Chapter 81: Chapter 81

"We might lose some stocks. Are you out of your mind, Alessia?" Dad shouted over the phone, and it was his reaction when he found out that I would get married again after a year.

"Is that all you're thinking of? Dad, the stocks?"

"Is my happiness really not that important?" I asked him

And I did think that the marriage would only be valid for a year, but we even passed that 1 year validation, and now he's coming at me as if it's also for the company, even claiming that the company would lose its stocks!

"You're devastating to have as a parent. All my life, Dad, I did nothing but make you proud. Even though I heard your secret disappointments, after you said you were proud of me, I put up with it." I said to him, crying.

"Am I just a tool for both of you?" I asked them

And they ended the call just like that, and I never heard from them again. The next day, I was a lot more sober. I told Dred everything. I even ended up crying again. Dred even told me that we could postpone the wedding if my parents really didn't want to, but I chose to have a wedding and realized that I was rebelling against them. Before the wedding, I tried to contact them again, but they were unattended.

I don't know if they received my messages, but not a day goes by that I don't apologize to them, but that's it.

I don't know when I last felt how I feel now. It's like before I was trying to get away from this place, but I can't quite imagine that I'm already here.

"I'll take our luggage straight to the hotel, Hun." Dred said to me as he got into his car, but he wasn't the one driving.

I was already sitting in the back seat when he did the same. I don't know if it's okay for me to come here again or if it's okay to go to the party even if I don't want to. Then Dred held my hand.

"Chill out. We arrived 3 days before the birthday, so don't look stressed thinking about it." he said, and I just smiled.

I don't know, but I'm anxious because Mom and Dad weren't returning my calls or messages. It's been years since I last saw them. Are they going to be mad at me for not talking to them for so long?

And I don't know what that reaction might be when they find out I'm here again.

"Are you going to get some clothes at Blade's house?" He asked me and I just looked at him smiling.

"Yes, I would have liked to do that on the date of the birthday itself, because they are busy, so I won't run to him." I told him when we arrived at the hotel, and I didn't know that he had taken a room in a condo style.

"Really?" I asked him while the hotel bell boys were busy loading our belongings.

"Yes, really, I don't want you to stay in a hotel that isn't this big." He said to me before hugging me from behind.

And we were enjoying this massive view, and for me, it's so familiar. Then I felt his breath on my neck and felt his lips touch there.

"Wait a minute, there are people still here."I said to him as I tapped his hand that was hugging me.

"What now, if there is more? We are already married," he said to me, and I slapped him on the arm.

After that, that's pretty much it. We just arranged the equipment and we continued our plan to do that in the shower after arranging our things.

I'm glad it's okay on Dred's part for us to do something intimate, because it's always okay for me.

"Let's give the birthday girl a round of applause." The clown said who was entertaining at the birthday party, which I did while holding a glass of wine, and Dred was next to me.

"Are you okay?" Dred asked me out of the blue and I just raised my brows at him.

"Yes I am. Why did you ask?"

"It's just that you encountered Blade earlier. Maybe you had a bit of unlock today." he said, sipping his wine, and then I just smiled at Dred.

"Oh, that's fine. I was a little surprised as well. But I am glad I can finally get everything I left behind because of my urgent leave to the States before."

I looked at the people who had attended their party, and only a few were familiar to me, and then my gaze turned to Blade, who was smiling and looking at his daughter, and so was Kycine.

Blade looks so mature and he really looks like a father. His hair is still undercut and faded, and this time he has a beard in the Hollywoodian style, which suits him nicely. I also don't understand Kycine's reason for inviting me, but I'm glad she did.

"If you're going to stare that much, I won't hesitate to buy a ticket right away so we can go home." "Dred he said to me, and I just smiled at him and kissed his cheeks.

But he surprised me by removing my hand that was clinging to him.

"Eh? Are you jealous, Hun? " I asked him, and then he just stared at me.

"Of course, you've been his wife for a long time and your parents have blessed your wedding." He told me, which I found cute, so I just hugged him while smiling.

"Stop that, I'm serious, Alessia." he said. Then I just laughed and while I was going with him again to kiss him, he said I should focus on the event and I finally did.

On the other hand, Blade was looking at Alessia and Dred, and he was feeling something in his tummy that seemed to push him to vomit. Blade was not comfortable and not sure of what he should do, and Kycine noticed it. She looked at where her husband was looking and felt pain in her chest. Then she just scoffed and tapped Blade lightly on his arms when the clown suddenly called them and said, "Please just this once, don't show these people that you care less about me and your daugther."  Kycine smiled as she said this. Then, Blade felt guilty.

Alessia did pay attention to what was happening. In fact, she was listening to the couple's speech for their child, but Alessia felt relieved and some sort of healing, and she thought it was the right decision for them to come here, because something was healed on her chest and she could finally say

That she's moved on from everything and that she's already okay.
