Chapter 115: Chapter 115
"Do you think Kycine has something to do with this?" Grizel said.
Blade looked at Alessia as she was sitting still, not saying a word, and just looking at them.
He didn't know how to tell his parents or if it was something that they should know.
The maids were all busy entering the living room with pastries and tea for themselves.
Alessia suddenly felt hungry when she saw all of her hunger aroused when they were placed on the table.
Alessia held her tummy tight as her appetite increased. She didn’t know, but after that long week of mourning and even though there were no appealing foods, she suddenly wanted to dig in.
The blade was busy thinking when his eyes landed on the lady beside him, holding her tummy.
Blade chuckled and said, "Go on, help yourself."
Alessia smiled faintly with a hint of shyness, bowed her head, and said, "Please excuse me, and thank you for this food."
Alessia happily grabbed the rolled pastry with a caramel filling inside.
Blade was just looking at her.
While Bill and Grizel looked at them, something about them touched their hearts.
As soon as Blade came back to reality, he realized that Kycine was still locked in that room, and he needed to find an answer soon, and she'd be the one who could give it to him.
The confused Blade said, "We should go."
And then he suddenly grabbed Alessia's hand and bowed to his parents.
Alessia wasn't ready to go as she was enjoying her food, but she waved her hand toward them and Grizel did the same, even though she was confused by what was happening.
When Blade and Alessia were out of their sight, Grizel smacked Bill's shoulder and said, "Why do you even have to say that?"
"Didn't you know that Alessia had just lost her husband? It's embarrassing."
Bill just chuckled and Grizel released her hands that were crossed in front of her.
"I was just excited to see them together. We both know that even though Blade is married, his heart will never stop hoping for Alessia."
"I was just happy."
Hearing this, Grizel just looked at her husband. Bill was never the type of accepting girl that came into his son's life.
"Maybe it's because of business. That's why he accepted Alessia so openly."
That's what Grizel thought, but as she heard this from her husband, it was clear that he accepted Alessia with all of his heart.
Bill smiled as Grizel kissed him on the cheeks.
"I know we are old for this, but can I have you like the first time I did?"
Grizel blushed like a teenager and smiled happily and said, "Didn't I tell you that I'm yours until we die?"
"Of course, Bill!"
Grizel and Bill stood up and went to the room.
They closed the door, and steam was all over the room.
---
Blade and Alessia reached the villa and saw that John was already inside.
John was looking at them with a clueless look.
"Did you guys get back together?"
Alessia was just looking at the house that she used to live in as her heart started to throb fast.
"No, what are you talking about?" Blade replied furiously.
John adjusted his seat as he knew that he had placed himself in that awkward situation.
Blade got up and headed upstairs to his room and decided to look for something, like the documents that Luis had gotten for him when dealing with the missing shares.
"Any hidden clues?" John asked as he entered the room.
"Nothing yet, but I plan to go to Kycine to let her speak something about it."
Blade said as he went through his documents and looked for the folder.
John just looked at him in disbelief and said, "Did you think that she would eventually tell you everything?"
"Hi Blade Armstrong, I ordered him to kill Dred Falcon. Is that what you expected her to say?"
Blade bit his lower lip and looked at John.
"No, I don't expect him to say that directly, but even if she does, I'll be grateful."
Blade got out of the door and John followed him, "Where are you going?"
Blade felt irritated as John's questions were like they hadn't talked about it earlier.
"Did you skip your breakfast today, John?"
"Because what's coming out of your little mouth is very fcking confusing."
John tapped his lips lightly and did not move from where he stood.
Alessia saw that Blade was leaving again and stood up.
"Where are you going?"
Blade just looked at her and said, "It's better if you stay here."
"No! Take us with you. "
Blade stopped and looked at her, "But-"
Alessia cut him as she was walking towards him. "Didn't you say we'd figure this one out together? So why are you going it alone?"
"Take us with you."
Alessia said, and John was nodding his head continuously as he was walking towards them.
Blade sighs and eventually take the two with him.
Blade was driving the car, and eventually, Alessia chose to sit in the back seat and John sat in the passenger seat beside Blade, which made him really irritated.
"So where did you say we were going again?" John asked.
As for Alessia, she was just looking at the view that they were passing because it was not really familiar to her.
Their car stopped and waited for the traffic light when an ice cream truck stopped on the side where Alessia was.
"Do you have some money? I need to get some ice cream."
John looked at it, and he was super excited. "That's a good idea."
"Do you have a spare blade?"
"Arghh! Can you please take this seriously? "
Alessia lowered herself and closed her window as John froze.
Blade took the u-turn and entered a subdivision that led them to Kycine and Brazie.
Alessia suddenly felt that it was becoming familiar to her, and then they entered a villa whose gate was wide open and no guard greeted them.
Blade found it very odd because he knew Kycine would never let that happen.
Blade rushed to the front door. As he opened the door, he couldn't believe what he saw.
The bodies of their maids were full of blood and it was used to write on the huge window that said
"I took what was originally mine."
