Chapter 15: Chapter 15
"Sure, wife. Do you want me to accompany you?" Nick offered.
"No need. I'll just ask Hailey to come with me. It's been a while since we last saw each other," Azaria replied.
"I'll still go with you then."
"I don't want to bother you. You'll feel out of place with us."
"It's okay. Make me your bodyguard or assistant," he suggested.
"Don't you have work to do?" she retorted.
"I do, but I want to accompany you and see all those bags you're getting."
Her eyes sparkled at his words, knowing he was teasing her.
Nick was running late for work because they had been teasing each other.
"Where's my kiss?" Nick demanded just as he was about to leave.
"What kiss are you talking about?" she raised an eyebrow.
"I'm going to work, and you should give me a kiss."
"I don't want to!" She stubbornly resisted. "Don't come near me!" she threatened, knowing his ways.
Despite her resistance, Nick approached her and took her hand, pulling her closer while planting a kiss on her lips. Azaria didn't resist and kissed him back; she couldn't help but enjoy his sweet and soft lips, becoming addicted to his kisses.
After breaking the kiss, he smiled, and her lips sparkled from their passionate moment.
"You should kiss me every time I come home from work," he demanded.
"Fuck you!"
"I would love to! How about now, wife?" he teased her.
"Get out of here! You're so annoying!" She playfully shooed him away.
He laughed and left the house with a smile, feeling inspired to work.
When he entered his office, he found Kianna waiting for him.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, approaching her.
"I'm with mommy Claudine; she wants to see you," Kianna replied.
He frowned.
"Where is she?" He asks.
"She went out when a man came in looking for you," Kianna politely answers.
"Oh, Hi, Babe!" Claudine arrives just in time, smiling widely as she approaches Nick and quickly kisses him on the cheek.
"What are you doing here?" He asks rudely.
Claudine's smile fades at his question.
She puts on a sad face, "Why? Aren't you happy that I visited you with Kianna? We both miss you. It's been one month since I last saw you, and you didn't even bother reaching out to me. Let's go out and eat together!"
He swivels his chair and Kianna comes to him.
"Kuya, I missed you," the little girl says with a sad tone.
"Come here, I missed you too," he replies, pulling her into a hug.
"When will you visit us at home?" Kianna asks innocently.
"Let's go out on Sunday if you're busy today," Claudine continues to suggest.
"I won't go; I'll be busy. I have a meeting with the investor, and I'm working to revive the company," he rejects the idea.
"Come on, Kuya! Join us!" Kianna tries to persuade her brother.
"You really look alike with Kianna," Claudine mutters, "she's like your girl version."
Nick stilled.
"Come on, please don't refuse the child. Let's have a family day; it's been a long time since we went out together," she persists.
"Claudine, stop. I'm married, and you're aware of it," he asserts.
"But what about us, your child and me? What about Kianna and me? I know you're married now, but please don't deny us your time. Give us some of your time," she replied with a tinge of sadness.
“I’ll give you time whenever I want,” he said rudely.

“Hello, I'm Azaria, Nikolai's wife. And no, I don't have a scheduled appointment. I just wanted to surprise him and maybe have a quick chat with him," she replied cheerfully.
The receptionist looked a bit hesitant, not sure if she should allow Azaria to proceed without an appointment. However, Azaria's charm and enthusiasm seemed to win her over.
“Well, since you're the boss's wife, I guess it's okay. His office is on the 25th floor, ma’am," the receptionist said, pointing towards the elevator.
"Thank you! You're a doll!" Azaria said, winking at the receptionist before making her way to the elevator.
As the elevator doors closed, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. It's been a while since she visited Nikolai's workplace, and she was curious to see what he did every day.
When the elevator reached the 25th floor, she stepped out and walked confidently down the hallway. She could feel some curious glances from the employees, but she paid no mind to it. She knew she had every right to be there.
Finally, she reached Nikolai's office, and she knocked on the door before entering.
"Knock, knock! Surprise!" she said playfully as she entered, seeing Nikolai sitting behind his desk with a surprised expression.
"Azaria? What are you doing here?" he asked, clearly caught off guard by her sudden appearance.
"I wanted to see where my busy husband spends his days," she replied, crossing her arms and looking around the office.
Nikolai couldn't help but smile at her infectious energy. He stood up and walked over to her, pulling her into a warm embrace.
"Well, you certainly know how to surprise me," he said, kissing her forehead.
"I just wanted to say hi and see what you're up to. Can I hang around for a bit?" she asked, looking up at him with a playful grin.
