Chapter 84: Chapter 84

"I will accept your condition, but when I'm done with the company, I will return to the States to help Dred." I told them

I was sitting in front of them in the living room of their house while the maids were busy unloading the food, and I was just looking at them.

"Can't you just stay here?" Mom asked me while Dad was just looking in the opposite direction, but I didn't pay attention because my chest was just aching.

"I can stay, but on one condition: I'll use Dred's shares to raise the company."

But even before I finished explaining, Dad had already spoken.

"No, you can't do that and I won't let you! I'll still decide here! " Dad, said

And I just scoffed. Isn't it enough that Dred has contributed to their company? Do they hate him so much? They hate someone they have just recently met.

I didn't answer and I was just staring at them. I didn't know what was running through their minds and they were giving me faces. Dad was sighing badly and Mom was looking at me all worried.

"Just tell me if you want the offer or not, so I'll know when I'll buy a plane ticket." I told them and was ready to leave.

"What did that man feed you, and that's how you answer what we're saying? Did he also take from you the choice of having a hint of respect?!" Dad shouted

And that pushed me towards the end. I also don't know what he wants to convey, but they really have that weird habit of judging someone they haven't met yet.

"Come on, dad. Really? Even now, you won't make an effort to get to know him. He's my husband and not his contract lover! " I said firmly to him.

I don't want him to raise his voice or anything, and I don't want to magnify what we have now.

"What? You decide what I'm going to do or I'll leave because you didn't do anything but tell my husband word he didn't even deserve. "

"You didn't even greet me when you saw me."

"Is that even difficult?" I asked them

But Dad was looking in a different direction. Mom was crying. I know it hurts, but I needed to let this one out while I'm alive or else I'll just feel sorry for myself.

"Get out of here, we don't need your help."

"Raener," my mother said quietly.

"Go away, since you also decided to be tied up without our permission, this is the consequence. What are you waiting for?! Get out! I don't know you. You're not my daughter. " My father explained it to me.

And I scoffed. I didn’t know how I would feel and just felt a bitter taste in my mouth while looking at them.

"Why, Dad, did you ask for my permission back then?"

"No, you didn't ask me how I would feel, you never did." I said softly.

It's like I'm weakened for inexplicable reasons, and it's not that I'll stay like this forever, hidden and for unknown reasons, fightless.

"I didn't tell you what it felt like to be me. You both didn't care. Hench, I still obeyed you, even against my will. You didn't even ask me if I was okay. Does that act originate within you?" I asked them

"Whether you like it or not, I will raise the company. If you don't want me to take my husband's permanent share, suggest another company so that we can find a way immediately. Except for Armored Air, I don't have any intention of being connected to them again," I told them, and was ready to leave.

"RAENER!" Mom shouted in front of me,

I didn't feel anything, and why did I hear nothing except for his name? Mom was calling for someone to call the ambulance, and I stood there still, with a hint of a tear on my face, and I had nothing else to do but just stare at him until the ambulance arrived.

"Please bring your dad a spare set of clothes. I know you are better than this. I'm sorry, we're sorry for everything. " Mom, said while crying, and then she hugged me.

I just watched them get out and then I did my part. I took a big bag and put my father's needed things like clothes in it. Even though my vision was so blurred with tears, I still managed to find all of his needs. When I pulled his favorite shirt, an envelope was exposed to me. It doesn't look that much, but I was forced to open it.

I was hoping to find out what was causing the company to be in that state. When I opened the envelope, I was surprised to see it was our divorce papers, which I thought Dad had already passed it.

"So, I really think back then he was on my side."

"Even when he really hasn't changed, tsk."  I said and was about to put it back inside with a piece of paper that stood out.

And while I was reading, I cried for an inexplicable reason, and it was the marriage agreement that took place. I thought it was just to cover up the issue that Blade has but also to pay off their debt to Blade's parents.

I thought they were intentionally not being aware of my request that I wanted to end our contract marriage, and I thought they were already smitten with Blade, but I felt a range of anger about why they didn’t tell me, and then I packed it along with my Dad's bag and hurried to go there because I wanted to know if it was true that when our marriage was void, even though Dad had already paid the debt toward Blade's parents, that would be voided and it would seem that Dad had not paid anything, and I was so upset.

Then I ran to the main door with much more speed because such important things should not be missed, and because I was so annoyed, I cried while telling the maids to fetch me a taxi.

Then, before I opened the door, I wiped my tears, and as the door opened, I saw a familiar face.

"Can we talk for a second?" Kycine asked, looking all worried.
