushed to help her up so she didn't step on any glass pieces

"Oh no...come here sweetheart... careful," I said and picked her up from the floor and I beamed recalling the same girl I bumped into. It seemed we were destined to bump into each other

"Hey sweetie you are here?"I said looking at her with a smile and she didn't react..like the last time she seemed surprised of some sort

"What's your name, little one," I said and cradled her in my arms and she arched her brows at me. I wanted to laugh at how cute she looked so adorable

"Reina," she said in a cute tiny voice that could barely be heard but I heard her lips and clear

"Queen?"I asked, smiling at her and she nodded slightly biting her lower lip as if not sure, I recalled the last time Priscilla called her Reina and now she said it herself

"Then that's nice...did you come to see…"

"I came to see Papa...down please," she said before I could finish asking her and she gestured for me to put her down. I did that and she stood there looking at me

"So who's your Papa?"I asked, going down on my knees and she pouted. I didn't know why but I could know what she was thinking just by the facial expressions she was making. I hated to say this but she was just adorable

"Papa...are you a princess?" she asked me and I frowned a little and shook my head

"I'm not.."

"Papa said you are a princess"the girl cut me off again and I was surprised. I didn't know what to say but I was about to ask her who her Papa was when Priscilla came running to us

"Good god...how do you run so fast?" she said, panting and catching her breath. The girl giggled and ran behind me and held my legs. I laughed knowing she was hiding from Priscilla

"Oh hi, Vivie...I guess you found her again... aren't you supposed to be in a meeting...the boss asked me to inform you" she said laughing at her situation and I joined her and I was surprised about attending a meeting which no one told me about

Meeting...but"

"It's in the conference room, your friends are there... sweetie come now let's go eat lunch," Priscilla said gesturing for the girl to go to her but whatever she was doing wasn't working which made me laugh a little

"Come on I'm tired of running after you...let's give you lunch then take you to Papa ''Priscilla added and I could see she was frustrated but why would she when the girl wanted to play. It was cute how Priscilla was begging for the girl to follow her

"I guess she does this more often...she's a cute one"

"Yeah, the trouble kind...I babysit her every day after school since most babysitters can't handle her but now I think I can't either" Priscilla said with a smile and tried to get the girl unfortunately she didn't want to

"She said she came to see her Papa...where is he and is she allowed to run around the building?"I asked arching my brows a little, looking around. It seemed the girl loved her Papa so much for her to be running for him each time. I glanced back and she was hiding even more which made me smile helplessly

"Of course, she's allowed...who would scold the boss's precious daughter"Priscilla remarked in between laughter and managed to get he of the little girl but I didn't notice that because I was frozen in place. My eyes widened in great shock as my heart raced rapidly.

"Y...you mean...she…"

"She's Mr. Ellison's daughter"Priscilla finished the sentence for me and I felt my knees weaken. My eyes shifted to the girl struggling to get out of Priscilla's hold and tears lingered in my eyes. I didn't know what to do as strength left me completely.
