Blade's POV

I received a call from Luis about weeks ago before the vacation starts and i was getting a bit worried

I picked my things including laptop so that I could put everything he had to say, and at some point I also forgot about the amount of work so I needed to take everything especially it was a huge money

"Where are you going?" Alessia asked me

And I approached him to kiss his forehead and said

"Having a meeting lang with Luis about the missing money, don't let yourself do overloaded work." I said to him then I headed out

I was glad that he kept on looking into it even though there was too much trouble even though he won't be charged with the lost money out of act he helps me and I'm grateful for Luis and for Alessia for finding this out.

I was already down Luis ’floor and my heart was beating loud and I know he already told me that my dad used that money but for what it was a big money to be used for something unexplainable

When I got to his table he was about to stand up but I stopped him and insisted him to sit immediately

"Sir don't be surprised by the news I'm going to tell you." He said then i placed my laptop on the side of the table

And he showed me the charts from different years like 3 - 4 years ago, and it was confusing

"I don't know what happened to those but I wasn't there when some of those happened, the first problem you issued I was in charge so I know but I think you should contact your Dad Sir because if this case was discovered by the shareholders, there will be a big conflict "said Luis to me

And he is not wrong about it, what my father knows is that he is not a gambler so he could not have spent all that on gambling but where did he bring that much money? If you compute it it was almost 1 million dollars and I don't know but I need to know

"Thank you for the infor Luis, I will really talk to him we can't deny these things." I said to him and was about to leave when he suddenly stood up and called me again

"You should ask Alessia if she's seen a record like this." He told me and handed me the papers with the written years

While I was riding the elevator up, at least a few times I really think I can't paint where he used that big but I was into deep thinking when I didn't realize that I was on the floor of my office and the door closed so I waited for it to go down then up again

Lesson learned the mind is not like this you should be aware of your surroundings

I got out of the Elevator and saw that Denise my front desk came out with a tray then I wondered if there was a guest

"Hello Sir, Miss Alessia's dad is here." He says

And I didn't go in right away and listen to their conversation I know it's wrong but I want to know what was his purpose I also don't understand why they don't give Alessia a chance to excel i opened the door slightly

Then i heard what Mr Williams said it was like "Our shareholders Mr. Mendes told me that you're great at sealing deals now, maybe being with Blade boots you more." And I was heart broken by it knowing that that's exactly how they chased him for their benefit like his stories to me

Then i let them have their space pero hindi na ako nakapagtimpi and show her Dad and tell him that she with me and the paper she signed that she needs to finished before leaving the company, her Dad doesn't seem to be convinced pero it was all for her and said "I think that'll be my answer Sir, have a good day. If you'll excuse me i have to talk to my wife."

It was a bold action but I'm glad I help her.

Alessia's POV

After that clingy incident and almost heartfelt moment that I had with Blade we went back to the table to look for something

"I need you help with the record of this." He said and showed me the paper and they were familiar

"I saw this earlier. I thought you solved it since it was years ago so I didn't tell you." I told him

Then I quickly went to the documents to find everything and he also helped me, I was thinking where I went and Blade found 1 and one in a row I also found

We laid it on his table on the gita of sofas then we saw the previous year like and it was 2023 and the other 3 were all in 2019 and it was a bit confusing

"Where do you think your dad used it?" I asked him while bitting my thumb nail, who isn't nervous that a million dollars are lost when they are combined even in different years

"I need to clarify things with my Dad." He said then i was still thinking

"You need to and you must" I said to her

We are bothered both worried of what might happen next because it will be a great deal and the company might be at risk

"I think I know where he used the money." He said looking all so serious
