Chapter 58: Chapter 58
<Azaria>
I went home without asking Lanvin to pick me up because I didn't want him to notice that something was bothering me.
I found him in our room, working on his tasks. He rarely goes to the company; his father handles most of Lanvin's work.
"Wife, you're here. Why didn't you call me?" he asked gently as he set his laptop aside and approached me.
I hugged him tightly, "I'm sorry..."
"It's okay, I'm glad you came home safe. Next time, call me, okay?"
Sorry, Lanvin. I didn't know it would all lead to this. Your mental health isn't safe with me.
I held him tighter. I'm so relieved that no one sees Lanvin when he talks to someone we can't see.
It's better when he's at home. His hallucinations have decreased since we became okay.
"I couldn't breathe, wife." That's when I let go of my hug, I hugged him too tightly.
"How was your conversation with your father?" He asked, gesturing for me to sit on the bed.
I pouted.
"Camille ruined the mood," I complained to him, still pouting.
Lanvin smiled at me.
"That's good. I'm eager to see you. Why didn't you want me to be with you?" He asked teasingly, so I pinched his cheek.
"My clingy husband," I said while playfully pinching his cheek.
"Baby, don't you want to take a rest? Hmm, we will go to my parents' house," Lanvin said, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"What are we going to do there?" I asked, starting to stroke his hair.
"Family dinner. Take a rest, it's early. I'll wake you up so you'll look even more beautiful later. Fresh wife," he said with a smile and quickly kissed me on the lips.
"I'm not sleepy. Will you make me sleep?" I teased him, biting my lower lip. Lanvin smiled widely and kissed me passionately.

We arrived at Lanvin’s parent's house on time.
Everyone greeted us.
I saw Nick's sisters Maeve and Kianna. The two girls playing and wearing the same pink dress.
My gaze stopped at the woman wearing a white dress. I held Nick's hand.
Why is this girl here?
"Nick!" Claudine called out to my husband when she saw him.
Claudine was about to kiss my husband's cheeks when Nick avoided her.
"I don't want my brother to get jealous," Nick said seriously as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
Claudine laughed.
"I wish Thunder were here. I miss my husband's jealousy," Claudine said, and I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"Thunder was jealous when you were talking to me. Your brother is so possessive, sometimes I wonder if you're really siblings," Claudine cheerfully reminisced about the past.
"Kianna even had classmates who saw you and thought you were her dad. You and Kianna look alike. Her classmates thought her dad had come back to life," she chuckled.
Nick wasn't paying attention to her; he wasn't acknowledging Claudine, and it was obvious he wasn't listening.
"Wife, let's go to the bar counter. My cousin Ysablle is there," Nick invited me.
We left Claudine, who was happily talking about her deceased husband.
"Nick!" Claudine called out as we left without saying goodbye.
It's pretty obvious that Claudine has a thing for Nick. She's trying to flirt with my husband. Just because her husband looks similar to Nick, does that give her the right to flirt? Isn't she ashamed of hitting on her sister-in-law's brother? Thunder died years ago, yet Claudine wants Nick to be the father of her child. Nonetheless, Nick supports Kianna financially.
We caught Ysablle taking a selfie at the counter.
"Brother Nick, let's take a selfie!" Ysabelle exclaimed when she saw the two of us.
Ysabelle aimed the camera at Nick and me. I smiled at the camera while Nick hid his face in my shoulder.
"The man who's allergic to the camera," Ysabelle grumbled while looking at the picture of the three of us.
"Wow! It's candid! Nice pose, brother. Azaria looks..." Ysabelle showed me the picture. It was nicely captured, slightly blurred due to the camera movement.
"Hey! Let me join!"
I glanced at Claudine.
Is this woman seriously going to follow us here too? I discreetly rolled my eyes.
Ysabelle aimed the camera at us again, and Claudine squeezed herself next to Nick.
My husband's hand never left my waist, and he did the same pose as before, hiding his face on my shoulder.
Nick groaned and playfully bit my shoulder.
My husband is clingy. Nick always wants to hold my hand and hug me. He also did not want to disappear from his sight. He likes that he can touch me.
