Chapter 92: Chapter 92

"Liam! Your company had a problem!"

Princess was looking at Liam who was on top of Violet and now she was covering her face with a pillow. Princess couldn't believe it and Liam looked at her with his deadliest stare.

Liam stood up and walked towards the door where Princess was, she looked down, "I'm sorry--"

The door closed after Princess followed Liam and Violet removed the pillow that covered her whole face, "Let's not forget to lock the door, next time."

---

Princess followed Liam to the balcony and was surprised that Liam already knew where he was going even though they only arrived earlier today.

"I thought you were going to sleep? Can't you wait to tell me that tomorrow?" Liam's voice turned cold and Princess just looked at him

"Excuse me?! It was urgent! More urgent than what you two were doing!"

Princess felt frustrated as she was looking at Liam in disbelief, "What a shame!" she shouted in the back of her head.

"So now tell me---what happened?"

Princess took a while to compose herself then took a deep breath, "Where's your phone? Is it still turned off?"

Liam looked at the view as the moonlight shines on the grass, "I haven't removed it from my bag yet, but I know the airplane mode was on."

"Well, that explains it."

"Explain?"

Princess rolled her eyes, "Your secretary was trying to reach you for the whole day and it took her a while to get my number, didn't I tell you that you should turn off the location so you can always use it?!"

Liam had enough of Princess being an earful, "What happened please get straight to the point?"

"Mr. Ramsey appeared earlier today at your company building and your secretary was so stressed that she ended up calling you but you didn't answer and your secretary said, "If he's not here by tomorrow, I'll do something he won't like!"

Princess looked at Liam with a worried expression on her face, "And I think we should go home tomorrow."

Liam thumb went to his chin as his thoughts suddenly deepened, he was trying to think of all the alternatives that he would make just to be with his mother and son but he knew he would have a hard time.

"Hmmm---you should book our flight now so we can get home easier the closer the day the better." After these words fell, Liam turned to return while Princess felt unsure, "What about Steve and Violet?"

Princess knew how difficult Liam's situation was when he returned there but she was even worried when she heard Violet's disappointment when she realized that Liam was only here to visit.

Liam smiled, "I know she'll understand. She knows that I can't disrespect my father like that."

Princess's hand clenched looking at Liam walking away, "You're just a coward."

Liam stopped in his tracks and thought for a while, "You know what? It's better to be careful than to face consequences."

"Yes, I'm a coward. Coward to take a risk because I don't want them to be separated from me."

Liam turned to pat Princess's head, "Thank you for helping me---all this time."

Princess bowed her head as tears started to fall from her eyes, Liam walked away and Princess was left to look at the moon.

"What a romantic-coward boy."

---

"What's taking them so long?" Violet asked herself while she paces on the floor of her room.

Restless and even biting her nail then the door opened, revealing Liam who just came into the room. Violet rushed to him, "What happened to the company?"

Violet's eyes were worried and she was, she didn't know what she would feel and Liam guided her to the edge of the bed to sit. Violet didn't take her eyes off Liam and seemed to be looking for an answer on his face.

Liam caresses Violet's face, "My secretary tried to call me but I didn't know because I didn't take my phone out of my bag, so she tried to call Princess."

He stopped and stared at Violet who was listening to him quite, he didn't know how he would feel with the lady beside him, he knew how much she waited for this opportunity while she's been away, they'd been away long enough.

Liam took a deep breath, "My father charged our company's building to go out just to look for me, and I think it's odd knowing that he's been quiet since the incident---odd because out of all days why did he appear now?"

Violet nodded her head while feeling a disturbing nervousness, it wasn't calming to hear Ramsey especially since he has possession of killing her and Steve.

"So we needed to get home and let me ask you, do you want to come with me?" Liam looked at her with sincerity.

Violet paused to think and held Liam's hand, going home doesn't excite her very much. After all, she has nothing to look forward to except seeing Liam.

Violet smiled, "Remember what I told you? About us living in here, I think---I can wait a long time."

"So it's fine, we'll just stay here where Steve and I are safe."

Hearing this wasn't pleasant to Liam's heart as it shattered into pieces, but he couldn't do anything but hug Violet with teary eyes, "I'll come back as soon as I settle everything. I'm sorry--for being involved in this kind of a mess."

She broke the hug and placed her lips on Liam's lips, kissing it passionately making sure that it would leave a mark that Liam would remember until he returned home.

"Even if it takes longer, as long as you visit us a day or two every month I don't have a complaint, but I now understand monitor all your movements---I'll wait for you to go home."

Violet smiled as tears fell on her face, she kissed Liam and sat on top of him, she ended up crying and was being hugged by Liam.

The thought of being away again was too much for the two of them to bear and that made Violet wonder.

"I know it was a selfish thing for me to wonder, but what if, I begged him to stay? Would he stay?"

Violet never stopped her silent sobs as her heart broke because of the thought that they'd be complete, but they were not even half of the process of waiting.
