Chapter 88: Chapter 88

"This was the model that my team and I came up with, I hope to take a closer look at the details of our design. It would be appreciated."

I was just looking at Khalil when he was distributing the pictures that were the design of the new car that our company would launch but I wasn't really listening to what he was saying and just looking at their every move.

How long has it been?

I don't know how long it's been but I only know one thing, after I learned that incident that my father created a scene and ended up being shot in his leg, he was nowhere to be found.

He was like Violet, it's been a month. I talked to Jeric and even ended up threatening him that I would take his life but he didn't say anything other than, "I don't know." and never let us see a shadow of him.

Until now I still don't know what to do and I can't force myself to get used to it, because how can I get used to an event that I just experienced?

The only thing I'm holding on to now was the letters that come to me every after one week, two letters of aspiring quotes that I know from whom, but I was confused as to how I could learn them if even the address of the mail I received was erased.

'You did very well on hiding my woman, where are you now?'

"Mr. Dawnson? Excuse me? What do you think of the design---you've been staring at it for a while now." Khalil smiled at Liam sweetly.

Liam lifted his gaze and it landed on Princess who was with him inside the meeting room, Princess just shook her head.

Liam cleared his throat, "this is a slick design but I need to think because you guys gave me a lot of options."

Liam placed his pointy finger on his temple and smiled awkwardly, "Can we continue this meeting tomorrow? You're all dismissed."

The people inside were all confused especially by Liam's forced smile, the man didn't smile even for a second inside the meeting room ever since and it was bothering them so much.

Liam left the room and the leader shrugged their shoulders and stood up and left the room at the same time.

"Do you think he's alright?"

The lady clicked her tongue and elbowed the person next to her, "Are you blind? Haven't you noticed that he's been like that for a long time, I suddenly missed those times when he was so strict! I don't like what's happening, we don't know what to do, if he's okay or not, whether something will be changed or not. I don't know!"

Princess heard the two ladies' conversation and he couldn't help but lean back on her swivel chair and look at the ceiling.

Princess paused as something crazy thought was bothering her head and sat up, "What if?"

Princess was walking faster and her stilettos create a satisfying tone as the heel met the tiles, she opened Liam's office and she didn't do anything but look at the empty seat.

She rolled up her polo sleeves and tightened her hair, "Let's make them stop saying those words shall we Princess?"

The door closed and the lady began to learn about the thought she made earlier.

"You again Mr. Dawnson? Sir Jeric wasn't in here and he forbid us from letting you in especially since Miss Violet wasn't here." the guard halted Liam from getting in any further.

Liam's face was filled with sorrow and he couldn't help but feel weak but because of the respect he had within him, he was forced to retreat.

Liam entered his car and leaned on the seat while looking at the entrance of United Program waiting for a miracle or a phone call.

It was his phone and he quickly flipped it open and he was disappointed to see Princess's name on the screen, during that whole month he only heard a handful of sermons from Princess, she even said to Liam, "You are an ugly mess and do you think Violet would like you--now?"

Liam shut his eyes close and the phone call ended, he was about to drive again when suddenly Princess called again.

"That's odd, maybe urgent news," Liam said to himself in surprise and he finally answered the call.

"I have news! Good, very good news!" Princess shouted enthusiastically, almost deafening Liam.

Liam sighed but didn't relieve anything inside him, "What is it about? Can we talk about it tomorrow?"

"No. Go to your office now!"

Liam was stunned as Princess didn't convince him that much which made him curious and drove back to the company. He entered his office when he saw Princess sitting on the sofa.

Liam dumbfounded looked at the papers scattered on the table when he saw the letters that were sent to him, he felt pressure as his hand started to sweat and quickly gathered the letters he had, he cried angrily to Princess.

"Why are you scattering my stuff like this?! Are you so thirsty to know such things that you have lost respect?!"

Princess glared at him, "Aren't you wondering why she sends you letters that don't have anything on it but quotes and quick messages?"

"No. Because she loves me."

Princess faced palm and rolled her eyes, "It's a really good thing that someone loved you."

Liam arranged the letters neatly and Princess just looked at them, Liam glared at her, "If you touch my things one more time, all the things I owe you will be erased."

Those words didn't bother Princess and said, "Can I borrow those again?"

Liam hid the letters behind his back, "W-why?"

"Come on! I'm running out of patience Liam." Princess said emphatically and Liam quickly gave it to her.

Because of the arrangement of the letters with the help of Liam, Princess was given a way to crack the code, after she placed them on the table with full concentration she got a pen and a piece of paper and wrote the words that she knew she saw.

"Hey! What's going on?!" Liam asked confused and there was fear on his face.

Princess searched for something on the internet and when she found out! She jumped with joy.

"What's going on Princess I don't like this!" There was a trace of seriousness on Liam's face.

Princess looked at Liam as she smiled sweetly, "Do you want to visit a city with me?"