"Of course, you're always welcome here," he replied, feeling grateful for her visit.
And so, Azaria spent some time at Nikolai's office, chatting with him and meeting some of his colleagues. She couldn't help but feel proud of her husband and the successful company he had built.
After a while, she excused herself, promising to come back soon. As she left the office building, she felt a renewed sense of excitement for her own plans, knowing that she had Nikolai's support and love every step of the way.
“I’m his wife.”
"Hello, Ma'am, is that you? Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you. He's on the 86th floor, and I'll inform his secretary that you're here," the receptionist politely responded while smiling broadly.
She smiled back at the woman, but it was only a facade.
She boarded the elevator and felt the stares of people, but she didn't care. She stood in front of the office, and there was no one at the secretary's desk.
"I don't want to come to my office again, Claudine, and please stop using Kianna as an excuse."
"But she's also your daughter, right? She also has the right to your time. Maybe you should just give her your attention and not me."
She frowned, unsure of what they were talking about.
Whose child were they referring to?
"Just because she's my daughter doesn't give you the right to demand things from me, especially since I'm married."
"Do you want me to remind you of the promises you made?"
She cautiously opened the door and was taken aback to see a child inside who resembled Nick, sitting on her lap. There was also a woman standing, who was not particularly attractive.
"Mommy, are you fighting?" the child asked innocently.
"No, sweetheart, your dad and I are not fighting," she replied.
What? Nick has a child with another woman?! But then why did he marry her if he already had a child with someone else?
She didn't listen any further and decided to leave the place.
Nick is just playing with her, and what is his plan? She won't allow him to marry her if he has other motives.
She needs to be wise and not let herself be swayed by Nick's words. They are engaged in a game, and she must be careful.
She will find out what Nick's plan is.
Her gut feeling tells her that Nick has planned all of this, and her grandfather got involved. There's only one thing she can think of—Nick wants to take over her family's business.
She got into her car, filled with frustration. What if she deliberately crashed her car into his? At least he would have to pay for hurting her.
She still wants to go home alive; she will think of another plan.

"Why are you in a bad mood? You're frowning there," Enzo asked Nick when he went to see them.
"Keran took so long, he just went to buy ice but it took him an hour," Sorin complained, looking annoyed.
"Bro, do a commercial now. Okay, this video is brought to you by distilled drinking water, purified and good for babies. Ma'am, we only have the green one available, navy black is out of stock," Noah teased as he went live from Enzo's house.
He glanced at Noah, who was still live streaming even at Enzo's place.
"Let's go to BGC and leave him behind!" Sorin suggested, irritated.
"Let's wait. We'll still go to the happy lounge place, right?" Enzo replied.
He left his office after Sorin and Keran left without getting anything from him. They had an agreement as friends that they wouldn't go to work and just hang out at Enzo's place, which was a warm and comfortable hangout spot. Later that night, they had plans to go to a bar.
He called his wife to say goodbye, but she didn't answer his call. He was in a bad mood and frowning, not knowing where his wife was so he could go and find her.
To Azaria Wifey
Where are you? Text me please, I'm damn worried here.
After he sent his message, he faced his friends.
"Finally, you showed up!" Sorin greeted Keran with annoyance.
"Sorry, I bumped into someone, but I'm okay now. Damn bro! The girl I bumped into was so beautiful! She might be my soul mate," Keran said playfully.
"Idiot!" Enzo replied.
"Where's the ice one you bought?" Sorin asked.
"It melted, hehe," Nick replied, shaking his head.
"Bro, I have my period. Sis, why do you still need to tell me? Here's what you do, buy pads with wings and fly away," Nick listened to Noah's live streaming, "Bro, I broke up with my girlfriend. You deserve that."
Nick just shook his head at his friend who was always busy with live streaming all day long.
"Fucker, you're live again? Include me!" Keran excitedly asked and approached his friend who had been live for two hours.
"Are we still going to the bar?!" Sorin shouted loudly, calling out to the two who were busy with their live streams. No one answered him, "Damn it! We even met up just for them to do live streams!"
"Let's just drink here," Enzo suggested.
Sorin had been irritated since earlier, while Nick was in no mood.
"Hey, guys! I'm also going live. Buy panties and bras from me! Divisoria prices!" Keran announced on Noah's live.
"You son of a bitch! This is my live, get out of here! You're stealing my customers!" Noah retorted.
"I'm making my own account too, buy panties from me, okay?!" Keran said to the viewers.
"Go over there!" Noah said, pushing his friend away to keep him out of his live stream.
